Chapter Nineteen: Visitors
(Heeey guysss)
"What do you mean someone's coming over?"
Will had gotten off the phone with someone a couple minutes ago. He then said we were going to have some visitors. I was so confused. Did.. did he call Octavian? He did, didn't he? I've been too clingy lately. He's sick of me. He called Octavian to take me back to the shop and get his money back. I knew it.
It wasn't until I was suddenly wrapped in a hug and asked why I was crying that I realized I was crying. Will sometimes forgot how big he was compared to me. He had stood up while he was hugging me, leaving my feet dangling in midair. I didn't mind, since I knew Will wouldn't drop me. I sniffled, burying my face in the crook of his neck.
"'M sorry," I mumbled. "I'll be less clingy, I promise.."
"Clingy? What do you mean?" Will asked softly, now holding me with one arm and using his free hand to brush my hair away.
I turned my head away so he wouldn't see that I was still crying. I've been crying for much too long and I was starting to hope I'd run out of moisture in my body and will be physically unable to cry anymore. I was sick of it, yet once I start I can't seem to stop.
"After I saw Octavian. I'm sorry. It's not your problem I'm like this and I shouldn't make it that way.."
Will sighed, wrapping his other arm around me. "Don't talk like that, Nico. You probably went through a lot of things because of that ass. I don't mind helping you out. It's fine. I'm actually pretty happy you're acting clingy towards me. It means you trust me.."
"Of course I trust you," I said, lifting my head to look at him. "Why wouldn't I?"
Will shrugged. "I just.. appreciate it showing, that's all."
I frowned. Did he used to think I didn't trust him? The doorbell then rang suddenly. I jumped, instinctively latching onto Will's shirt. Will smiled at me a bit, before making his way to the door. He didn't put me down. To be fair, I never asked or made any sign that I wanted be be put down. Because I didn't.
I was assuming the worse. And apparently have been worrying for nothing. When Will opened the door, a purple haired girl and her tiny, black haired and beanie wearing friend walked in.
"Budsters?" I gaped as the other Neko grinned and waved at me.
"Thought you'd like to have someone over that can understand you more," Will said, smiling and setting me down. "I would love to try and figure out how to help you, but I just thought this would be an easier start.."
Kitty put Budsters down too. I glanced up at Will, gave him a small smile before Budsters dragged me upstairs. Weird, since this wasn't even his house. Oh well. It just felt nice to have my old friend over.
