Before I actually got into creating pieces, I was to make a glaze palate. It was also to get a feel for the clay, how it handles and such.

The class was allowed to make the palate into any (school appropriate) shape. We could use a stencil or wing it for any shape we wanted. I chose to do a flower. It would give six areas for glazes.
