Okay so it's a literal blizzard outside...so why not spend the time to do this! So...I think I left off at the point where Laurance was left behind in the Nether.

Also, I think I'm going to drop the episode count because it'll just get too confusing.

So, Aphmau returns to Phoenix Drop, devastated. Zoey and "Rowan" are there to see her arrive and are immediately there to comfort her. Even though "Rowan" and Aphmau's relationship is strained at the moment, he's still willing to help which stands out to Aphmau. He rides off to go tell Cadenza and her father what happened while Zoey settles Aphmau down at home.
When "Rowan" returns, he says that Laurance's family is devastated as well but, in a lighter way as to not upset Aphmau more. She's at this moment just trying to stop crying and take care of Levin at the same time. I want to add in the detail that she struggles to handle motherly duties at first. I want this scene to be where "Rowan" and Aphmau forgive each other, agreeing to hear each other out on their views. Aphmau agrees to hear his advice while "Rowan" agrees to trust her more. I also want to add a bonus where "Rowan" helps with Levin and finally settles him down to sleep, warming Aphmau up a bit to him more. A LOT of chemistry in this scene as well. He also slips up and says that he had younger siblings, teaching him how to handle kids which he just brushes off as Aphmau asks.

Okay, now I also want a scene where Zoey asks Aphmau how she's doing. Aphmau says she's still in a stage of grief because of Laurance but, is a lot better now having Zoey and "Rowan" there for her. This makes Zoey smirk as she says something like; "You really seem to care about those two." To which Aphmau just shrugs, not really understanding what the meaning was. So, at this point, we set up the fact that Aphmau really cares about "Rowan", Zoey, and Laurance, considering them as her close friends.

Cadenza then arrives unannounced and brings a lot of books. This is where we're also maybe introduced to Emmalyn...I really don't know what to really do with her now that I think about it. I want Zoey to be the main smart, wise one in the group so...I guess she won't be introduced. Sorry Emmalyn fans. Just not doing it for me. So, Cadenza brings a whole lot of books about Shadow Knights and stuff like that, allowing Aphmau and her to research about them. She also brings up the Shadow War and more stuff about Irene. This research probably spans about one episode, just giving some plot device so that the audience knows what we're dealing with. It also gives hope that Laurance is still alive.

AND HE'S BACK! So, while Cadneza is still there, Ungruth breaks through the dimension and brings back Laurance, killing him in the process. He's unconscious when he first arrives, in the Shadow Knight armor and all that jazz, everyone just relieved that he's okay. When he comes too, of course, he doesn't have his sight which is concerning. Historically, people who were blind were usually outcasted by society. Let's bring that in shall we? So Laurance can't do his job. Great. Cadenza and him are pretty upset about it and she worries how Meteli would react to seeing him this way, knowing that his reputation wasn't that squeaky clean to begin with. So Aphmau and "Rowan" offer for him to stay here while they figure something else out for him.
I also want to add the first soft Laurmau scene where, Aphmau holds his hand, crying saying that she's so sorry that this even happen to him in the first place. He assures her that there was nothing she could do and he's just thankful she didn't have to go through the process herself, knowing what happens to Shadow Knights transitioning.

Anyway...let's bring Nicole in shall we? So, Nicole is already set up to be in line for Scaleswind's lordship so when she hears that two other women are in the running as well, she goes to Phoenix Drop to ask for their alliance since O'Khasis is still pretty mad about maybe a guard of their's killed their heir...hmmm...
So she arrives, giving Aphmau a gift of Irene's statue made by some famous artist in the area that Cadneza is impressed by. She offers an alliance with Aphmau from her father, since she has already improved the life of citizens in Phoenix Drop so much so that some of her villagers are moving there. Aphmau accepts, of course not really knowing how serious this is to be honest. Nicole though, catches sight of "Rowan" and is a little thrown off by him. Everyone is a bit confused as to why but, Nicole and "Rowan" just brush it off as he looked like someone she knew. But, she does borrow him for a minute, saying that she would like to be escorted to her guest room by him.

The others on the other hand, set the statue on top of that hill thing outside the plaza (you know the one) and Laurance decides to get some fresh air with Cadenza and go to see it. His vision is cleared by the power of Irene and everyone is happy! Yay! Of course, there's still the fact that Laurance is now a Shadow Knight so everyone is still hesitant to send him back to Meteli. But, he sees now and Cadenza decides to give him a makeover of course to match his new found sight!

While their off, Nicole and "Rowan" come back, Nicole being satisfied with her room. And this is where I want two villagers who were there to see the statue ask Aphmau if she could help them plan their wedding.

So finally the wedding episodes! Some quality season 1 content! But, let's change a few things here and there!

So the two villagers are really excited because they got the best priest from O'Khasis to come! Zane Ro'Meave!

Zane —> Okay so, I'm gonna give him a little bit more of a different backstory. So, Zane's motivation isn't just power in this anymore. Pft! That's boring! He wants the Irene Relic because he heard there's a chance to resurrect the dead from it. And who's dead? Why, it's Vylad and Garroth of course! So, he wants to bring Garroth and Vylad back because he sort've regrets not having a good relationship with them. So his whole killing and destruction spree is because he wants his brothers back! Aw! So cute right? Besides that, he's pretty much the same!

So, when "Rowan" hears this, as well as Nicole, they seem to get nervous for more reasons than one. You see, Nicole knows it's Garroth and after lecturing him on the fact that he tricked everyone into thinking that a Scaleswind guard killed him and him telling her the reason why he did it, they cool now and sort've have this secret attachment. Now this, my friends, is where I want Aphmau to get a little jealous because she's like "beech, that's my guard!" But, she can't worry about that right now because there's a wedding to arrange! Nicole decides to stay to help as well and try to get closer to Cadenza and Aphmau for that alliance thing.

Anyway, Laurance is looking like the iconic man that he is and Aphmau is actually thrown off by how attractive he looks...redhead hater apparently. Idk. Sure his personality is nice but, oh Irene is he hot or what?! That's the thing, I actually want Aphmau to have some sort of romantic feelings towards Garroth and Laurance so that later, it'll be harder for her to choose between either them or Aaron...who is not introduced yet so hold on!

While she's getting closer to Nicole though, she figures out how dangerous O'Khasis really is and how the Lord (Garte) is power hungry after his son died. Zane isn't much better either, which freaks Aphmau out but, she's okay knowing that she has a very capable Guard to protect her!

Except "Rowan" doesn't want to come to the wedding. Aphmau of course is really confused and a little hurt that he doesn't want to come but, Nicole defends him saying that he should be able to take a break. Aphmau is still a little upset but, let's him go right before Zane arrives. He immediately sends off red flags with her. He's very full of himself which nobody really appreciates and maybe there's a problem with the rooming situation that sets him off or something. So yeah, not a great first impression.
So Aphmau has to deal with the fact that she's already not on O'Khasis' good side and her guard isn't even there to help. That's when Laurance steps up to the plate and takes "Rowan's" place temporarily. She really appreciates it, saying something like "it's great to have a guy like you around" or whatever. Super sweet is what I want to display.

Another two people who are introduced into the mix when Zane arrives though are his two "free of charge" guards. Lady Katelyn and her squire Nana.

Katelyn —> Katelyn is going to have a bit of different story. Jeffory, sorry but, is not going to be apart of the story. I was never a big fan of that plot and it really just slowed plot and Katelyn's character arch in my opinion. She never really got over him and his daughter Abby was completely forgotten about by season 3. So, what's Katelyn like now? Well, my friends...I want her to be the same personality but, her goal is to become a guard. I don't want her to be a guard yet, as to be a little bit more historically accurate. Lords can still be women but, being a women guard is a lot harder to accomplish. So, she basically is just this person who tries her best to prove herself even if it damages some things along the way. Think of Brienne of Tarth from Game of Thrones!

Nana —> so yeah...I cut out the maid cafe. I'm so sorry. Wasn't for me. But, I want her to be Katelyn and everyone's cheerleader so to speak. I also want to keep her healing magic, making her a excellent squire. She's still super sweet and supportive and just wants to be the best friend everyone needs.

So, the two of them are introduced to Aphmau and this is what mainly ticks her off about Zane. He doesn't treat them or pay them like actual guards even though they are doing the same work as the others. This is when she starts to not trust him, slowly but surely starting to dislike him completely.

"Rowan" is still out and Laurance jumps into the role of head guard perfectly. He still shows Zane around even though he gets red flags from him too. Aphmau decides to house Katelyn and Kawaii~Chan in some extra rooms in the guard quarters, stopping by "Rowan's" room to check up on him. He's in his room, sulking, making Aphmau even more confused as to what's going on. They have a small argument, nothing too crazy but, I want it to show that Aphmau really cares for "Rowan" and wants him to be there. I also want to see "Rowan" internally debate with himself, showing the audience that he wants to go as well but, can't for a mysterious reason! Ooo~

So anyway, not much really happens before the wedding. Just a few scenes slowly progressing Aphmau's hatred for Zane and maybe a cute scene where Laurance and her joke while setting up.

So, the wedding comes, and it's beautiful of course. Everything was running smoothly and even Aphmau can see why Zane was so highly regarded. I just want Zane to have some redeeming qualities, like he may be a jerk but, he really is a talented and hardworking guy. So like...Draco Malfoy...? Idk. I never read or watch Harry Potter😂

So the ceremony goes off without a hitch and the reception rolls around. Laurance decides to ask Aphmau to dance, which she accepts. Laurance really asks her to dance to, yes impress her but, he also notices how sad she looks. He knows it was because of "Rowan" and he just wants her to relax. So instead of some romantic song or dance, they really just do that goofy dance where they laugh and goof off for a good couple of minutes having playful banter.

Laurance at this point in the story, has a genuine small crush on Aphmau but, nothing too serious. Aphmau may have one as well but, the beginning of the show I really just want "Rowan" and Aphmau to be the main relationship to hopefully ignore a toxic shipping war. DONT WORRY THOUGH! LARMAU IS COMING! AS WELL AS AARMAU JUST BE PATIENT! (We need to appreciate all ships🥰)

Annnndddd...boom! "Rowan" walks in, Laurance smirking towards him as if to say that he was slightly proud of him. Aphmau turns and is immediately thrilled to see him. Before rushing over to him, she thanks Laurance and asked politely if she could go see him. He says of course and says something like; "I was just stalling for him." You know. Bros supporting bros.

Aphmau runs over to him, maybe hugging him tightly. "Rowan" without a helmet on, is also equally as excited, impressed on how this whole thing played out. Aphmau maybe teases him but, it's not important. She notices though "Rowan" glancing every once and a while to Zane who hasn't seen him yet, looking nervous. She suggest that maybe they could go somewhere else but, "Rowan" insists that they go dance for at least one song since he owed her one for being a jerk.

They dance all romantically and stuff like that, Zoey and Laurance being the absolute bomb cheerleaders in the corner. Nicole is even secretly helping by distracting Zane. After the dance, maybe the two lock eyes and share a romantic longing gaze. Super sweet you know. Aphmau still sees though that Zane is stressing "Rowan" out for some reason, causing her to now insist that they go somewhere else to talk. "Rowan" agrees and the two head to the docks or something.

This is the scene where it shows the audience they improved in this season. Rowan and Aphmau came to understand their feelings, compromised and heard each other out.

The moon is full and lit brightly as the stars twinkled softly.

"M-M'lady," Rowan said, clearing his throat afterwards trying to find words. "I-I wanted to thank you for all that you've done for Phoenix Drop for almost the past year now...it's been amazing to see how you've improved this place."

Aphmau smiles warmly at him, a small blush appearing on her face as she said; "It's my pleasure Rowan...it makes me happy to know that I'm helping others. I'm also just glad I got to meet Zoey, Laurance, Cadenza...and you."

I know this is cheesy but just hold on for a second! The two stare off onto the horizon, the moon making the ocean sparkle. They slowly reach for each other's hand, their fingers grazing for just a moment. It's perfect. The setting, the lighting, the mood...they turn to each other again before holding their hands completely. With both their eyes glittering with pure joy, they lean in their lips touching in a loving kiss. They both part, hearts beating rapidly. They were happy...

"Well...it's nice to see that you've made yourself comfortable here...brother."

Zane is at the end of the dock. Aphmau and "Rowan" snapped their heads towards him, the blonde protectively standing in front of his Lord. Though, he felt weak at this moment for letting his five year lie finally catch up to him.

"W-What do you mean?" Aphmau asked, unsure of what exactly what was going on. The raven-haired man smirks as he looks at his pathetic brother, saying; "You didn't tell her. Interesting...well, Lord Aphmau let me explain. You see, your head guard "Rowan" here...is actually my dead brother. Garroth Ro'Meave."

It's a shock for the whole audience, Aphmau looking at him with wide eyes. There would be dramatic music playing or something, panning at all three characters and their drastically different reactions, it landing on Garroth's face as the screen goes black before credits roll!!

End of Season 1

So yeah! That's how I would do season 1. I would cut it in half. Set up the Shadow Knights, the characters, conflict between the villages, and really just show the audience the world they are in.

So yes. That's season 1. Sorry it took so long to write a part 2 to this but, I needed time to figure everything out. I hoped you enjoyed nonetheless!;)
