Eun-Tak's POV
Québec City Airport
Arrivals lounge
I hadn't expected to run into Jin oppa immediately after landing in Québec, Canada. I didn't even know that Taehyung oppa had taken the same flight.
He must have taken first class... I think to myself, glancing from him, back to Jin oppa.
"Oppa?" I tried again as he turned to face me, his face unreadable.
He looked surprised, but also a little apprehensive.
'Ouch... not quite the reception I had expected. But then again... I wasn't the nicest person to him the night he resigned.'
He'd saved my life that night.
He had some company too... there were five other men with him, all of whom I didn't recognise.
"Eun-Tak!" He smiled at me suddenly, walking towards me. The other men watched him, and some of them looked at me, confusion clear on their faces.
Taehyung oppa ignored me, his jaw was set stiffly and he looked as if he wasn't happy with his hyung talking to me.
I can't say I blamed him... But I needed to apologise.
"How are you?" I asked the clichéd line, cringing internally.
"Good and you?" He smirked a little. It was so sexy. "In fact I've never been better."
"I'm fine. Is it possible for me to have a word alone with you for a minute, oppa?" I asked, praying he'll agree.
"Sure." He gestured towards a pillar to his left. He glanced at his group of companions and one of them nodded back. He seemed shorter than most of them and was the one who didn't have a confused expression - nor did he share Tae's expression of extreme displeasure when he looked over at me.
We reached a spot about 3 or 4 metres out of earshot.
"Yes, Eun-Tak-ssi?" He asked formally.
"Joesonghamnida oppa. For everything. I should have been more understanding that night. And I should have opened my eyes and realised sooner that you were our company's Director." I bowed at him. Jin oppa remained silent the entire time.
Then he did something I didn't expect of him.
He reached forwards, held me by my shoulders and straightened my posture.
"A lady should never grovel at or bow to a man. Even if she was wrong." He smiled at me kindly, then slid his hands down my shoulders and arms, taking my hands in his, maintaining the eye contact we had.
"I meant it when I said that I love you. Maybe it wasn't the perfect time to confess my feelings for you, but that was the initial reason why I had set up that dinner date with you. I knew I was leaving Korea. I just needed to finalize the date of my flight. And I wanted to clear the air with you before I left. So, there are no hard feelings between us. I also should have been more clear with you. But I had promised your father I'd keep a distance from you. While, on the other hand, he had also asked me to protect you and watch over you. I guess somewhere in between hiding my identity from you and trying to help you, I fell in love with you. And I'm sorry too. I'm sorry about not being clear with you. About not telling you that I was leaving... and I'm sorry that you had to find out about my past like that." He looked down at the titled floor as he held on to my hands.
"Oppa... I love you too. I really do." I said, feeling the tears starting to roll down my cheeks, my voice cracked and a lump formed in my throat with the emotion I felt. Jin oppa looked up at me when he heard my voice had cracked.
"You do?" His eyebrows shot up and his eyes widened in elation.
"Yes." I nodded. "I came to Québec City to apologise to you and to tell you that I love you. I've missed you so much in the last few weeks." I sniffed, and he pulled me in for a hug.
"I love you so much oppa. I'm so sorry my sister hurt you. I didn't know what was going on. She'd tried to kill me... just because I asked her to keep her hands off you. That's why she tried to drown me that night." I said, trying not to cry again.
But the tears kept falling, wetting his coat.
I looked up from his warm chest, to face him.
"Shhhh.... Eun-Tak. It's okay." Jin oppa hushed me, hugging me again, stroking my hair and comforting me.
"What matters to me is that you found me. You tried to make things right. And you love me." He says to me softly as he rocks me from side to side, hushing me.
"By the way," He says suddenly, looking at me with mock suspicion, "How did you know to come to Québec City, specifically?" He raised an eyebrow sexily, driving me mad inside.
"I- uh... I searched for days around the office for any sign of your new whereabouts. I was prepared to search for the rest of my life. I had asked my father, and I even asked Taehyung oppa, and some of your ex staff members. But, they all refused to tell me where you'd gone off to. I listened to the whispers as I walked the hallways, because after you left that's all there was. The office became silent. And then, just the other day, I came across your office desk as they were clearing out your old office and I noticed a letter..." I say honestly, looking into his beautiful hazelnut coloured eyes.
"I see." He chuckled. "You found the copy of that letter... I was wondering where I'd left it." He smiled, looking down at me as I rested my chin on his chest. He'd held me close to him, not letting me go for some reason.
"Well, then I'm glad that I forgot it in that desk drawer." He winked at me and then leaned down towards me.
His lips pressed against mine, kissing me delicately.
What a first kiss it was... because I've never kissed anyone before.
A few whoops sounded around us, and I heard Taehyung oppa saying 'Finally!'. But I kept my eyes close, trying to capture the feeling of his warm lips against mine as he kissed me.
After what felt like an hour, he pulled away from me and smiled knowingly at me, as if he knew a secret.
"That was your first kiss?" He said more than asked me.
"Ye- yes..." I admitted, feeling my face heat up.
"Well, I'm glad I'm your first. Because after this, you're never kissing anyone else!" He whispered into my ear, making me blush.
I probably looked like a tomato now.
And his friends were staring at us like this was some K-Drama. In fact, someone actually stopped to ask us if we were shooting for a K-Drama!
"Non, je suis désolé, ce n'est pas un K-Drama. (No, I'm sorry, this isn't a Kdrama.)" He said in perfect French.
Gosh he sounded extra sexy when he spoke French. He had a nasally sort of accent. Kind of like the way he sounded when he had the flu.
Fuck... My panties just got wet.
The passer-by nodded and gave us a thumbs up.
"Oppa, I didn't know you could speak French!" I looked up at him, gushing at his accent.
It was an absolute weakness of mine. French is such a romantic language!
I got butterflies in my tummy, as if he'd just kissed me all over again.
"Well... Jagiya... you'll see there's more to me than my handsome face." He winked and pulled me along with him as he walked back to his friends.
"Come let's go meet the guys. I need to introduce my woman."
"Woman?" I looked at him in confusion.
"Oh, Eun-Tak-ssi, you're such an adorable, naïve, little girlfriend." He said to me pinching my cheeks. "Yes. You're my girlfriend now. There's no way I'm leaving you to roam free again. I'm finally free of your family's chains that were binding me. I can date you now." He says just as we got closer to Taehyung, who was walking up to us.
"Congratulations, hyung." Taehyung hugged his brother, then turned to face me, bowing slightly. He grasped my hands in his, placing one of his palms on top of and one below my hands, as if accepting a package or parcel.
"I owe you an apology, Eun-Tak. I didn't expect you to fly all the way to Québec to apologise to my brother. An admirable action indeed." He said honestly.
"I'm also sorry, Tae oppa." I apologised, returning his bow.
"Ahem... guys, now that we're all good, can we please go home? I'm getting hungry and Jin hyung, your cooking is so good!" The guy that watched me talk to Jin oppa had said to us.
"Hey! Yoongi. Patience is a virtue okay." Jin oppa said to the man named Yoongi with a smirk.
"Eun-Tak, this is Yoongi. My best friend and the reason I'm here today." Jin oppa smiled at me.
"Enchante Mademoiselle." He bowed.
"Enchanteé." I replied, returning his bow.
"Everyone, this is Ji Eun-Tak, and from today on, she's never leaving my side. She's my girlfriend." Jin oppa says to the six men standing around us.
He made me blush as his puts an arm around me, rubbing my arm comfortingly and exclaimed happily that we're officially dating. Which I'm happy I didn't have to ponder too long over.
Is there such a thing as too soon?
Or does it all just fall into place at the right time like this?
"Eun-Tak, this is Park Jimin, Jung Hoseok, Jeon Jungkook and my new boss, Kim Namjoon! I've just met the guys myself. We're all going to have a welcome dinner for Tae." Jin oppa exclaimed to me happily.
"Alright then... I guess I better go check in at my hotel then, oppa. May I please have a number I can contact you on?" I said awkwardly, trying not to crash their party.
"Eun-Tak-ssi, just where do you think you're going, all alone like this after our hyung just asked you out?" Yoongi said to me, half amused, half confused.
"I- I don't want to impose on your time getting to know each other." I said shyly. "Oppa and I already know each other." I shrugged awkwardly.
"Omg hyung! She's so cute! You better hold onto her or I might just snatch her up!" Yoongi said jestingly.
"Don't even dare." Jin oppa said, his voice deepened, and he pulled me closer, ever so slightly.
"Hyung! Chill. I was only joking. I know what she means to you." He laughed. Yoongi seemed like a fun guy, when he wasn't goading Jin oppa.
"Alright everyone, let's go eat now." Taehyung oppa sighed. Clearly he was used to this back and forth banter.
"Eun-Tak, do you have all your luggage?" Jin oppa asked me, his lips centimetres away from mine.
I caught myself staring at him, shook myself and focused on his question.
"What's that oppa?" I asked him, looking into his eyes to help me concentrate better.
"Baby, do you have all your luggage?" He asked me, his voice dropped a few octaves as he whispered in my ear, sending tingles down my spine.
"Ye- ye- yes..." I shivered in response.
"Okay, come, let me carry that for you." He said, taking my suitcase.
"Wow.. this is surprisingly light." He mused.
"I was in a hurry and threw in only a few essentials and some pyjamas." I said embarrassedly to my new boyfriend.

Airport undercover parking
We split into separate vehicles. Jin oppa took me in Yoongi's SUV, while the other six refused to sit with us. They all pooled into Jimin's and Namjoon's vehicles.
"I'll be fine hyung. You go with Eun-Tak." Taehyung oppa had said to my boyfriend.
Jin smiled at him and took me by the hand, leading me to Yoongi's vehicle.

In the car
"I'm glad you're here." He said to me once we were on the freeway towards his new home.
"Me too." I said quietly.
It felt different now that we were alone together. Almost as if the things at the airport had never happened.
Probably sensing my thoughts, Jin oppa spoke up once more.
"I meant what I said now at the airport. I love you Eun-Tak and I want us to date. I want to marry you and I want us to have our own family together. Because when I'm with you, there is no one else." He glanced at me pointedly, then looked away again to focus on the road.
"I love you too oppa. I want those things too. I've wanted it for a while now... but I didn't know how you felt." I feebly replied to him.

Yoongi and Jin's front yard.
"I want to kiss you now." He said to me, as he parked the vehicle in the drive.
"Me t-" I began, but his lips crashed against mine before I could finish my sentence.
"You taste so good." He murmured as he ran his tongue over my lips and then over my own.
"Aha..." I tried to say, but his lips were glued to mine.
He moaned a little, the vibration turning me on immediately.
I pulled away quickly, shyly clearing my throat.
"Ahem..."
"Sorry. I forgot that you'd just had your first kiss 30 minutes ago." He laughed.
"I've been holding myself back from kissing you for so long, I can't help it now that I can. I'll try to be more patient with you." He whispered to me, holding me in his arms.
"It's okay... I can't imagine what you've been through, but I understand what you mean. I've been imagining this kiss for months." I admitted, covering my face with both hands.
And Jin oppa laughed. He actually laughed. It wasn't cruel, rather, he was amused by my honesty. He pulled me into his arms and whispered:
"Oh Jagiya, how I've missed you."
Just then, his friends arrived and poured out of the other two vehicles.
"I see we're late." Taehyung raised an eyebrow.
"The Lovebirds shrugged us off like that to get here before us. Jin, you should join me when I go racing sometime, you're good." The tallest of them said to Jin oppa. I forgot his name. He wore sunglasses and had blond highlights in his hair. When he smiled at us, I saw that he had dimples on either side of his face.

Jin's POV
Yoongi's house, kitchen
Finally! I got to actually kiss her.
When she turned up at the airport, I couldn't believe my eyes.
It took me a few minutes to comprehend what was going on. Eun-Tak had actually found me. And apologised.
She'd found my clue.
There was no way I'd leave her without leaving something behind for her to find me when she was ready to. I knew she'd been acting in front of her sister. I knew them both well enough to know that the youngest sister had the good sense to throw her sister off the scent.
Because if Yoon-ah found out that we had feelings for each other, she would wreak chaos.
But it still had hurt me when she said those things.
I'd had enough time to comb through the events of that night once I settled in here. I almost panicked, thinking about how she'd know where I am, until I remembered I'd purposely left a copy of the letter in that drawer. I knew she'd look.
Because she wouldn't rest until she had answers. Just like she did for the case she was solving when I'd left.
'I can't wait to marry her.' I sighed to myself as we cooked together.
She was pretty good at cooking, especially for a large group of guys. Considering the Ji family were tiny, her mother had passed away from shock after her sister's little stunt, so it was just her and her father.
I suppose she had learned all of this because she used to hang out more with their butler and cleaning staff at home, rather than her actual family. Maybe that's also why she turned out so sweet.
"You can stay here as long as you like Eun-Tak-ssi." Yoongi said to her quietly as he chopped up onion and vegetables for the dish he was preparing.
We'd decided to all make something to shorten the waiting period. So, Yoongi was working on a stew and some dumplings, I worked on some ramen and stir-fried meat, while Eun-Tak worked on the dessert.
She was baking a chocolate cake. I was actually more surprised that Yoongi had all the ingredients stocked up for baking.
He didn't often bake and wasn't up for it when I asked him about it a week ago.
'Oh... how thoughtful of him.'
"Gamsahamnida Yoongi-ssi." She bowed slightly as she concentrated on creaming the margarine and sugar.
"I have a booking at a hotel just for two nights." She said, looking up at him then at me, before looking away quickly.
"Two nights only?" I questioned her. "Why only two?"
"Well... I figured that I'd fly here, visit the company you're now working at and if you refuse to speak to me, I'd leave. It was my last option because you weren't answering your phone or your emails." She shrugged.
'Awwwwww...' I think my heart melted.
"You know, this guy's a big softie. He melted when he saw you today. In fact, before you could find him, he was actu- ..."
I clasped a palm over Yoongi's big mouth.
"Mind him, Jagiya. He's just excited to have the house full of people. He's been alone for almost a year and it's gotten to his head." I said as Yoongi struggled free, biting my hand in the process.
I let go of him, throwing him a disgusted look.
"Mianhe hyung. It's just that your grip is really strong."
"Oh.. miahne, miahne Yoongi-ah..." I blushed, I was showing off just a little bit for my girlfriend.

The backyard
After supper, the eight of us crashed in the backyard, where Yoongi had built a deck around his garden.
Citronella candles were lit around the deck which had fairy lights hanging above, jazz music played from a Bluetooth speaker and the guys all had a beer in their hands, except for me.
It was a relaxing evening.
I sat on a bench, with my girlfriend in my arms, seated between my legs. I held her, occasionally peppering her face with kisses as we caught up on the events of the last few weeks.
"Well, oppa, after you left the women in the office became savage towards me. They were freely accusing me of hurting you and chasing you away. Apparently, I was the reason you left. Not sure how everyone found out..." She shrugged cutely in my arms.
As she moved though, I felt someone get excited and had to divert my attention to other things, just to calm him down.
"Yeah... the staff at the hotel had to phone an ambulance for you because I didn't trust your sister. The rest I left up to your father." I said casually as all caution was thrown to the wind.
I pulled her closer and placed a single kiss on her neck.
She shivered like a little kitten, sending tingles up my legs that ran straight to him...
"D'you know... if you keep doing that Eun-Tak, I'm going to do more than just kiss your neck." I murmured into her ear.
"Maybe I should go check in at the hotel then. I'll see you tomorrow morning." She turned to face me, then got off the bench.
She stood, and so did I.
"Let me take you there. I've learned some of the city by now. It's not safe for you to go out on your own at this hour. Besides, I won't let you call a cab, when I'm here." I said firmly, pressing my forehead to hers.
"Okay, let me at least thank Yoongi-ssi and say goodbye to your friends." She innocently says to me.
"No, trust me babe, he'll understand. Besides, there's no need for you to do that." I said to her, feeling a sudden urge to keep her all to myself.
The guys were completely oblivious to our conversation. Most of them were just concentrating on digesting their food so they could drive home, though, as I walked with Eun-Tak past them to get to the house, Yoongi raised an eyebrow at me curiously.
"I'm dropping Eun-Tak off at her hotel, she needs to check in." I said simply.
"Use my car. You know where the keys are." He said, then settled back into his hammock and closed his eyes.
Taehyung was standing at the railing of the deck, in deep conversation with Jimin, talking excitedly with his hands about something.
It's good to see him get along with someone his age for a change. I smiled to myself, then turned back to walk with my girlfriend.
It was very difficult to keep my hands off her while driving. And, even more so, to keep my eyes off her.
She made me want to make love to her right here, in the backseat of this SUV. But I'd never do that to her. Not yet anyway.
Maybe after the wedding. I mused.

Hotel
"Hi, ma'am, do you have a reservation?"
"Yes, under the name Park Iseul, here's the confirmation email." She showed the woman at the reception desk.
"Okay thank you miss Iseul. Here's your key, room 786, fifth floor. Enjoy your stay." She smiled warmly at us.
"Thanks." She smiled at the woman and took my hand in hers, looking up at me adorably.
"Park Iseul?" I asked her, staring at her incredulously.
"That's a tad bit excessive... making a booking under another name." I smirked.
"Actually oppa, it's my real name." She smiles up at me awkwardly.
"Real name? Didn't your parents name you Ji Eun-Tak at birth?!" I asked her as the lift dinged open and I pressed '5'.
"Nope... I'm adopted. Their youngest daughter, the actual Ji Eun-Tak, died a few months after she was named. To save face, they adopted me from one of the women who worked at their house. My real parents grew me up under the Ji family's roof. All we had to do was pretend that I was the youngest daughter of the Ji family for public appearances." She shrugged indifferently.
She left me speechless...
Completely speechless.
The lift dinged open on the fifth floor, as if suggesting how I felt inside.
Free!
She wasn't even a Ji. This made things so much easier for me. And it explained all of my unanswered questions about her.
Like why didn't she look anything like her family?
How is it that she is so humble, compared to the rest of her family?
Why does she have such beautiful eyes, whereas they do not?
And why was she just so different?
"Oppa, are you mad at me?" She asked me as we reached her room door.
"No. On the contrary I'm really happy, Jagiya! Because now that I know, I don't have to feel guilty about anything. Eun- I mean, Iseul, if only you'd told me this sooner! I would have kissed you way back when you started calling me oppa." I teased at her, trying not to kiss her neck as she scanned her key card at the room door.
As we entered, the temptation to make love to her grew stronger.
'I must control myself.' I think to myself.
The thing is... I've never actually had sex before.
So it would be my first time too... just like our kiss earlier... it was the first time I kissed the person I love. I finally got to kiss her.
"Okay, goodnight oppa. Thank you for bringing me here." She says to me, giving me a big hug.
"I want to stay by your side. I don't want to ever leave you, Park Iseul." I said to her, holding her, and when she looked up at me, I pressed my lips to hers.
♡♡♡
"Ji- Jin oppa..." She moaned.
"Yes baby?" I smiled against her skin as I continued to pepper kisses down her neck.
We'd ended up making out on her bed, our hands interlinked as I moved from kissing her jaw to her neck, her collar bone... and then back to her lips.
"We- we sh- should sl- slee- sleep now." She battled to get out as I sucked on the other side of her neck, gently running my tongue at the nape of her neck.
"What? I didn't get that Jagiya. Say it again please?" I said, pressing a kiss where I'd just run my tongue.
There was a sharp intake of breath from her and I knew that if I didn't stop now, I'd definitely ruin these sheets with her.
"Okay." I said to her, stopping everything and sitting up to watch her. She was a hot mess, lying on the bed in front of me.
Her eyes were still heavily lidded, both from fatigue of the flight and the exhaustion of making out with me for the past hour.
"I'm sorry I tired you out baby." I whispered to her, cuddling next to her.
Before I knew it, we had both fallen asleep. My arm around her waist, my chin on her shoulder.
