Why does it seem to please you to see

me screaming out in tears while on my knees?

You continuously beat me down with no mercy

and yet you still smile.

Why is it you can not see

me screaming  while on my knees, begging," Enough please".

With all the pain and sorrow deep inside 

Why is it that I still manage to find the strength to stand back up 

only to get beaten back down again?

The tears, the pain. Are they your trophies?

A sign to show you won knowing that 

I can't get up from my knees.

Did I not try to make you happy?

But why? Why enjoy seeing me, 

The one you said you love

Screaming in pain and sadness?

Why?
