💕Lila and Gavin would take longer to make a decision on when to have kids post marriage I think
💕They know they want children but it's really a question of when the right time is
💕We need to remember that at the end of the day, Gavin risks his life on the daily as part of his job in the STF
💕Not to mention missions can usually drag on for a month or two
💕They both knew that if they were to have children, they would have to be available at nearly all times which wasn't possible with Gavin as the captain of the STF and Lila as Aura
💕Lila didn't mind giving up her vigilante lifestyle for that domestic bliss but she would never ask Gavin to give up what he loves most in order to have children
💕And so when the time finally came where Gavin was promoted to Commander, now planning and ordering missions instead of executing they knew they were both ready
💕It didn't take very long for Lila to conceive luckily and before they knew it she was already in her first trimester
💕Honestly, they were both kinda terrified
💕I mean, neither of them really had good parental role models while growing up
💕Lila lost her mum at birth and her dad tended to neglect her anyway and then of course he died when she was a teen so
💕Gavins father was both physically and emotionally abusive and his mother died while he was pretty young too
💕So it's safe to say they were afraid of bringing another person into the world, I mean what's a parent?
💕But they knew that no matter what, they would fight their hardest as a team to bring their child a good life

💕During pregnancy, Lila would do the most to prepare herself 🤰🏻
💕This woman was attending parenting classes before she even knew the baby's gender
💕Gavin continued to remain the ever thoughtful husband, always making sure she was okay and completely comfortable
💕For the first time, Lila forced herself to actually eat healthy *shiver*
💕And then came the first ultrasound... where they found out that she wasn't bringing another person into this world but another... PEOPLE
💕Lila was having TWINS 😱
💕Okay they panicked a little at first because yes they were trying to prepare for bringing up a child but now TWO CHILDREN?!
💕But they got over it soon enough and were honestly over the FOCKIN MOON
💕They loved shopping for lil clothes and shoes before the babies were born and couldn't WAIT

💕When Gavin got the phone call from Lila saying her water broke the man was PREPARED
💕She didn't even have time to end the call before he was at the door
💕The twins were right on time (the due date that was given to her) so luckily they already had all the bags ready
💕Her labour was a long and painful one 😭 Her mum did pass at childbirth and it's said that labour intensity actually runs in the family
💕She was EXHAUSTED when the babies finally said hello to the world and even ended up passing out for an hour
💕But when she came around, there was NO stopping the woman from rushing to see her babies
💕Seeing Gavin cradling their children for the first time was probably one of the happiest memories of her life- she cried
💕She was in love with the small bundles of joy as soon as she laid eyes on them 👩🏻‍🍼
💕Say hello to Liyah (Lee-Ah) and Lucas:

💕Oh god, toddler years were definitely... interesting
💕Lucas took after his father while Liyah took after her mother
💕Lucas was a very subdued, calm baby, he was easy to take care of for the most part
💕Liyah on the other hand- do NOT let her looks fool you she is a DEVIL IN DISGUISE
💕Liyah is unbelievably energetic, she's either breaking things or running around at the speed of light
💕Whats worse is that their Evol began manifesting in toddler years
💕With both parents being evolvers, it was kind of expected that they'd also inherit evol
💕Their evols both centred around water control
💕While Liyah controlled liquid water, Lucas controlled ice
💕It's safe to say that they've gone through an unbelievable amount of sippy cups because they tend to explode randomly around the twins😭😭😭
💕Gavin is an absolute melt for his children like his entire world just centres around them
💕Liyah is most definitely a daddy's girl despite being so naughty
💕He throws them up in the air with his wind powers and loves how much they squeal with delight 😤
💕Having kids means awkward family dinners with uncle shaw and grandpa😭
💕Although There was no love lost between Gavin and his father, Lila and Gavin both wanted him to be involved in their children's lives
💕Shaw is the cool uncle 😎 pretends he doesn't like the kids bc ew children but really he's just as big of a melt for them
💕"No, Shaw, they're not old enough to drink cola!"

💕When going off to school, I think Gavin was the more emotional one 😂😂
💕His little ducklings were going to school 🥺💔
💕 We already know Gavin is SUPER over protective like Lila is the one that has to tell him to ease up
💕Liyah is STILL super naughty- Lila has had to go into the office many times to apologise
💕Honestly, Gavin was also quite naughty when he was younger so maybe she took after them both?
💕Lucas wants to be just like his dad when he grows up- a police officer
💕Gavin going in on careers day to talk about being the STF commander
💕His heart melts when he sees how proud Lucas is, going around telling everyone how he wants to be as cool as his dad when he's older
💕The twins are both amazing at sports already 😭 I mean Gavin was always coming first for all sports days
💕Speaking of, Lila would go out of her way to attend every event her children had, whether it was sports matches or even school plays, she was THERE

💕Ah teenage years 🥲
💕Glad to report that Liyah has calmed down... marginally
💕She's not as rebellious as you'd expect! Still a teen of course but not nearly as bad as she was as a child
💕Gavin can't even say no to his wife, do you really think he can say no to his children? Lila is 100000% the bad cop if need be
💕They both tend to stay away from any harsh sanctions/ punishments and try to instead understand the situations and then offer appropriate advice
💕Lila and Gavin try to listen to them as much as possible because that's what they didn't have as teens
💕Gavin is still overprotective and does use his evol to check up on them from time to time
💕Lucas is very popular with the ladies but he's much more interested in cadet training and working towards joining the STF
💕Lucas has a lot of self discipline, a lot like Gavin, and is actually quite good even through his teen years
💕Of course when he does lose his temper it takes all of them to chill him out again
💕Liyah's boyfriends are too scared to even meet her parents 😰
💕We already KNOW Gavin WILL interrogate them and give death glares to anybody she introduces
💕Lila ends up working part time throughout their childhood so she has more time for her kids
💕She really misses the constant hustle and bustle of raising children :(
