I know we were teens at one stage. Or we are right now or soon, but let me tell you being a teen in our time and in the 90's is/ was really weird. If you haven't dated or kissed someone by age 16 at least you are apparently weird. If you don't party or stay up past 11pm your weird. If you aren't talking about the cutest/ hottest person in school or a crush your weird. If you like a certain subject A LOT or enjoy school sort of your weird.
No one in their right mind wants to be the teacher's favourite.
That leads to teasing or being bullied for possibly having advantages apparently. It makes others jealous.

Teens talk about how much they developed, not like a normal kid or person but it's an obsession for some of them to say how they possibly became more attractive.

Guys expect a girl to behave in a few certain categories:

The clingy girl friend that doesn't want to leave her boy friend and accepts him back immediately after a break up.

The, I am a woman that must be spoiled girl.

The, I'm miss popular I flirt with or date any popular guy, girl.

The mothering, girl.

The parents little angel or girl that every parent likes.

And lastly, the girl that is special and different girl, but guys take a while to find them sometimes.

A lot of the top mentioned girls mellow out after school.

PEOPLE. YOU DON'T NEED TO DATE, OR BE LIKE OTHERS. WE ARE NORMAL, OR HAVE DIFFERENT PERSONALITIES, SO WHY BE SOMEONE ELSE?
