"What was what?" You asked pulling away and giving Astro a confused look. Astro took your hand and hurried outside. He looked up at metro city and you both saw the explosions. You covered your mouth in horror a gasp escaping your lips.

"I gotta help!" Astro said running forward. You ran after him and he stopped short.

"Stay here." He said motioning to the ground.

"No! Astro let me help!" You said worriedly. Astro gave you a smile and cupped the side of your face gently.

"I can't lose you." You whispered as tears filled your eyes while your hands gripped at his white t-shirt. A determined gleam flickered in Astro's eyes as he released your cheek and pushed your hands down gingerly.

"You won't." He said reassuringly before turning away and jetting off. You stood there for a few seconds before you tightened a fist.

"You bet I won't." You stated before taking off in a run to hamegg's place.

Astro flew up to the city and his jaw fell ajar slightly as he looked around at all. The rubble and destruction.

"Come out come out where ever you are~" a deep voice resonated throughout the city. It sounded sing songy. Though that hardly made it seem less terrifying. A man ran past Astro frightenedly and Astro turned to watch him run away with a confused frown. What exactly had happened?! Even the peacekeeper couldn't have caused this much damage. "Do do do do ~ where are you robot boy?"

Astro let a gasp escape his lips as he turned and looked upward to where the sound seemed to be coming from. Suddenly the huge plane that had shot him out of metro city the first time came around a building and Astro took a slightly step back.

"Oh no." He muttered before a giant hand smashed the building the plane had flown around. The hand seemed to be carrying the wait of an enormous robot that bared little resemblance to the peacekeeper and it's eyes shone red.

"There you are." It said Pointing the ship at Astro and firing. Astro gave a frightened yell and took off.

Meanwhile

You raced to hamegg's and saw him packing up. And the only thought that crossed your mind was, 'Good riddance.' Then it struck you. The car you needed the car. You already saw Cora and the others standing in front of it. You ran over and barely heard the last of the conversation.

"Nope, just the car." Cora stated firmly.

"Well, I'd love to oblige you but-" Hamegg was cut off when Zog tore the roof off the car and pulled hamegg out. You ran over and jumped in and everyone stared while you started it up.

"How?" Zane managed to ask before you punched the gas.

"No time Astro first questions later!" You returned driving the car up to metro city.

With Astro

Astro flew away as the ship fired a laser after him. He did a back flip midair to catch his balance before looking back at the peacekeeper. A blue screen appeared before his eyes and it Zoomed in on the peacekeeper' s chest. It blinked then words appeared.

"Activate arm cannons." Read simply. Astro gripped the sides of his head panickedly.

"Ah wha-huh?" His arms turned into cannons and Astro's vision went back to normal. "Ha cool." He cheered before a smirk appeared on his lips and he shot both at the same time. This launched him backward but the cannons hit their target true. Though the blasts did little damage and it seemed to be equal to a punch in the face. The peacekeeper let out a roar and then took his aim.

Astro flew at the peacekeeper firing multiple shots from his arm cannons until the peacekeeper slammed a hand down on him. "Gotcha'." The giant cheered triumphantly before lifting his hand then gave a confused, "Huh" when a joke in the figure of Astro was all to be found.

Astro burst from the ground behind the peacekeeper and grabbed him by the back of his neck. He pulled up and flipped the giant on his head. To which the peacekeeper stood with a pant.

"This city elected me." He said punching a building next to him and absorbing it. "I own it!" He punched another building to his left and absorbed all that he could from that as well. "Its mine."

Astro gasped and his eyes widened in shock as the peacekeeper grew in size and stood even taller. But he charged in none the less firing more from his arm cannons but the blasts seemed to make no difference so Astro flew back. Suddenly an idea hit him as he glanced behind him for a second then called out.

"Hey I'm voting for the other guy!" He shouted while morning for the peacekeeper to attack him.

"Huh? Argh!" The peacekeeper roared in anger punching at Astro. To which Astro flew downward dodging the oncoming building as it fell hard on the peacekeeper successfully pinning him down. Applause and cheering sounded behind Astro and he turned with a smile. He gave a midair bow.

"Thank you. Anytime you need me." Suddenly the peacekeeper' s hand grabbed Astro tightly and Astro gave a startled shout as he kicked and struggled. The peacekeeper gave a laugh as it pulled Astro closer but at the last second machine guns fired from Astro's rear and it shattered the giant's eye. Causing him to release Astro and clutch at the eye. Astro took the time to right himself before looking at himself oddly.

"What?" He asked to no one in particular as the peacekeeper reached for a building.

"I got machine guns-" Astro began as he turned in midair. "In my butt?!" And then he heard a screech of metal behind him and his attention was returned to the battle at hand. He stared disbelievingly as the peacekeeper held a building like a baseball bat and reared back.

"You've got to be kidding." He uttered before the peacekeeper swung with a shout.

"Batter up!" The building struck Astro hard and blue rippled appeared as Astro flew back hitting building after building before sliding actions the pavement leaving a trail of torn up asphalt in his wake. "Home run!" The giant cheered.

Astro remained still for a second before he rebooted his hand twitching testingly. He opened his eyes in a wince and he struggled to move. He leaned up weakly and realized the peacekeeper walking towards him. Astro summoned all the strength he could to sit up a little more and crawl back aways.

His eyes widened as the peacekeeper rose it's foot above him but just as it was coming down a van zoomed past and you and Cora both leaned down, grabbed Astro by the arms and pulled him back up into the vehicle as it sped away.

"Astro." Cora said breathlessly and you touched his shoulder. Astro seemed to still be dazed but then realization mixed with relief and joy came to his eyes.

"Cora?" He asked with a smile and some part of you died a little. Astro chuckled and sat up and you leaned back.

"Ha ha thanks guys...hey wh-who's driving?" You all glanced at trashcan who was actually a good driver. He turned in his seat and barked at you. And in his lack of attention you headed straight for a building. Everyone screamed and trashcan quickly corrected his course. Then you nearly hit the peacekeeper and everyone screamed again. Till trashcan swerved. Astro made it up and rested his hand on the driver's seat.

"Trashcan faster!" He commanded. But trashcan couldn't reach the gas. Zane shoved him to the side slamming on the gas.

"Move over!" Everyone panicked as the car rocketed forward and the peacekeeper punched at you. You lost your footing and almost fell. Against the door which knowing the rickety old van it would have mostly likely come off with your weight and momentum.

"(Y/n)!" Astro shouted as he caught you around the small of your back and balanced the both of you by putting his left hand against the wall of the van and catching you both.

But the momentum had sent you back hard enough that when Astro caught you he misjudged his strength slightly. And you ended up with Astro's face just centimeters from yours with his right arm around the small of your back and his left holding both of your balance against the wall. Your hands had gone to his chest instinctively and your eyes locked.

Suddenly you both heard a loud explosion and looked out the window to see the peacekeeper hit the power generator that kept the whole city a float. Astro winced and pulled away you looked away closing your eyes. As the van flew clear of the city Astro realized he was still holding you when you shifted against him and released immediately. Sludge spoke up from the back window.

"Uh are we going up?"

"No the city is going down!" Cora cried panickedly.

You felt Astro's presence vanish and looked at him standing by the now open door.

"Cora. I have to take care of this." He said before flying off.

"Astro no!" Cora shouted and you both grabbed for him.

"Wait!" You cried but he was too far gone and sludge pulled you back while widget pulled on cora. Astro flew back towards the city at fill speed to finish this once and for all.
