I think this was one of my best ones. Don't you?

Desc: You've heard legends. You may have even seen someone who is an 'absolute legend' but there were four girls whose tale has been passed down for centuries and more to come. This is not a story but fact with some bent truth here and there (it has been passed down for centuries after all). This is the tale of our heroes: Belle, Rapunzel, Mulan and Ariel and how they defeated the most notorious villains of all time.

I didn't like this book because I chose Belle as one of the heroes. I wanted to choose at least two people who weren't usually main characters in books but the way I portrayed her was really off (she ends up getting abused by Adam). See? Not good at all.

First and only chapter Fa! :

"C'mon, don't tell me you can't catch up!" A smiling girl with black hair and dark eyes ran as fast as she could with a red-haired boy just a bit behind her.

Her name was Mulan and his, Hercules. They were practicing for the big race against DreamWorks (usually referred to as their rivals). DreamWorks and Disney were two completely different schools but both were academically and athletically demolishing every other school. They were the two best ones but, you see, Disney has been on top for a long, long time and DreamWorks is now new competition. A new rival.

Mulan crossed the finish line with no difficulty but Hercules dropped to the ground drenched in sweat and panting.

"You're... more of a man... than I... am." That was the last thing he said before blacking out. Maybe she worked him too hard?

"Mulan Fa, you beast!" Another redhead, Ariel, giggled as she edged closer to her best friend. "You knocked out my cousin!"

"Next thing you know it'll be you." Mulan joked back. As they both giggled a groan emerged from Hercules. They both paused and look at the poor guy before laughing again and leaving.

"I can't wait till we battle DreamWorks." Mulan sighed and put her hands behind her head.

"This isn't a war, calm down Fa."

"And you don't have six sisters. Jokes aside, if you think I'm bad you should take one look at Merida. She sees it as life or death!"

Ariel's eyes widened. "Seriously? Well, she is Merida I guess."

Just then, Merida put her arms around Mulan and Ariel, getting herself in the middle. "So, I'm the talk of the party, eh? Maybe it's because we all know that I'll be takin' down DreamWorks and Fa, here, will be watching."

"No way! You'll probably be the one in the bench, watching me dominate every sport!" She retorted in a joking manner.

"Girls, you know Belle?" Ariel said suddenly in a hushed whisper, silencing the laughter between Merida and Mulan.

The two nodded in response. "What about her?" Merida asked.

"I'm second to her in all classes except sports obviously." Mulan admitted which stunned Merida. Usually Mulan is first– never second.

"Well, I was walking to her house to see if Maurice could make me a confetti canon. I don't like the ones in the stores– always pink and white confetti never any rainbow..."

"Ariel!"

"Sorry. Well, I heard screams from her house that sounded like Belle's. And I heard some kind of wooden object like a chair being thrown– I heard it break." The sad expression on Ariel's face had spread to the other girls.

"Do you... think it was Maurice?"

"Now that's a stupid question. Fa, I thought you were a smart one!"

"Merida's right. Maurice is too nice and innocent. Like Rapunzel." Ariel agreed. "I did some digging in the gossip world and found that there's a rumor going round that Adam has been beating her. Her own boyfriend!"

"Asshole." Merida spat. "When I get my hands on that one..."

"Why doesn't she break up with him?"

"Love. He noticed her when she was bullied by those Bimbettes and Harem Girls other than Gaston. Well, at least that's how Belle says they met. Remember when Maurice went missing? Well, rumour has it he went on Adam's turf uninvited so... he was held prisoner. Belle immediately went after him when she noticed he was gone and exchanged her freedom for his. She was his prisoner!"

"And she still fell in love with him?" Merida was shocked and that doesn't happen all too often.

"The better question is why doesn't anyone do anything about it?"

"The only reason it's a rumour is because both Belle and Adam have denied everything. And soon, the rumour was buried and forgotten until I dug it back up. Everyone trusts Belle is a smart girl and knows her good guys from bad guys. I thought I did too."
