"I guess that's a yes," he said in a murmur, I looked straight in his eyes and nodded. He held my hand on his arm as we strolled back to the front side of the room since we were at the backside, where I  was enjoying the beautiful view through the huge window, but I guess it was time to say goodbye.

We were able to reach to the front after passing through numerous couples. John waved goodbyes to almost half of the people at the party, and we were out, after he had spoken to the hosts of the party.

They had at least ten minutes' conversation before we exited the estate.

"Thanks for tonight, Princess," he murmured as we were already on our way to the hotel or lodge I don't know because he never said anything about where we were going to spend the night, I'm sure it was a surprise since he was always full of surprises.

"Thanks to you, It was beautiful I just hope Mr and Mrs party liked my gift," I said as I turned my head to look at him, he was smiling and running his left-hand fingers through his black silky hair.

He looked nervous, I wondered why.

"Are you alright" I asked with a glare as I studied his expression. "Huh! I'm ok babe, I'm alright, maybe a little bit tired" he said as he forced his smile.

(Is everything alright)

He turned swiftly to look at me then turned back to look at the road. "I'm sure they'll like it, I mean, why not, by the way, what did you give them, I'm just curious nothing much" he chuckled still trying to relieve tension.

I knew he was not ok, he looked nervous or maybe I was seeing things, I was tired myself so probably my tired brain was playing tricks on me.

"Well, I'll tell you because it's not a secret," I said, he grinned. then I started telling him what I bought for the couple who was celebrating their 10th anniversary.

"I bought them a picture frame with 10TH-ANNIVERSARY bold name on top of it, " he laughed.

"Why are you laughing," I asked with a fake sad face. "no! No, I'm not laughing. The gift sounds really great, not funny, so why would I laugh" he says all this with a big smile on his face. I laughed out loud when I realized that he was just trying to hold himself from laughing.

"I tried my best though, it's a gift after all and it better than nothing right?" I said as I giggled and pulling a shoulder. "Let's hope they like it, but I would though. Wouldn't you" he chuckled, I pulled a shoulder.

(I tried, if they don't like it that's their own cup of tea) I smiled a bit to the thought.

Well, we had more and more of laughter as we were driving to the mysterious place to spend our night at, I was curious but I didn't want to ruin the moment by ruining a surprise, because surely it was a surprise because he didn't tell me or even mentioned anything about it. So I  sat there and followed his lead.

Finally, we arrived at another breathtaking view after a few minutes of drive. We drove to one hotel called FOUR SEASON HOTEL in Westcliff  "and we are here, I know you were wondering where I was taking us, yep! here we are" he said joyfully.

Three months back, I remember the day when John and I spoke about romantic places we would like to visit around our city, and I told him that mine was FOUR SEASON HOTEL. And he brought me there, that was the most surprise ever.

(So he was planning to bring me here)

I was happy, delightful, overwhelmed mostly surprised.

(So he remembered, WOW)

My eyes were still stuck on the classy glowing building. I heard what he said but I was lost in the beauty of the place, so I didn't say a thing except for staring at the building, through the front window of the car than to him then to the building again, he kept a big joyful smile on his face as he watched me being amazed.

(This is beautiful)

He smiled and asked "do you like it" I turned back my head to look at him to see if he really meant his question. "what?" I frowned then continued "of course I do, oh my, this is beautiful" I hugged him and I felt his lips on my forehead kissing me.

A valet was already waiting before we got off the car. Once we were out he then took the car with him, obviously taking it to the valet parking.

(How fancy)

He led us to the entrance after doing the romantic routine, you know, opening the door for me and giving out his hand for me to hold as we both headed to the entrance. I must say, Two Love birds that can't get enough of each other.

(I will never get used to this)

Still holding hands we got inside after the big glass sliding door automatically opens for us and we were welcomed by one man in a black and white suit whom I think was a doorkeeper.

On my far left was a reception where John was leading us. He did all the hotel security purposes paperwork, then led us to the elevators, it beeped and opened then we walked in still holding hands.

Again giving each other small cute smiles and John kept kissing and squeezing my hand, kinda a little too much that night. And still he was not acting as he normally did, something was odd.

Not in a bad way but he was just acting unusual.

JOHN'S  P.O.V

When the elevator opened that was when I knew I was really nervous, the whole night at the party I tried hard not for her to notice.

(Get it together John, calm down)

I could feel my palms getting sweaty. Especially the one I was holding Emily with, a lot was going through my mind.

(I hope she likes it I just hope)

I looked at her and smiled, she returned the smile, her beautiful Brown eyes narrowed a bit, I just like how small they look every time when she smiles and her bright teeth appear.

(My princess)

The elevator door opened quicker than I expected and my heartbeat raised and that was when I realized how anxious I was about that night.

"Oh my! John, this place is beautiful," she said as she kept looking around the walls admiring the art paintings and all the pretty staff that were decorating the place.

(It is beautiful, I'm glad she likes it)

"I'm glad you like it, actually I'm amazed myself, it my first time here as well, I always wanted to come but only with a special person"

(And that is you, Emily)

I murmured trying not to say much. Before I spoiled the moment and the surprise I had for her, which was the reason I was anxious.

(I hope this goes as my expectations)

I snapped out of the thought when we were already in front of our hotel room door. I took out the key card lock, I  glanced at her excited face then back to the door as the light went blue, I slowly pushed it.

(Help me God)

Emily's P.O.V

John opened the door "ladies first" he said, then I stepped inside the room. My eyes widen as I was looking at the flower leaves of different colors sprinkled on the floor.

(oh! MY GOD)

They were carefully sprinkled in a row From the front doorway to the huge glass sliding door that led to a balcony.

"John, w- what oh, this, you planned all this? " I asked as my feet instantly froze with both my hands covering my mouth.

" you like it,  please just keep walking, follow the flowers," he said in a murmur his voice shaking a bit.

Was this the reason he was acting unusual the whole night? I wondered as I continue walking towards the opened huge door to the balcony.
