Jin's POV
18h30
"Baby, wake up." I whispered into Iseul's ear.
We'd fallen asleep after our first official day spent as a new couple together.
It was a blissful euphoria being with Iseul. Not just physically, but the connection we have is rare. Every moment I spent with her, here in Canada, has been special.
My heart feels full.
Even when we both worked together, I cherished our time together and would even free up my time to look for her.
"Hmmmmm... let me sleep oppa." She muttered into my pillow.
"Okay baby." I say to her, kissing her forehead.
There was something so satisfying about having my girlfriend sleeping next to me, even if all we'd ever done so far was make out and fall asleep while cuddling.
I changed really quickly, into some casual clothes after a shower and made my way downstairs, making sure she was alright before I closed the room door.
I walked into the kitchen to make Iseul something to eat as it was almost dinner time. Yoongi had gone out, judging by the fact that his keys weren't on the hook.
There was also the fact that Taehyung still hadn't returned home and would probably want to eat something home cooked when he eventually did get back.
I'd been lost in the depths of my thoughts, humming to myself as I cooked and cleaned up; placing the flour and all the other dry ingredients back into the oakwood cupboards above the counters and wiped the hob - I hadn't noticed that someone had walked into the kitchen and stood behind me.
"Oppa, what are you making?" Iseul smiled at me shyly. No doubt, she too had been recounting our time together, before she had fallen asleep, in her head.
She'd showered and changed into one of my t-shirts, but wore her own jeans. It was very attractive to see her wearing something of mine.
Earlier on I'd offered her my t-shirts since she didn't carry much clothing with her and we'd only purchased things for her to use when going out.
"Pizza. They say, it's like sex on a plate." I winked at her, making her even more shy.
"Okay... I am feeling a little hungry." She was now the colour of a tomato.
"Here Jagiya, tell me what you think. I added chicken and pineapple." I placed a plate of sliced pizza in front of her.
"You might like it." I winked at her, then placed a can of Pepsi in front of her.
"Gomawoyo oppa." She thanked me as I joined her at the wooden kitchen counter, taking a seat next to her on a bar stool.
"How are you feeling?" I asked, turning to face her, searching her face.
"Exhausted... but happy." She grinned at me and kissed my lips.
"Mmm... this pizza tastes even better on your lips." I flirted with her.
"You should eat too oppa." She picked up a slice and fed me.
As I chewed, I thought about how this could be us everyday. Living together, eating together, sharing our lives - moment by moment.
But it all depends on Iseul and what she wants.
Because she has a life in Korea. She has her parents and a job there.
"Babe, when's your flight back home?" I asked her suddenly.
"Uhm... tomorrow night at 9 p.m. I couldn't get an extended stay at a hotel and I also couldn't find a later flight. I tried before coming down to find you now in the room." She pouted at me sadly.
"Okay, and what does your work schedule look like now that you've fixed the problem with the missing inventory?" I asked her, trying to figure out how we'd make this long distance relationship work.
"Well, I have a few meetings with potential clients lined up over the next few weeks and then after that, it's all about dealing with whatever chaos unfolds in between." She shrugs at me. Then her eyes widened as if she just remembered something else.
"Oh and my 'sister' is in jail at the moment. There's another case seeing as her daughter is missing. We suspect the father has taken her." She looks up at me awkwardly, knowing that she's referring to my evil twin.
"Don't worry, he doesn't look exactly like me, Jagiya; well... technically he does, but he's not as handsome as me. And his voice is not sexy, like mine." I jested with her, deepening my voice, while wrapping an arm around her shoulders and kissing her cheek.
Iseul's cheeks turned maroon. It's so adorable whenever she gets so shy.
"Don't stress about So-jin. And if by some chance you do come face to face with him in the courtroom, just act like you don't know anything about him, or me. Because he'd only trouble you if he knows you're my girlfriend." I say to her.
But as soon as I said this to Iseul, my mind had begun to reel. This is my girlfriend and I know my psychotic twin would do anything to get to me. He's been a problem since the day we were born.
He had always wanted to be me.
Anything I had, he wanted. Growing up, he'd steal my toys, and then break them to pieces.
Then, as we got older, he'd take my favourite clothes to wear, but they'd either be torn, missing a few buttons or worn out when I wanted to wear them. He also used to steal my phone to go through my chats and socials, acting like me.
I had narrowly escaped trouble so many times because I'd discovered the posts just in time, deleting them before anyone else had seen them.
And then, when we were seventeen, he assumed I was dating Yoon-ah and had played that dirty little game with her.
It's also why he made her pregnant. He hoped to out do me in something for a change - and by having a child first, he'd be producing an heir before me.
My parents were not particularly pleased with me, as they wanted me to have grandchildren before So-jin... It was tpical Asian values, the eldest must marry and have children first.
Oh, they knew what he'd been doing.
They just hadn't stopped him. They hoped the 'problem' would just 'go away on its own'.
In short, they hoped I'd put an end to his bad behaviour and bring him in line. Because I'm 'the older twin'. But I'm not his parent! Though, that didn't seem to matter to them.
Don't get me wrong. I tried to bring him in line, more than several times. But it never worked. The teachers at school had made my efforts to bring him in line even more difficult as they all fell for his charm.
He used to buy them roses or chocolates. Give them money or even have them come over to our house to earn extra money as his 'personal tutor'.
And it got worse as we got to our final year, he'd even do the teachers 'special' favours...
I had the displeasure of walking into a classroom once, only to find my twin between the legs of the Maths teacher, miss Kang. Then there was that one time he tried to slip his hands under the English teacher's skirt.
She had eventually given in to his charms and they were dating for a while after we finished school.
It was revolting. People gave me the disgusted looks! Then come back to apologise to me when they realised that I'm the older twin.
My life was utterly completely fucked up. I had the worst family on planet Earth.
And then my parents did the only good thing they ever did for me.
They had Taehyung.
He was unlike my parents and twin. Because my parents were always off on business trips with Mr. Ji and their other associates,
Tae had grown up with my nanny - the other one had resigned after my parents were looking for someone other than themselves to blame So-jin's bratty behaviour on, because my twin brother, used to have his own nanny.
The woman was a witch and loathed me until her very last day there. She had encouraged his bad behaviour and filled my parents' ears with rumours about me as we grew up.
Funny enough, it was everything my twin had been. He was the one who'd done those things.
Taehyung was my only sanity. He is my saving grace. He's the reason I didn't give in to the pressures of society. My little brother had saved my life unknowingly with his tiny hands and adorable face.
Taehyung's the reason I didn't cave in.
It's why I've done everything in my power to give him the best. I'm so proud of him. He is now the Marketing Manager here at DHL and I know he'll do very well.
I'd do the same for Iseul. That's why I have to protect her.
But how am I going to do it? All my contacts are now here in Canada...
Except perhaps for Mr. Ji...
But would he help me? I'd resigned from his company so hastily.
I guess I'm going to have to try, for Iseul's sake.
"I see... okay I'll be careful then oppa." Iseul says, kissing my cheek.
We ate the rest of the pizza on our plates and I cleared away the dishes, leaving the pizzas I'd made for Yoongi and Taehyung in the refrigerator.

Iseul's POV
My first day here in Québec City had been a roller coaster ride.
Jin and I had gone shopping, he'd shown me around the area a little and then we got back to Yoongi's house.
After Yoongi had left Jin's room, we sat and talked for a little before falling asleep.
Jin oppa is just the sweetest, kindest man I've ever met in my life. I love him so much.
Jin oppa has many sides to him, and I'm glad I'm the only girl he's ever shown this side to.
Everything from the small kisses to the winks and the big smiles he gives me when I walk into a room, to the side of him he's reserved only for my eyes, in private...
Although, I'm worried about leaving him and going back to Korea for a few weeks.
But that's only of my leave isn't approved... HR has been extra difficult about approving my leave since both Seokjin and his brother, Taehyung had resigned within a span of three weeks.
I didn't tell him, because I wanted to surprise him, but earlier on I had checked my emails and if HR doesn't approve my leave, I have a conference to attend right here in Québec in two weeks.
What a coincidence!
I'm hoping to surprise him with a present, because it'll be in time for Valentines day.

Yoongi's living room
20h00
By 8 p.m., everyone was too stuffed with pizza and too tired to do anything but sit in front of the television with either a cold beer, or in my case, a can of iced Pepsi.
Jin was snuggled on the sofa next to me, in just his pyjama bottoms, whereas I wore one of his t-shirts and my own pyjama bottoms.
Yoongi was seated on the sofa opposite us, still in his jeans and shirt from earlier - having returned from the store with a whole lot of groceries and other household items.
After helping him pack everything away, we all crashed in front of the television.
I only moved to let a very exhausted-looking 26 year-old in.
Taehyung greeted everyone, rushed upstairs to freshen up and crashed on the sofa between Yoongi's and Jin's when he came back downstairs, looking a little more alive than he did fifteen minutes before.
Yoongi switched channels, bored of the current K-Drama we were watching. While Taehyung chomped down on pizza and casually sipped his beer, staring blankly at the TV screen.
Jin wasn't interested in anything except holding me close. He had an arm around my waist, his eyes closed. I patted his head occasionally with one hand while my other hand was interlinked with his other hand.
He eventually fetched a t-shirt, claiming he was beginning to feel a draft.
"Jagiya, don't go? Please stay?" Jin pouted, looking up at me as we sat in the living room with Yoongi and Taehyung.
"Yeah Iseul, please don't go. Because when you do, he's gonna turn into a complete Sulky Sue here!" Yoongi grinned evilly at my boyfriend; knowing how Jin will react if he spills any beans on the last few weeks.
"When he thought you were mad at him he sulked for the entire two weeks that he was here. The guys here almost thought that he was no fun at all. Until you showed up at the airport." Yoongi supplied unhelpfully.
"Hey! Yoongi oppa, don't say that about my boyfriend! He's a little sensitive!" I defended Jin comically, patting his head as I held him to my chest.
"Yeah, you tell him that Jagiya." Jin smiled blissfully, now resting his head on my shoulders, hiding behind my hair.
"Yoongi oppa, by any chance, are there any thrift stores closer to this area?" I asked suddenly, realising that I only had two sets of pyjamas and both were currently drying on the line in the laundry room.
"Yeah... I'm sending you a location now Iseul." He said and within an instant my phone beeped.
Taehyung, who didn't seem to follow the conversation well, looked perplexed by the name Yoongi had called me by.
"Guys, the real question here is, 'Who is Iseul'?" Taehyung looked from Jin to Yoongi and then at me, completely confused.
He arrived back at the house about thirty minutes ago and looked exhausted from his day out with the guys. So he wasn't here when Jin and I explained everything to Yoongi.
Jimin and Jungkook had taken him to all the local attractions in Québec, showing Tae around the town and where their offices were.
Then they crashed at Jimin's house for a few hours before dropping Tae off here, back at Yoongi's.
"Jagiya, do you want to tell Tae or should I tell him?" Jin whispered in my ear.
He sat next to me with an arm wrapped around my waist and his chin resting on my shoulder.
"I'll tell Tae." I whispered back, kissing his cheek.
"Ahem... I'm waiting for an answer guys..." Taehyung cleared his throat seriously as he brushed his blond hair back, waiting for one of us to explain.
"It's me. Just me..." I say shyly, looking at him.
"You're Iseul?! But we've been calling you Eun-Tak since forever!?" My friend interrobanged, his eyebrows disappearing beneath his blond fringes.
"Taehyung oppa... you do know that I'm not Ji Dong-Woo's biological daughter right? I'm 'adopted'." I broke it down to him.
"How? We came over all the time... surely they would have slipped up!" He asked curiously.
"Both my parents work in the same house. So they technically grew me up under the Ji' family's supervision, because the they had lost their youngest daughter. The real Ji Eun-Tak. Their eldest daughter, Yoon-ah had had a hand in it... so to protect her from juvenile and save the family's face, the Ji family had asked my parents for me to fill in as their daughter whenever there were visitors around at the mansion or if they had any important family events." I shrugged casually, unbothered by it.
"Wow... and to think! Jin hyung was upset that you hadn't noticed him in the 26 years that we are friends! Haha" Tae laughed evilly.
"Well, Mr. Ji treats me like his daughter, but his wife and his real daughter hated me... so I had my own drama to distract me." I explained to all of them.
Taehyung's jaw had fallen to the ground.
"I- I didn't know... wow... so you're..." Tae stammered in disbelief.
"Nope, my girlfriend is not a Ji." Jin piped up happily playing with my fingers, then looked up and rolled his eyes in annoyance at his brother.
"Alright... that makes sense now. Anyway, Iseul is a much prettier name." Yoongi smiled kindly at me.
"Hey! Yoongi stop flirting with my Iseul." Jin grinned at him, but I felt his arms tighten around my waist a little.
The two started to take a dig at each other; just petty banter, until Jin's phone began to ring, cutting their madness short.
Jin oppa looked at his phone in mild confusion.
"That's new... I've gotten so used to not having a cellphone, it seems a shame to pick up now." Jin made a face at the sound of his cellphone beeping.
"Pick it up already!" Tae insisted, anxious to see what was going on.
"Yeoboseyo? He- hello?" Jin squinted in concentration as he waited for a response.
"Jin hyung! I'm so glad you have a phone now!" The voice of Namjoon carried through the room.
"Oh... Namjoon, yeah... yes... yes... Yoongi had set it up for me earlier today. Yes... yeah, I'll see you at the office on Monday. Okay- bye." He hung up, sighing heavily, relief evident on his beautiful face.
"Arrrgghh.... He wants to meet after work on Monday." Jin groaned awkwardly covering his face.
"Well, I think you should go. I won't be here, and you need to be more social with other people oppa." I say softly to him.
"No Iseul... Don't say that, please stay." He says to me again.
"I have to go, if I'm going to come back..." I whispered to him.
"Besides, I'm sure Yoongi wants me out of his hair because when I'm here, his best friend's attention is only on me." I say out loud, sensing the slight awkwardness from the two single guys, seated infront of us.
But Jin didn't care. He pulled me closer and looked at them.
"She's staying. Besides, I'm gonna move out soon enough." He says to Yoongi.
"You both can stay as long as you like guys. I don't feel awkward and I actually enjoy having more people in the house. I don't know about Tae though. His best friend is dating his brother." Yoongi smirked and glanced sideways at Tae.
"I'm happy for you both. Its a relief now really. All that built-up sexual tension between you too was difficult to digest back in Seoul!" He grinned at Jin then at me.
Uh-oh... they assumed...
My hands flew subconsciously to my neck. Then I looked at Jin's neck...
And I felt like the Earth was swallowing me whole as I buried my face in my hands.
"Awwwwww hyung. She's so shy it's cute!" Taehyung joked, prodding me like the annoying friend he is.
"I can't believe you're dating my older brother!" He smiled at me, then hugged me.
"Thanks." I squeaked out, still mortified that these guys knew.
Then again, they're guys... ofcourse they'd notice.
We continued watching television together, Taehyung, now sitting with his legs folded on the sofa next to Yoongi who had already fallen asleep, his head using Tae's lap as a pillow.

Jin's POV
The next day
Québec City
06h00
Iseul would be leaving tonight... was the first thing that had crossed my mind when my eyes opened this morning.
I guess I have to make the most of today. I sighed to myself.
"Good morning Jin oppa." She whispered sleepily.
"Good morning Jagiya." I smiled at her, wrapping an arm around her waist.
One last time. Because I don't know when I'll get to hold her like this again.
"What are we doing today? " She asks me excitedly, sitting up, resting her chin on my bare chest.
"Well... for now, we're lying in bed, and I want to kiss you for as long as I possibly can. Then we're going to shower and have breakfast. After that, I have something I need to ask you." I say simply to her, pressing a kiss to her lips, then rolling her over so that I'm leaning over her; my palms on either side of her sweet face.
"Hmmmm... sounds goo- " But I didn't let her finish her sentence. Instead, I slid my tongue into her mouth while she was speaking, taking her by surprise.
She kissed me with all her emotion, conveying her deepest, darkest secrets in just a kiss.
It felt like a song. As if she was soothing me and also confiding in me.
It's indescribable.
I took over from her, kissing her jawline, her neck, and her chest. She let out a soft moan.
Last night had been funny too. Iseul was too shy to try anything and didn't even kiss me properly.
Instead, she pecked my lips and cuddled up close to me then, she was out like a light.
"I love you Iseul." I whispered into her ear as I kissed her neck.
"I love you too Jin." She gazes into my eyes, her own eyes reflected the emotions I felt.
It felt almost unreal. But we both knew that it is.
♡♡♡
After a little bit of making out with my girlfriend, she got off the bed, and rushed into the bathroom to shower.
It was cute how she was terrified that I'd run in behind her.
"Don't worry Iseul. I'm actually going downstairs to make breakfast." I reassured her.
I think she's gotten too used to my playful side...

07h35
In the kitchen
I looker up as she walked down the staircase that led into the kitchen. Her hair was damp after her shower and she'd taken another one of my t-shirts to wear. This time, it was a printed t-shirt that read "Life's beautiful when you have food" on the front.
I'd already fried some eggs and made some toast while she was getting dressed upstairs.
Iseul being the sweet girl she is, brewed everyone a cup of strong coffee and fried sausages, sliced tomatoes and mushrooms to add to the eggs.
"This is for a balanced meal oppa..." She smiled at Yoongi, who'd been watching her curiously.
Yoongi and Tae ate with us, taking about the weather and advising us where was the best place to go since it was so hot today.
Then Tae helped me clear away the dishes as Iseul went upstairs to add some make up and change her clothes.
"You look much happier now hyung. I'm glad." Tae observed me as he dried the dishes I handed him.
"Thank you Tae. If you didn't give me that little pep talk I may have never had the courage to talk to her." I admitted.
"Well I'm glad I helped. She's a sweet girl. Don't ever let her go." He advises me, which was strange as he's normally my goofy little brother.
"I'm scared Tae. She's going back to Seoul tonight. So-jin's lurking about and she has to attend a hearing... he's kidnapped his daughter." I said seriously, looking at my brother.
"Oh no... you know it's a wonder how he's our brother..." Tae rolled his eyes.
"When I visited him in prison the last time, he hinted at breaking out and taking 'what's his'. I just assumed he meant our ancestral house or something. Because I know it's on your name and he always wants what's yours." Tae says.
I nodded thoughtfully until it hit me... Taehyung was on to something.
So-jin wasn't just taking his daughter away, he was using her as a ransom for our inheritance and ... if Yoon-ah was back in the picture... he wanted her for her father's business too. Not because he loved her.
What a real pest my twin had turned out to be. I should have killed him in the womb. But then that would have made me just like him.
"Tae... Do you still keep in contact with Zac at the Seoul police department? "

A/n: Well... It sure is getting really interesting!
