Feelings start to show

Harrison and I walked onto the set for Tom's latest Spiderman movie, looking around as we went.

"This is so cool." I gawped as I looked at the set that seemed to depict a train carriage.

"Hey, guys!" I turned around and my eyes widened as Tom walked towards us. My throat dried as I drank in his appearance of his black Spiderman suit that was meant to be how Peter didn't get recognised as Spiderman in Europe in the movie. The suit was padded, making him look even bigger and the fabric was tight around his arms, accentuating his muscles. My knees weakened further at his makeup of dried blood and dirt, making him look rough and beaten up, but I liked it. That, added to his messy yet still extremely sexy hair, made me want to confess my feelings for him there and then.

"You look rough, mate, who beat you up?" Harrison teased as Tom hugged both of us.

"Ha, ha. You guys are just in time to see me getting hit by a train." He nodded.

"Ouch." I chuckled, making Tom smile and shake his head as he gently kissed my forehead.

"Tom, you ready?" one of the Russo brothers yelled from the set.

"Yup." He returned before looking at us.

"See you guys, soon." He smiled, giving my hand a small squeeze before jogging off to the set. I bit my lip and followed him with my eyes, his back flexing perfectly in the suit.

"Mate, can you learn to not drool over our best friend, please?" Harrison chuckled.

"Shut up, Harrison." I grumbled, making him smile as he ruffled my hair. We headed to the side of the set, giving Zendaya and Jacob smiles as we sat down next to them.

"Hey, how you guys doing?" Jacob asked.

"Not too bad. We're enjoying LA." Harrison nodded.

"Great. Hey, Y/N," Zendaya started, making me look at her. She leaned in as she looked at me.

"Don't you think that Tom looks really hot?" she smirked, raising her eyebrow at me. I looked at her.

"What's your game here, Z?" I asked.

"Nothing, nothing at all, just trying to get one of you to admit your feelings for the other." She shrugged as she sat back properly in her seat. I looked at Harrison to see him looking straight at the set, but the smirk that he was trying to suppress told me that he was purposefully avoiding looking at me.

"You put her up to this?" I asked.

"No clue what you're on about, mate." He shook his head. I rolled my eyes and looked back at the set.

"And...ACTION!" one of the Russo brothers yelled. On cue, Tom stumbled onto the set of the train carriage, choking and looking beaten up as he stumbled in. He fell down onto one of the rows of seats and pulled his black mask off, his breath shallow and his eyes closed as he pretended to be struggling to breathe. I gulped, trying not to think about how good he looked with dirt and blood smeared on his face and his hair messy. Tom continued to breathe shallowly before his body went limp, his head lulling to the side as Peter had to be knocked out.

"And cut! Great work, Tom, brilliant!" one of the Russo brothers shouted. Tom's eyes immediately opened, and he got up before walking off of the set and towards us.

"How was I?" he smiled as Harrison and I stood up.

"You know that you were amazing." I returned as I hugged him.

"I don't know, I could do better." Harrison teased, making Tom smirk as he ruffled Harrison's hair.

"You guys want to come back to my trailer? I have sandwiches and stuff." He shrugged.

"Sure, sounds good." I smiled. Tom returned it and took my hand, Harrison following behind as we headed to Tom's trailer. He opened the door and let us in, my eyes widening as I looked around the space that was very nice for a trailer.

"Damn, Tom, they treat you well, don't they?" Harrison chuckled, looking at the plush sofa and all the food that was in the cupboards.

"To be fair, I bought all of the food myself." Tom nodded.

"Yeah, with your million-pound paycheck from Marvel, don't try to cover up the fact that you too are a hot-shot movie star." I teased, making Tom smirk at me.

"Oh, man, you don't have any beers." Harrison sighed.

"Go find Jacob, he has a shit ton in his trailer." Tom nodded. Harrison returned it and nodded as he opened the trailer door and left, the door shutting behind him.

"You still look like shit, by the way." I chuckled, popping a grape into my mouth. Tom's eyebrows furrowed and he raised a hand to his cheek, looking at it as it was painted red and brown from his makeup.

"Crap, I better go see the makeup artist, I'm going to break out if I keep it on for too long." He sighed.

"Since when do you break out?" I scoffed.

"Since I have to wear makeup every day for my job." He returned. I chuckled and shook my head as I grabbed a pack of wipes from my bag.

"I'll do it for you." I nodded as I went to him. He looked at me.

"I don't know, it's a pretty tough job. Our makeup artist has a makeup design degree from Yale." He smiled, making me chuckle and shake my head as I pushed his shoulders down, making him the same height as me as he leant against the counter, his legs spread out across the width of the trailer. I stood in between them, Tom's hands finding my waist and him looking at me intently as I started to wipe the makeup off of his face. I moved the makeup wipe across his skin, the smears of red and brown coming off of his otherwise white skin.

"You're cute when you're helping get the makeup off of me." He chuckled, making me smile and blush as Tom's hands curled further around my waist, bringing me flush against his body. His smile dipped slightly, and he looked at my lips as he gulped.

"Y/N, I want to talk to you about something. Something that I-I should have said a long time ago." He nodded. My eyebrows furrowed and I lowered my hand.

"You okay, Tommy?" I asked. He nodded, gulping again as he looked into my eyes.

"I-erm...I..."

"Okay, so I got two beers for Tom and I, and a mixer in a can for Y/N." I immediately moved out of Tom's arms, making him sigh as the door opened and Harrison walked in, two bottles and a can in his hands. He looked between us.

"Sorry, did I interrupt something?" he asked.

"N-no. You didn't." Tom mumbled, shaking his head as he walked into the living room of his trailer and sat down. Harrison looked at me and raised an eyebrow, making me sigh and shake my head at him. He returned my sigh and nodded as we both sat down next to Tom and opened the drinks.

I sat on the floor by one of the tall windows in the room that I was staying in, in Tom's apartment, staring absentmindedly outside as the rain pelted against the glass.

"Y/N? Y/N? Oy." I hissed as pain swept through my ear, making me turn my head and look up to see Harrison stood there.

"You alright? I had to flick your ear to get your attention." He chuckled as he sat opposite me on the grey carpet, putting his long legs next to my shorter ones.

"Sorry, I was thinking about Tom." I mumbled, my gaze moving outside again. Harrison sighed and nodded.

"You think about him a lot, huh." He spoke. I nodded, biting my lip as I looked at him.

"Yeah, and not in ways that I should." I admitted. His eyebrows furrowed at me.

"What do you mean?" he asked.

"Well, whenever I think about you, I think that I love you, but like a brother, like my best friend who's always there for me. And I know that I should also think of Tom as a brother, because that's probably how he sees me, like a sibling, but I see him as the guy that I love instead. As a potential future boyfriend." I shrugged.

"What makes you think that he sees you as a sister and not as a potential future girlfriend?" he asked. I looked at him.

"Have you seen us, Haz? He's Tom Holland, hotshot new kid on the block who's doing so well for himself, and I'm just average. And I know that you and Tom love me for that, but why would Tom ever love me in that way? I'm just...me." I sighed.

"Well, you'll never know if you don't talk to him." Harrison replied. My eyes widened.

"Are you taking the piss? No, no way." I scoffed, shaking my head and making Harrison roll his eyes.

"Hear me out, Y/N-."

"No, Harrison, I won't, I'm sorry. I've been best friends with him for twenty years. For all I know, he may have seen me as a sister for twenty years, I'm not risking my friendship with him over a stupid crush." I scoffed.

"Y/N, be honest with yourself, it's way past just a crush now, we both know that. And you'll never know if you don't talk to him. I'm not saying that he feels the same way, but I'm also not saying that he doesn't. What's the worst that could happen?" he chuckled.

"I make our friendship super fucking awkward and he never speaks to me again." I nodded, making Harrison smile and shake his head.

"I don't think that you're giving Tom enough credit on this. He loves you, I'm sure that he'd be chill about it if you talked to him and he didn't feel the same." He nodded. I sighed, looking briefly out of the window again.

"I just don't know what to do, Haz. I want to be with him, I love him for fucks' sake, but I'm not going to put my friendship with him on the line on the off chance that he feels the same." I choked. Harrison sighed, looking at me with sympathetic eyes.

"We leave tomorrow. I think that you should give him until then to make a move, or at least say something. You guys have been flirting the entire time that we've been here, if he hasn't taken the hint by now, I don't think he ever will. If he doesn't make a move, I hate to say it, but you need to think about moving on." He admitted. I looked at him.

"What?" I choked.

"Look, Y/N, I love you, mate, but you've been so obviously in love with him for as long as I can remember, yet he still has yet to realise it. Maybe he never will, and you shouldn't let that stop you from finding someone else." He sighed, gently rubbing his hand up and down my calf in reassurance. I gulped and looked down.

"As much as I hate to admit it, I think that you're right. Okay, if he doesn't say anything before we leave, I move on." I nodded.

"I think that that's the right call." Harrison reassured, leaning forward and gently kissing my head. I sighed and closed my eyes, hoping to god that Tom would say something before we left.
