RELATIONSHIP STATUS: Istaqa is secretly a romantic, but he is very chill about it and tries to hide it. He doesn't do the dating scene, but he really wants to get married. Feel free to woo him!

PERSONALITY AND CHARACTER ANALYSIS: Istaqa is a good mix between both of his parents. He loves to joke around and be playful like his father, Jacob Black, but he is also serene and romantic like his mother, Renesmee Cullen. Ironically, though, he seems to identify more with his grandmother, Isabella Marie Swan, and he is very close with her. Despite his bold personality, Istaqa is very difficult to read and can often be very stoic. He is very respectful and always seems to say the right thing. He is also extremely loyal, to the point where he is nicknamed "Golden Retriever", and he is very dependable.
  Unfortunately, because he wears his heart on his sleeve and is almost too genuine, he is taken advantage of a lot. He is very lonely and connects more with animals than people. Despite being part vampire, he has grown very good at controlling his instincts. He refuses to feast on animals unless they are already dead, nor does he eat people. Sometimes, he transforms into his wolf form around animals because he feels more at home that way.

CHARACTER ARC: Istaqa Cullen-Black was born to a werewolf named Jacob Black and a human-vampire hybrid named Renesmee Cullen, making him a human-vampire-werewolf tribrid. He knew that he wasn't like other humans because his parents explained that to him when he was young, but he never knew just how severe it was until he smelled the blood of a dying rabbit on the way home from school one day. He loved animals and often brought them back home to nurse them back to health, but that day, he couldn't help himself. He ate the rabbit. He felt so guilty about it that he went home and told his parents that he was a murderer, explaining to them what had happened.
  They decided to explain everything to him in detail, but he didn't want to hear it and decided to confide in his grandmother, Bella, who helped him cope.
