A little sneak peak of chapter 1 of my new story, Starstruck <3:

"Natsu, run," Dad whispered to me when a human came our way holding a gun.

"But da-," I started, tears running down my face.

"Don't worry about me, son," He said, placing his arms around my shoulders. "I will find you afterwords. Everything will turn out fine. Have faith in our people."

I did what my father asked. I ran as fast as my little legs could carry me. My breath hitched as I did, my feet hurting in the process. But I had no choice, I couldn't let my father down and get myself caught.

I didn't know where I was going or how to stop. But I know I had no choice but to keep on going.

My chest heaved when I stopped to take a breath. My eyes watered due to the fear of what was happening.

"I think I saw one running this way," I heard a male voice say to the right of me. My heart lurched and my eyes widened in fear. So I did what I needed to do, I kept on running.
