I deeply apologise for the very late update. I have been neck deep in school work and exams and still am. I still don't know how I managed to find time to update this chapter. Future updates will be late too.

Also, to avoid confusion, the bold lines represents Mark of the present while the italic lines represent Mark of the past.

(Mark's P.O.V)

"Mark, please take me. It's been so long and I miss you so fucking much it hurts. I've been such an idiot. I shouldn't have left you.", sobbed Donghyuck as he lowered himself onto my lap.

It's me who had been the idiot, not you, baby.

The tears were pouring from his eyes without a stop.

"Let's go back to how we were back then. Please. I can't imagine myself with anyone else other than you, Mark."

Seeing Donghyuck in this vulnerable state, triggered a flow of memories from our past.

2 years ago, SM SENIOR HIGH Canteen, 8:15 am.

"Hi. I'm Lee Donghyuck. New student from SM JUNIOR HIGH. Is it okay if I sit here? I don't know anyone here.", came the sweet voice of a very cute, tanned guy in front of me.

My reputation was one of the worst.

I'm a playboy. Yes.

I'm an asshole. Maybe.

I fucking hate people. A very big yes.

Now obviously it would be a new student who asked to sit here next to me.

"No.", I said smirking.

The other boy's eyes widened. I could see the hurt and confusion flooding through his eyes.

"But why? It's not like you own school property. I will sit here.", he said firmly.

Hmm, he's feisty isn't he?

Let's see how long this lasts.

From that day onwards, I devised plans to test his limits.

Plan A- teasing

Unfortunately plan A did not go very well. He seemed immune to all the names and insults I throw at him. He was as much as a sunshine as always.

Plan B- physical torture

Or at least I planned to do so but I couldn't understand why I could never get myself to hit or shove Donghyuck. So that one was an utter fail.

I think I know now why that plan failed.

Plan C- fake dating

I was so fucking stupid.

I planned on being Donghyuck's boyfriend for a week or two and then dump him so that I can finally show him who's boss.

So I asked him to be my boyfriend and very very unexpectedly he said yes. I was shocked. What was wrong with this guy? I bullied him until yesterday and today he says yes to becoming my boyfriend.

Fuck. I should've known he loved me. I would've never continued with that plan.

I got over my shock and started dating him. It was fun. He was a very beautiful boy indeed. And he was all mine for a week. I took as much advantage of him as possible.

I  continued with my game. Koeun wasn't supposed to ruin it. We still had 2 days left together before I broke it off with him.

I still remember how his face reflected the insufferable amount of pain going through his mind. I cannot deny that I didn't feel any pain shooting through my heart at seeing him like that.

I wanted to see his pain, didn't I? There, I've seen it now. Then why the fuck wasn't I happy? 

Why did I want to run after him and pull him into my arms ?

Why did I want to kiss his tears away and apologise like there's no tomorrow without him by my side?

Why is my cold heart yearning for him to come back?

Why were there tears flowing down my cheeks?

Only then, did I fucking realize that I had fallen for the tanned, chocolate eyed boy.

Whose heart I had just shattered into pieces.
