"They were right. Alola does look nice in the evenings." I said with my Lucario by my side.

Lucario nodded. "I agree. This looks nicer than I imagined it."

We were sitting out here on a small cliffside, watching the sun go down as a native to Alola recommended it for us.

"I'm glad that we chose to stop here on our trip. Too bad we have to leave eventually."

"Yeah. I could get used to this pla-" Suddenly we both felt a weird spark of aura.

I looked at Lucario. "You felt that, too right?"

"Yes. It felt close."

"Well let's go find it."

Sun POV

"Nice job Lillie. That was way faster than yesterday." I said in acknowledgement.

We had continued her training from where we left off yesterday. We kept working on Aura Spheres, but we are making sure her time for making them was faster.

She was panting. Constantly making Aura Spheres was draining her. I could tell she needed a break.

"That was a huge improvement from when you started yesterday. But for now, you need a break. It's mine and Lucarios turn to practice now."

She looked up with more determination. "But I want to keep going."

I shook my head. "Lillie, if you keep going, you will burn out. If that happens you may kill yourself. Don't risk it."

"Alright. You win." She walked up and kissed me on the cheek. "But that doesn't mean I am done."

I turned to Lucario. "You ready?"

"Whenever you are." He said as we got into battle stance.

We rush towards each other. I launched an Aura Sphere, which he blocked with Bone Rush. He keeps rushing me and swings as he gets close. I dodge and backflip to kick his weapon, disarming him.

After that we rush and exchange punches and kicks, which we either block or we dodge. After a few misses, I predicted where he was going and landed a clean kick to his chest. He recovered quickly, and rushed with a punch that pushed me back a few feet.

Suddenly, I sense two auras in the background besides Lillie. It felt powerful for some reason. They were hiding in the trees.

"Looks like we have guests." I tell Lucario once we stop for a second.

"Yes we do. Why don't we greet them?" Lucario said.

We Launched a few Aura Spheres where we could sense them. As we did, they jumped out of their hiding place and avoided our attack.

It was a guy and his Lucario. The guy had a blue Pokeball cap with a Keystone on it. Underneath it, I saw he had jet black hair. He wore a red shirt with a Pokeball on it as well. He had black shorts and red shoes.

We read their auras real quick, and noticed that the guy had a completely dark blue aura with slight imprints of gold. We sensed the same on his Lucario.

"Not bad. You both must have pretty powerful auras in you to sense us like that." He said while smirking.

I formed an Aura blade as Lillie ran behind me. "Ok back up. I don't know who you are, but if they sent you here, you won't get out of here unscathed."

He held his hands up. "Woah woah. We don't mean any harm here. We sensed a bit of aura near where we were at, and we got curious."

I read his aura as best I could, and he was indeed telling the truth. I lowered by blade, but didn't get rid of it.

He sighed in relief. "Damn, that was close. My name is RJ. This is my partner, Lucario. We are from the Kalos region."

I narrowed my eyes. "Wait. Your RJ?"

"Yeah. Why?"

"You were the Kalos league champion for a while, right?

He tilted his hat. "Yeah. That's me. Now who are you two?"

Lillie stepped up. "My name's Lillie. This is my Boyfriend, Sun."

He chuckled. "Lovers. Ok I got it." He turned towards me. "Your name... You wouldn't happen to be the Alolan Champion as well, would you?" I nodded after ditching my blade.

"Well it's always nice to meet another Champion. Now if I may ask, what did you mean when you told us 'they' sent me?"

"Sorry. A group called Team Rocket has resurfaced and may be after me and Lillie."

He looked down for a second. "Damn. So that's what he's been doing for these last few years. Never would've thought...." He trailed off.

I looked at him with concern. "What are you talking about?"

He shook his head. "Sorry. You see, Team Rocket disbanded for several years after the police got files on every bit of their personal data. All high ranking members and grunts were arrested.

"However," He continued. "Giovanni, their leader, disappeared as soon as they shut down their operations. I assume that he has spent several years rebuilding Team Rocket to make a comeback."

"Wow. I didn't know that." I said in shock.

He looked up. "Don't worry about that now. I was watching you three training, and I thought I could help you guys. I am very experienced in aura, so I can teach you guys if you want any help."

I nodded. "Yeah. We could sense you had a powerful aura. Are you sure you want to help us?"

"Yes. Besides, I also want to battle you too, so this just makes this more fun for me while I'm here." He grinned.

"Ok then. I am fine with it. What about you guys?" I asked. They both nodded.

RJ smiled. "Perfect. Now Lillie, do you mind if I talk with Sun and Lucario alone for a little while?"

Lillie narrowed her eyes suspiciously. RJ laughed. "Don't worry, I'm not going to kidnap your boyfriend."

"Ok. Be careful Sun. I'll be at the house." She hugged me and then left.

He spoke to us through aura at that point. "Alright. Now for starters, I noticed you guys knew about the basic stuff for aura. You both have great Aura Sense, you can read thoughts and emotions, form Aura Spheres, and make physical objects."

We nodded. "I learned all of my stuff from Lucario." I gestured to my partner.

RJ smiled. "You have a good partner. However, there are a few things that neither of you know about. For starters, you can use your aura to enhance your physical abilities. For example, you can move faster, pick up heavier objects, stuff like that."

I gasped. I had never thought about that before.

"On top of that," his Lucario continued. "You can also use your aura to heal certain injuries. That skill can make you tired fast, but it definitely helps."

"So when will we be learning this stuff?" I asked.

"Tomorrow. Right now though, I want to battle you and your Lucario. You good with that?"

"Sure."

We all got on opposite ends of the area. Once we were all ready, we began the battle.

RJ took the first move. "Use Close Combat!"

"Block with Bone Rush."

RJ's Lucario charged head on and began to throw many punches and kicks. My Lucario managed to block all of them, and stagger his Lucario.

"Aura Sphere!"

"Stop it with Shadow Claw."

We launched 2 separate Aura Spheres, but they managed to cut them with Shadow Claw. An explosion occurred right behind them.

"Use Bone Rush." We both said at the same time.

Both Lucarios matched hit for hit, both blocking and dodging whatever swing from Bone Rush the other launched their way. It looked dead even right now. They both backflipped back to us.

RJ smirked. "This has been fun, but looks like we're going to have to end this soon."

I smiled too. "I was just thinking the same thing." I hit my Keystone. "Now Lucario. Respond to my aura. Mega Evolve!"

In a flash of light, my Lucario had changed into his mega form.

"Sorry about this Sun, but we have you beat this time. You ready Lucario?" His Lucario nodded. "Now. LET'S GO!"

In seconds, his Lucario had also Mega Evolved, but unlike ours, his is surrounded in a weird golden aura.

"I've got a bad feeling about this Lucario." I said in shock.

"So do I. But let's keep fighting."

"Alright. Now use Aura Sphere!" Lucario launched several Aura Spheres at RJ's Lucario.

"Dodge it."

Before we even saw him move, RJ's Lucario disappeared. He reappeared right behind us.

"Behind you!"

"Too late. Aura Sphere."

Lucario caught a point blank Aura Sphere to the back, and was launched several yards away. He still got up though.

"Stop them from moving. Use Psychic."

We managed to grab him with Psychic and toss him around some. However, he got up with seemingly no injury.

"Finish this with Bone Rush." RJ yelled.

He disappeared for a moment and reappeared right in front of us. He smacked him right on the head, knocking him to the ground. When the dust settled, my Lucario had swirls in his eyes.

My jaw was stuck open. "I can't believe that. How is that form possible..." I asked myself as I picked up my Lucario.

"We call it Syncro evolution." RJ and his Lucario walked up to us. "Its a transformation that occurs when a trainer and their Pokemon reach a crazy powerful bond. Once that happens, if they become fully in sync in battle, then they gain an unbelievable boost in power."

"Wow... that's crazy." I said in awe as I looked down. I still couldn't believe we got smacked around like that. Maybe I'm still not strong enough to protect her yet...

RJ noticed my look. "Don't beat yourself up about this Sun. You did better than a lot of people that face our Syncro form. After a bit of training, you guys will be able to take on anything. That's why I am choosing to help you."

I smiled. "Thanks. That was great experience for us RJ."

"No problem. I'll see you both tomorrow. And just to throw this in there, I am involving more than just aura training with you guys, so bring your other Pokemon as well." He began to walk away.

"Alright. See you later RJ." I called out.

Him and Lucario disappeared through the bushes.

After packing up, and taking my Lucario to the Pokemon Center, we went home to see my mother and Lillie eating Spaghetti for dinner.

Lillie saw me and came up to me. "Sun. What happened. I was close to leaving to try and find you."

I laughed. "Don't worry about it. Me and RJ just battled each other with our Lucarios."

"I assume you won, right?" She smirked.

I shook my head. "Not even close."

"What?" She looked shocked.

While eating, I explained what happened. As I finished she softened up some.

"Wow. I've only ever heard of a trainer and a Greninja being able to do that. Sounds powerful."

"Luckily for me, he said he wants to help train my pokemon as well as help us with Aura.

"Well that's nice. Maybe tomorrow I can show you all of the Pokemon I have besides Wartortle."

I smiled. "I would like that."

After eating, I felt tired so I turned in early. Lillie came with me to bed and after a kiss goodnight, we fell asleep instantly.

I think that came out alright. Shout out to RJ for letting me use his OC in this story. Anyways, Comment Question: which Pokemon would you want to Sync with you? I think I would go with Umbreon or Leafeon. I love the eeveeloutions, so I would love to be able to do that. Hope you all have a good day.
