*This is Sun's current team. I based it half on what I had on my playthrough and half on what I thought would fit the character

I did shiny hunt some before I finished the game so there was a shiny that I used in my playthrough. It wasn't lycanroc but I just personally like its shiny design. But that is his team currently*

It was such a simple morning. It felt so peaceful after the commotion and party over my achievement of becoming champion. However, that day turned out to be much less ordinary than any day I ever had on my adventure...

I hear someone burst through the front door while I was watching a Pokémon Contest take place. It was Hau and he was extremely out of breath.

"Sun come quick!" Yelled Hau. I could see tears forming under his eyes.

"Hau what is going on?" I asked, confused as to why he is acting like this.

"It's Lillie! She is leaving for Kanto!" Hau exclaimed with tears rolling down his cheeks.

This is not possible, I thought. How could she decide to leave just like that after I only became Alolan champion yesterday. Why are you leaving Lillie?

I immediately grabbed my ride pager and raced off with Hau. We both hop on our Tauros and charge full speed to the Marina. As soon as we get there, I see Lillie in her amazing Z-Powered form, with Kukui. I hop off my Tauros and we race full speed to where they were standing.

"Are you sure about this trip Lillie? Kanto is very far away from Alola, and if you are doing what you say you are, finding this... Bill person will take a great amount of time." Said Kukui.

Lillie turns toward him. "If I don't at least try to find him, then she may never be cured. He is the only one that could have any idea on how to remove the toxins from her body. I have to try. Plus, I can finally attempt to become a pokemon trainer, just like Sun."

"Lillie....why are....you leaving....so soon." I say as I almost collapse from the exhaustion of the running Hau and I did. "You...didn't even....tell us you....were planning on leaving."

She gasps as she turns turns around and sees both of us standing there.

"Sun! Hau! I am so sorry I didn't tell either of you." She says with widened eyes. "But I have to do this. If I don't, my mother may never recover."

"I understand Lillie, but I wish you would've stayed a bit longer before leaving on such short notice." Suddenly the boat calls out "We will be leaving for Vermillion City in 10 minutes. If you haven't boarded, you must very soon."

After the announcement concludes, I feel a pair of arms wrap around me , and I noticed it was Lillie. As I embraced her in a hug, I feel her bury her face in my chest. "I will miss you so much. Promise me you won't change too much while I'm gone Sun."

"I Promise Lillie. Just as long as you come back some day."

We broke the hug. "I definitely will. I will miss all of you."

She begins to board the boat. "Goodbye Lillie!" yelled the 3 of us.

"Goodbye!" She yelled back. As the boat was taking off, she waved goodbye for what felt like forever. And before I knew it, Lillie was out of sight.

A year and a half later....

I remember that day like it was yesterday. The day the one girl I love left to another region to begin her own adventure. As I sit on the marina just looking out into the sea, I can't help but think about her and what she might be up to right around now. I looked at my watch and noticed it was near 8 pm.

I flew back to my own house and walked in on my mom cooking some Spaghetti. "Oh, hello dear." She said as I walked in the door. "Are you ready to eat?"

"Yeah sure..." I say absent-mindedly. I was still thinking about Lillie.

She narrowed her eyes at me. "Hmmm. Let me guess. You have Lillie on your mind again, don't you."

Of course it was my mother, so naturally I wasn't surprised at her assumption. "Yeah. You caught me. I just wish she was back already. It's been over a year since she left and I haven't heard anything since she said she found Bill, and that was 8 months ago." I sat down at the table.

She hands me a plate of Spaghetti "I know how you feel sweetie. She means a lot to you. But without knowing where she is, you can't just go straight to Kanto and expect to find her in an instant. That and you are still defending your title."

"I understand mom. But I still can't help but miss seeing her every day." I eat up my Spaghetti surprisingly fast.

"Don't worry Sun. You'll see her again."

"Thanks mom. I think I am going to turn in a bit early tonight. I had a pretty exhausting day." I get up and walk towards my room.

"Ok dear. Goodnight."

I get dressed and climb into bed. As I lay there, I quickly become drowsy as my eyes begin to close by themselves. Before I fall into a deep slumber, I look through my window at the beautiful, starry night sky.

"Goodnight Lillie, wherever you are..."

So that was Chapter 1 of my Sun x Lillie fanfiction. Hopefully you guys enjoyed reading this. If you didn't, well I never said I was good at this. So tell me, what is your favorite shiny Pokémon. I would say mine is Latios cause I love the Teal color. I will try to set up the next chapter as soon as possible but I am going on a trip Tuesday. I'm not sure for how long though so don't expect too many posts for the first few weeks of this fanfiction. Hope you all enjoyed your day.
