She could smell the fresh air and the people walking by with coffees in their hands talking to other people.  There were men dressed in suits and women dressed in formal and classy clothing. 

She smiled. 

"Finally a new start," she said.

 She rubbed her belly, looking down at how big it has gotten.  In case you haven't noticed she's 6 months pregnant. 

She gazed up at the tall buildings. 

 "Now baby, let's find our apartment"...

She walked down the sidewalks of New York,  She knew where she was going. Too her new home.

 A man then accidentally bumps into her...

"Oh, my apologies Sir".

"No that was my fault ma'am".  

She noticed he was getting into a taxi.

 "Oh, would you like a ride?", he said as he looked down at her belly.

  Huh oh, no thanks! I'm just gonna walk.

  Well okay, farewell ma'am.

 He got into the cab and was gone. 

The man gets into the Taxi and it leaves...

Ring! Ring!

Oh. Who would be call-

 She takes her phone out of her dress pocket and looks at the caller ID. 

"Job company".  

She answers the phone.

Hello! Is this Eleanor Stonely?

Why, Yes.

Hi, I'm the receptionist Abby and I was wondering when you could start work,  sorry about the quick call we could really use another employee.

Well, I... I haven't gotten settled into my apartment yet... And...I don't know when I'm ready.  Um.  May I have a bit more time?
