The only city that isn't on the ground is Zephyr. The air consumes every nook and cranny of it, including those who inhabited it. The children of the divine air reside here and even though they could have, they have chosen not to have such a complicated society the way the city Oxidane had. It was peaceful there. It was loved by all. 

Then, the fire nation attacked.

Okay, no they didn't but you know who did? The Inferno. They destroyed Oxidane and we'll be next most likely, all out war is going to be brought to the savages. This is exactly why we never included them in out societies - I hope that the little flames finally go out. For good.

Damn, Phoenix, back at it again with the smashing covers and stories! (Okay lol, so I wanna call myself Phoenix now by the way since being called "A" doesn't have a kick to it, ya know?) Okay, the point of this book was to be told by a racist point of view in a way. Of course, during the book I was hoping to put the main character through certain scenarios where they become immersed in the devastation her ancestors and current neighbours and government have caused the Inferno by meeting Athina as well as Ember. Both were friends in secret for fear of being exiled and - get this - they know what's really going on behind the scenes.
