AN: Set before Christmas

Annabeth was tired. She had spent the whole day showing camp to some tiresome new campers, making strategies for capture the flag and designing yet another throne for Aphrodite.

The least she wantes was a decent sleep.

Which is why when Percy's letter came she wasn't happy.

It was a blue piece of paper, carried by a watery wave.

Meet me outside. I want to show you something.

- Love Percy

Annabeth let out a groan. Her bed was so warm, she didn't want to leave it. But she knew Percy wouldn't give up and would keep waking her up.

"It had better be worth it seaweed brain"

Annabeth stepped out and a blast of snow hit her in the face. Literally. She got a snowball in her face.

"Percy!", she shrieked

But as she wiped off the snow, all her anger evaporated.

Right in front of her loomed a huge ice castle, complete with intricately designed walls and towers. Annabeth could talk about its architecture for hours.

On its left sat a huge ice Santa Claus on his sledge with all the reigndeers, his face full of joy.

On the castle's right stood numerous snowmen, there arms seemed to be waving at her and amidst them stood her Seaweed Brain with an idotic grin on his face.

"I found out I could control snow and ice too" he said with a shrug.

Right there Annabeth's heart melted. It was all so beautiful. And Percy had done all this for her.

"Percy this is amazing" she said breathlessly and ran up to Percy who enveloped her in a hug.

They stood there for sometime. A few minutes or maybe longer. Annabeth didn't care. She could stay like this forever.

Finally she stepped back and smiled at Percy.

"You liked it?" Percy asked

"Its perfect", Annabeth said stepping back

"Except for one thing..."

Percy frowned. "What?"

"This", Annabeth said as she turned and lifted the head of the huge snowman behind her and dumped it onto Percy who fell back with a grunt.

"That", Annabeth said,
"Is for the snowball"

She laughed as Percy emerged from the snow with a carrot on his head.

Suddenly she found someone grab hold of her leg and the next moment she was lying next to Percy as the two of them shoved snow onto each other.

Finally they stopped to take a breath, lying on their backs, looking at each other.

Annabeth's heart acjed with happiness as she looked at Percy who had closed his eyes. His black hair were messier than ever, his lips fixated into a perfect smile, his hand closed onto hers.

Annabeth didn't feel the cold. How could she? She was never anything but happy when she was with Percy.

This couldn't be more perfect, she thought.

But then it did.

Percy opened his eyes. "Look", he said softly, his eyes indicating the sky.

Annabeth looked up and let out a gasp as she saw the stary black sky now covered with white snowflakes. One landed on her nose and she laughed as it melted, tickling her.

But the snowflakes weren't coming down anymore. They were swirling in the sky, forming a pattern.

Forming some words.

I love you Annabeth

Tears came into Annabeth's eyes as her whole body tingled.

Oh Seaweed Brain, she thought.
She leaned onto Percy and kissed him, breaking his consentration.

The snowflakes fluttered down onto the couple who kept kissing until the last of the snowflakes had fallen down.

Finally Annabeth broke off.

"I love you too, Seawwed Brain"
