      Mihawk went to check on Lydia. He was now getting concerned. Lydia was awake holding Buggy's ear.

"Are you alright, my dear?"

How Lydia knew him, she seen him in her village. They didn't talk or anything like that, but she admired him because he was like Robin Hood from her stories, she thought.

"I sense something is wrong with Buggy...like...Arlong did something terrible to him," she sniffled.

Mihawk sighed, "I fear Arlong have been torturing him. He may have even.....killed him. If he hasn't then he will only be keeping him alive to lure you into a trap, but he will be making Buggy suffer."

Lydia held the ear tightly. She began to cry again. Luckily Mihawk went up to her and brushed her tears away. He could see how close Buggy was to her and how much he mattered to her. "We had plans. He promised one day he would return for me and have me his first mate. My mother believed he would be a perfect match for me...but Arlong came and took me away before Buggy would return for me...I'm sorry I just...I love him so much. He literally save me from a horrible nightmare that lasted for a year..."

"You been through a lot, my dear, that's what makes you a strong young woman. Arlong is the most vicious most evilest creature across the ocean. And you are a brave girl."

"N-no, I'm not...he scares me. But it doesn't stop me to protect and save Buggy..."

"See, you said you are afraid, but it won't stop you from saving Buggy. Love is a very powerful thing, Lydia...it change someone. Your love for each other...makes you stronger and braver than you believe."

"...so...I'm still brave...even if I am afraid?"

Mihawk nodded.

"What if I fail?"

"With love, you cannot fail. We shall make sure we have a strategy. A plan to get him back. Focus on how much you want him back, how you want to build a future together and the plans you made. That will give you the strength you need to face your tormentor," Mihawk advised her.

Lydia thought it. It did make her want to save him. She looked at Mihawk tearing up and tried to smile. She then hugged him. Mihawk was surprised, but hugged her back slowly.

Suddenly they heard Sir Croc call out to him. There was trouble.

Mihawk rushed out and they saw a large wave coming towards his ship.

Lydia came out to see. Suddenly it jumped out. It was the shark.

"HOLD HER!" Mihawk yelled his crew to hold onto the ship once the beast landed itself on the end of the boat making it sink.

Lydia slipped, but grabbed a rope. Suddenly it broke off and she was screaming when she felt someone grabbed her arm for it was Mihawk, "Hang on, child. I've got you."

"Damn, Bruce!" Sir Croc growled. "He must've smelled her and escaped from her trap!"

"Be gone with you, shark!!" Mihawk yelled, "you shall not be taking her. Arlong may control you, but I serve no master and neither does this young lady!!"

The shark ignored him. One of the crew members slipped and got munched on the shark as he screamed.

Lydia looked away shaking. The shark then pulled him under.

The ship was now sinking faster.

"Luffy!" Sir Croc cried out, "She's going under! Help!"

"I got it!" Luffy called out, "hang on!"

Nami steered the Going Merry closer to them, but called to Sanji and Zorro to drop the anchor so they didn't hit the sinking ship and damage their own.

Luffy then attached a rope to the mast and threw it over and Sir Croc caught it.

Mihawk got up and pulled Lydia close with his arm around her waist. She squeaked when he pulled her. Sir Croc held the rope for his captain and Mihawk climbed on board while holding Lydia, but then the shark, Bruce rushed towards them, before he could snatch the princess, Anya came and jumped on his back and stabbed him in the back with her stick.

"Go, Anya!" Luffy cried happily, he then threw a line down for her to climb back on board with. For the lemur, she held tight for the shark plunged into the water missing Mihawk and Lydia. She wasn't going back on board, not yet. She then grabbed a dagger she held and dug it in deep the shark.

Mihawk then climbed on board and set Lydia down once Sir Croc was on board, Anya jumped on board shivering. She then shook her fur from the salt water. "I hope that slows him down."

The shark then circled back towards Luffy's ship now, but before he could break the ship, a canon hit him nearly hitting him. Everyone looked and it was none other then Alvida, her crew and...Lydia swore she could see Cabaji.

"Make sure we scare that beast!" Alvida ordered.

More canons were blasted making Bruce to swim fast for his life.once they came by Luffy's ship, Cabaji jumped on board and was greeted by a hug from Lydia, "you're ok!"

"Yes, thanks to Alvida. She received our message for help and she picked us up on Cactus Island. However, there's only myself, Mohji and Richie the lion left," he looked down sadly, "we searched for our captain, but found no trace of him. He can't survive in the water."

"I am the same," Luffy said, "that is why they call them devil fruits, because they take away your ability to swim and even just a few splashes stop our powers and make us weak."

Cabaji nodded sadly, "I fear that he might've drowned,"

"No, we believe Arlong has him," Mihawk said.

Cabaji turned even paler than he usually looked, "then that could be a fate even worse than death for him."

"Hey, no need for all the negativity," Luffy said cheerily, "we will get him back. And now there is even more to help!"

"Alvida will help, she and Buggy have a long history" Mihawk agreed.

"...oh...," Lydia then looked down once she heard Mihawk say that.

Cabaji sense she hurt. She was definitely thinking wrong about long history. They were just friends. Buggy didn't love Alvida like he does with Lydia.

Richie then came to him with a captain's hat in his teeth. Cabaji then remembered they did find his hat.

"I did forget...we did find his hat." Cabaji then handed it to her.

Lydia looked down at it tearing up. Remembering that night he saved her from Arlong. He placed it on her head smiling at her, "looks good on you. I always said you'd make a great pirate."

Lydia then broke down. Cabaji then teared up too because he loved Buggy like a friend and was loyal to him as his captain.

"Oh don't you start blubbering too," Mihawk said. He then hugged Lydia to try and comfort her, "take good care of his hat. Because he will wear it again once we have him back."

"I will...," she held tightly in her arms. She then buried her face in Mihawk's chest. She just missed Buggy dearly.

"Well, let's set sail and hurry," Luffy said.

"Oh so you're giving the orders now, kid," Alvida's voice came from the deck of her own ship, the Miss Love Duck.

"Uh, no, I respect you as a captain too, Alvida. We just need to hurry and rescue Binky."

"It's Buggy," Alvida replied, "how many times do you need to be told?"

"Let's just....get moving shall we?" Cabaji said "Lydia, Mojhi, Richie and I, we want our captain back."

Alvida then called orders to her crew and they started up the boat.

Luffy and his crew started their ship as well and both ships were heading to Big Top.

Mihawk sensed Arlong would take him there since it was closer. It was their only option since Arlong Park is too far out.

Cabaji turned to Lydia and rested his hand on her shoulder.

"He will be alright, Miss Lydia. Captain Buggy has been through tough times before, he always survives. And he will fight because of you."

Lydia wiped her tears when he said that. She then nodded. She just hoped now they weren't too late.

Once on land, everyone was quiet once they were close to Big Top headquarters.

Mihawk told Cabaji, Zorro, and Brook to guard and protect Lydia on their life just incase of the fish mutants come for her, or even Arlong himself.

"Alvida, you give us the word," Mihawk whispered. "If we need to fight. I will let Luffy, Sanji, and Usopp know when to move."

Once he noticed the guard walked around the back way, he motioned his finger for them to go. So Usopp, Sanji grabbed Luffy and they headed to the door. Luffy quietly then opened the door with his flexible hands and managed to open it. Once the guard came to the corner, Usopp shot a gas pellet at him causing him to knock out and then Mihawk whispered to everyone, "go go go."

Everyone then ran to the door. Security was tight but Anya and Nami took care of them. But once they were in the main room of the tent, no one was around.

"Buggy should be here!" Usopp said.

It was a trap all the mutants ran towards them to attack.

"NOW!" Alvida shouted

All the pirates began to fight against Arlong's crew. They knew they didn't have enough time left, but had to make the most of it to find Buggy.

Lydia had enough of this and ran off. Boofy, now the monkey named, saw and ran after her because the ones that suppose to be watching her, weren't.

Lydia ran down a hallway and opened every door she came across, "Buggy? Buggy!?"

She came to the last door which was the torture/green room. She shivered seeing box in the middle of the room. But something was on it under a sheet for it was shaking. Lydia went up to it and pulled it off. She was shocked seeing it was Buggy.

"Buggy?! Don't worry I will get out of here."

"NO! Get out before—"

She then jumped and squeaked hearing the door slammed behind them.

She heard a growl in the dark knowing it was Arlong.

"Hello, little girl, did you miss me?"
