Mrs Y/N Holland

~One year later~

Blood rushed through my ears, the sound of the liquid flowing through my veins somehow the only thing that I could hear, or at least the only sound that my brain could process. Butterflies fluttered viciously in my stomach, making me sure that I would be sick at any moment. Drops of saltwater pricked my eyes and blurred my vision as I stared at my reflection in the full-length mirror. I bit my lip, feeling beyond nervous as I stood there, staring at the mermaid-style wedding dress that hugged my figure perfectly. My curled hair fell over my shoulders and down my back, the overlay of my wedding veil and the tiara that sat on top of my curls making me look like I'd always wanted to on my wedding day.

"Oh my goodness." I turned around and gave Nicki a nervous smile as she stood at the door.

"Do I look okay?" I gulped.

"Honey, you look absolutely stunning, wait until Tom sees you." She gushed, smiling at me as she walked into the room. I returned it and nodded, wiping away the tears that had fallen whilst trying not to ruin my makeup at the same time.

"Are you okay, love? Why are you crying?" she chuckled slightly. I shook my head and looked at her.

"I just...you have no idea how long I've waited for this moment. With Tom specifically. Honestly, I can't tell you how long I've loved him for, let alone just liked him. And I never thought that this day would come with him. I never thought that we'd align properly." I nodded. She gave me a sympathetic smile and gently rubbed her hand up and down my arm.

"Trust me, Y/N, it was always going to come for you and Tom. I remember him telling me when he was just ten that he had a crush on you. I didn't think anything of it at the time, since you two were so close, and were only children at that point, but then you grew up, and I watched him look at you with love like I've never seen before in his eyes. You're his soulmate, Y/N." she nodded. I bit my lip, tears leaving my eyes at her words.

"And he's mine, Nicki. God, he's mine." I smiled, shaking my head. She chuckled and gave me a hug, me returning it tightly.

"Anyway, I was actually sent to come and get you. We're ready to start." She nodded.

"Then I'm ready to get married." I smiled. She returned it and squealed, making me laugh as I followed her out of the room.

I stood at the doors to the ballroom in which Tom and I were getting married, taking deep breaths as my bridesmaids did last-minute touches to my veil and adjusting how my dress fell. I looked to the side and smiled as Harrison walked towards me in his tux.

"Well don't you look smart?" I chuckled, hugging him as he kissed my cheek.

"I'm the one who should be saying that. Y/N, you look beautiful. Absolutely beautiful." He smiled. I returned it, tears pricking my eyes.

"Thank you, Haz. That means the world to me." I nodded. He returned it.

"Anyway, Tom beat me to it, asking you to be his best man before I asked you to walk me down the aisle, so you better go and be with my worse half." I teased, making him laugh.

"I'm going, I'm going. But would you really have asked me to give you away?" he asked. I looked at him.

"Of course, Haz. I mean, I knew that Tom wanted to ask you, so I let him have it. But if he wanted to ask one of his brothers instead, I would have asked you. You're my brother, Harrison." I nodded. He gave me a small smile and looked down, making me chuckle as it was clear that he was trying not to cry.

"I love you too." He nodded, making me smile as he kissed my cheek again before slipping through the doors into the ballroom.

I stood on the dancefloor with Harrison, laughing as he dramatically swung us from side to side on the dancefloor as Tom danced with his mum.

"Stop it!" I laughed, holding Harrison's shoulder and one of his hands as his other hand cupped my waist.

"Stop what?" he grinned, continuing to dramatically sway us. I laughed more, shaking my head and resting it on his shoulder as the song came to an end.

"Time for food, I think." I nodded as everyone started to move back to the tables. I sat down, making Tom smile at me and take my hand as I did.

"Nice dance with Haz?" he chuckled. I rolled my eyes playfully and lightly slapped his chest, making him smirk and squeeze my hand as Harrison stood up.

"Alright, alright, everyone settle down, it's time for the best man's speech, which is lucky for all of you lovely people because it means that you get to hear my lovely voice for ten minutes." He smiled, making everyone chuckle and laugh.

"God, where to start with these two. Most of you won't know this, but they've been hopelessly in love for the last twenty years. Yet, they've only been together for five, so I'll let you work out the maths of that situation, and how awkward that made the friendship." He nodded. Everyone laughed, making Tom and I roll our eyes playfully at our best friend.

"So, for those of you who don't know the families as well, Tom, Y/N and I all grew up together. The three of us were inseparable from an early age, and soon enough, Tom and I were like brothers and Y/N was like a sister to me. Tom and Y/N claimed to also have a sibling-like relationship, but even back then, it was clear to me, and everyone else for that matter, that the love in their eyes for each other wasn't that kind of love. It was a better love, a soulmate love." He spoke, looking at us. I gave him a small smile, tears pricking my eyes at his loving words as Tom smiled at me.

"So, the years went by, Tom was cast for "The Impossible" and then "Edge of Winter", and before we knew it, he had been cast for the biggest role of his career, Spiderman. Obviously, Y/N and I were over the moon for him, and whilst we knew that it meant temporarily splitting up the three amigos, we told him to go for it, and he did. That's when I started to suspect that Y/N not only loved Tom but was really in love with him. She waited and waited, and had eyes for no one else." He continued. Tom looked at me and smiled, making me chuckle and look down.

"I feel like I'm being exposed." I teased quietly.

"It's beautiful." Tom returned, gently kissing my head before looking back at Harrison.

"I soon saw the same love in Tom's eyes when he looked at Y/N. The two of them could be in a room full of people, and he'd only look at her. The same went for her. I've never seen so much love between two people as I've seen between my two best friends." He smiled. I bit my lip, a tear leaving my eye at Harrison's words.

"Usually when you have a group of three best friends, it's the third guy's worst nightmare when his two best friends start dating, but for me, I couldn't have been happier, and my heart still fills with joy to this day to see them making each other happy. I'm sure that everyone truly believes that the couple sat in front of us today are soulmates and that they belong together." He spoke before looking directly at us as he clutched his glass of champagne.

"I love you two with all of my heart, and I know that you'll treat each other the way that you both deserve to be treated. I know that you'll be safe and happy with each other, and that's enough for me. I love you guys." He nodded before raising his glass. We raised our glasses too, me wiping a tear that had fallen as everyone took a drink. Suddenly, mine and Tom's song started to play, making him look at me.

"I think that that's the cue for our first dance." He smiled as he stood up and extended his hand to me. I took it happily, returning my new husband's smile as he walked me to the dancefloor, everyone else just watching us contently. Tom pulled me into his body, making my smile widen as he curled his arm around my waist and held my hand in his spare one as we gently swayed to the music.

"You know, sweetheart, I don't think that I've ever been more in love with you than I am right now." He spoke softly, looking at me with pure love in his eyes.

"You're just saying that because you know that you're getting laid tonight." I teased.

"Darling, don't kid yourself, I get laid every night." He returned, gently nipping my earlobe. I gasped and gently slapped his chest, making him laugh as he pulled me back into his arms.

"Seriously though, sweetheart. Ten years ago, hell, five years ago, if I'd been told that the girl I was hopelessly in love with would end up being my wife and the mother of my beautiful daughter, I'd have laughed in their face and then would be a little upset thinking that it would never happen. So, the fact that I'm now sharing my first dance as a married man with you, married to you, I've never been happier." He shook his head. I bit my lip and smiled at him.

"I love you, Tommy. So much." I whispered.

"I love you too, sweetheart." He returned, giving me a small smile before leaning down and joining our lips.

I stood in the ballroom where Tom and I had gotten married and had had the reception, looking around the beautiful room as I sipped my glass of champagne, my wedding dress still on my body and my veil still in my hair.

"There you are, darling." I turned around and smiled as Tom walked into the massive room.

"Lizzy okay?" I asked.

"Yeah. I gave her a bottle and then put her down to sleep in mum's room." He nodded.

"Why is she in your mum's room?" I chuckled.

"Because everyone knows what the bride and groom do on their wedding night, and funnily enough, I don't want our daughter in the room for that." He teased, making me roll my eyes at him and chuckle. He bit his lip at me as he gently took the glass off of me and put it onto a nearby table before curling his arms around my waist.

"What?" I asked, smiling as I hung my arms over his shoulders and he just stared at me contently.

"I just love dancing with my beautiful wife." He whispered. I bit my lip as he gently moved a strand of hair out of my face, his hand moving back to my waist to sway me to the non-existent music. I closed my eyes, pure bliss filling my body as I rested my head against Tom's shoulder, making him kiss my head.

"Today has been perfect. I don't want it to end." I admitted quietly.

"I know you don't, but it has to. And that's okay, because it'll end, and our life as a married couple will begin." He nodded.

"Tommy, as much as I hate to admit it, we both know that we'll never get a day this perfect again." I sighed.

"Well, why not? We can dance like this as much as we want to, we can include Lizzy too because I'm definitely teaching my daughter how to dance. And as for the sex that we're about to have, we both know that that's not going to stop anytime soon." He teased, making me giggle.

"I'm serious, babe." I insisted.

"So am I, darling. Sweetheart, we've pretty much been in the honeymoon phase since we started dating, five years ago. I'm not going to let that end just because we're now married." He promised. I nodded and gave him a small smile.

"Thank you, Tommy." I smiled. He nodded and returned it before gently taking my face and pressing our lips together. I returned it, tangling my fingers into his hair as his hands moved to my waist. I smirked as Tom deepened the kiss before briefly breaking it.

"Now, darling, how about we go and consummate our marriage?" he whispered, hovering his lips over mine.

"Way to ruin the mood." I giggled.

"Trust me, darling," he started, making me squeal as he swiped my legs from underneath me and picked me up bridal style.

"Nothing is going to ruin the mood." He smirked. I laughed and nodded, joining our lips again as he carried me out of the room.
