arvid helson is the embodiment of the three c's, that being cool, calm and collected. it takes a hell of a lot rile arvid up, in fact he's never been angry, well at least not outwardly so. arvid is also always in control, every situation he engineers to his liking, to gain what he wants, he hates being out of control in any situation.
arvid is an extremely manipulative person, he enjoys playing around with others, toying with them either to get what he wants or purely for the fun of it as he enjoys manipulating others. he's also extremely ambitious, setting himself goals of grandeur to push himself in life, many people giving him the title of overachiever.
arvid is a remarkable liar, all his life he's lied to others, sometimes it's for an actual purpose, yet most of the time he simply lies because he can, because he wants to. arvid is also an extremely skilled actor, putting up multiple facades for various people so he can gain their trust, not many people actually know what he's really like yet many think they do.
arvid could be described as self-absorbed, due to the fact he's extremely confident in his own abilities and strengths, knowing what he's good at and expressing it through his attitude. arvid is also a great leader, apart from the fact that he won't take orders from anyone else he has the qualities of a stereotypical good leader such as intelligence, popularity, power and the will to lead.
arvid is known to be a bit reckless and rebellious, he doesn't enjoy listening to authority and prefers to act up when he can. due to such behaviour and other activities he participates in arvid could be branded as your stereotypical 'bad boy' who prefers to just do what he wants.

symbiosis
arvid gained a symbiotic relationship with a creature the moment he was born, the demigod born nearly dead due to his mother's nature and was only saved by the symbiotic creature bonding with him. the symbiosis has granted arvid an enhanced condition, making him stronger, faster, more durable and granted him keener senses, enabling an enhanced healing factor, though most importantly this unique relationship keeps arvid alive just as it does the symbiotic creature. the creature also grants an armour like shell for arvid when needed which reflexively responds to perceived danger. finally arvid can manipulate the symbiotic creature further into weapons and tools, and living tissue that is harmed by these symbiotic weapons are capable of invading the organic mass and destroying it, feeding off the biological matter and giving that energy back to arvid.
age acceleration touch
this ability allows arvid to accelerate the age of whatever he touches, causing the appropriate damage which comes with aging. he can age both organic and inorganic matter and can spread the effect over the entirety of whatever he touches.
power limitations
symbiosis
- while the symbiosis grants an amazing healing factor, arvid is both physically and emotionally numb to stimulation, he can't feel pain nor can he empathise, this causes him to repeatedly inflict grievous wounds on himself in an attempt to feel some form of sensation, though always results in the same outcome, a feeling of emptiness.
- the symbiotic creature bonded to arvid requires sustenance, and while it is content to mostly passively feed off of arvid, it does hold a voracious hunger for other living things, so arvid must often feed it so it's appetite is sated and it doesn't devour other people.
- arvid can't sleep or eat, firstly because he doesn't physically need to as he is sustained by his symbiotic relationship, but also because he is unable to, when he sleeps his symbionts forcibly wakes him because it sees sleep as a threat to arvid as he can't move, and eating food can contain toxins so the symbiotic creature forcibly forced arvid to vomit anything he consumes.
age acceleration touch
- arvid can't turn the ability on and off at his own will, he is forced to coat his hands in the symbiotic membrane he controls so he doesn't turn everything he touches to dust.
- his ability is touch dependent and that exclusively applies to his hands, meaning if you can avoid them it isn't a threat.
weapon
arvid typically only uses weapons made from the symbiotic creature that inhabits his body, but if he is trying to be careful such as when he spars with his allies then he typically uses a sword.

- arvid was raised in helheim due to the nature of his ability to rapidly age whatever he touches. but until he was sixteen the demigod was left unaware of his abilities because his mother created an entire town filled with the souls of the deceased to keep him company. his mother wanting him to live a normal life as long as he could and she knew that in midgard he'd be ostracised.
- arvid was born nearly completely blind, his eyes taking on a milky white appearance. he's capable of seeing vague outlines which he describes sort of like shadows but that's it. thankfully however due to his bond with the symbiotic creature he is able to perceive the world through his remaining four senses which are supernaturally enhanced by the creature.
