More! Various Stuff
And now a report of what's been happening lately, in no order:
~~~~~
Guys, I think I'm a cat whisperer.
I feel like cats are naturally attracted to me.
I was at one of my friend's house the other day, and they had a cat. This cat, was not very social.
However, I gave it a little pat on the head because I loved cats, and it purred happily. So I'm thinking, "Huh. Okay. It likes to be petted on the head."
A few hours later, me, my friend, her sister, and her friends, were all playing Capture the Flag. I was in charge of guard duty, and I sat in the room and stared at the suspicious prisoners. Meanwhile, the cat just quietly walks up to me and pushes its head under my hand. I petted it some more, and when I was done, it just laid right next me on the floor, watching the prisoners with me. (Some got away while I was busy with the feline, but I didn't care) (My friend cared, though.)
And that experience took me back to a time when I was still in the Girl Scouts. My troop leader had meetings at her house, and they had a cat there, too. It hated absolutely everyone that was not the owner of the house. Everyone. It had a traumatic past, they had explained.
But, during my first meeting, I won over that darn cat's heart.
At first it stalked away from me, hissing at everything and glaring at everyone. It was kind of scary.
And my brain shouted at me, "Hey! You know what! That cat should learn to be nicer! Make it calmer!"
And I thought back, "Yeah, that'd be a nice idea."
So what'd I do?
I started humming Silent Night.
The cat stared at me.
And I continued humming.
After a few minutes, it suddenly jumped on my lap, and I hesitantly petted it, while still humming Silent Night.
Yeah...it followed me around the whole meeting afterwards.
So maybe here's some unintentional advice?? If you want a cat to calm down, hum or sing a calming tune!
~~~~~
So my friend who moved away gave me a very late birthday present a few weeks ago.
She also gave me a Pikachu bag! My other friend, though, was facepalming the whole time I unraveled the presents.

ANIME/MANGA RECOMMENDATION:
Assassination Classroom.
Just...just....Assassination Classroom. Everyone should probably give this a chance. I'm planning on reviewing it when I have time.
For those of you wondering, it's about a monster who can move at Mach 20. He has destroyed 70% the moon, and has a one hundred to three hundred million dollar bounty on his head. Now, here's the problem. He states that next year, March 13, he's going to do the same thing to the Earth. Another problem? He wishes to spend that last year teaching a class, for some unknown reason. This class, is Class E. The End Class. The dropout class. The class of no hope.
The Ministry of Defense has assigned the students of Class E to kill this monster before graduation of next year: March 13, and the day he is supposed to destroy the Earth. Since they are always around him, they have more opportunities to assassinate him. Hence, Assassination Classroom.
But...how do you assassinate a monster that can move at the speed of sound?
And what if this monster was the best and most devoted teacher you've ever had?
Could you kill him?
It seems very lighthearted and nonsensical during the first few episodes/chapters, but then when they start introducing other antagonists, it introduces its serious side. As the series goes on, there is less nonsense, and more serious tones. Of course, they always keep that little bit of humor to lighten up the atmosphere, even during the last few episodes/chapters...that...
*tries not to break down*
Personally, I prefer the manga, though the anime is great as well. It just cut out a few pieces of character development that would have made the story run a little smoother.
Oh yeah, to get a good feel of this monster named Koro-sensei (Can't Kill/Teacher) by the students, why don't I show you a picture? :D
Looks harmless, right?
Hah. No.
Also, he...he's one of my favorite characters...
*sigh*
Whether you watch the anime or read the manga, I will say this:
You will cry.
A lot.
Probably even more than anime like Your Lie in April, and we know that stuff was sad.

So you know how I was debating on who my character was going to romance in Stardew Valley a few chapters ago?
Well my hand 'slipped' and she got ten hearts with Elliott, followed by a lovely cutscene. Oops.
Alex was very close to winning my heart, though. I'm definitely gonna have my character romance him on my second save file. He's such a teddy bear...?
I'm a bit salty though, cause I was planning on having her propose to Elliot right after I got ten hearts, but by then it was the start of winter. And you can only meet the Old Mariner that sells you the mermaid pendant when it's raining. And so I have to wait a whole 28 days for spring, and pray for a rainy day.
But I guess that makes it all the more romantic, huh?
EDIT: Oh yeah, my character is married to him now. Yesh.
~~~~~
Also, um...
There's a movie...
I'd like everyone to watch.
It's called Wolf Children.
I actually haven't seen the movie, but I've read the manga! For once, the movie comes before the book!
And I cried.
Really hard.
Geez...what's with me sobbing over books?
The concept is just amazing and adorable, yet tragic. It's about a human mother who raises half-wolf children. Their father was a werewolf...kinda. And you watch as thirteen years pass by, and the children you start to love and become attached to grow up and go their separate ways... It's very heartwarming and says a lot about family. I would totally recommend it!
We have a substitute teacher in gym class. He's young, a choreographer, a dancer, and on a similar note, one of my classmates likes to free-style.
You know what that means...
DANCE OFF!
Yeah...the teacher won. But it was really epic. There were backflips and breakdancing and everything.
(Maze Runner Spoilers here)
You know, I never did write an update about this series, did I?
Yes, I finished the book.
Yes, my hunch was correct and I curled up into a ball and questioned my life choices.
But it was really good! My favorite has to be the first book, though.
Like...
I really like Brenda???
And I did NOT expect Teresa's death. That debris came out of nowhere...
And Newt's death was so intense! My heart was beating louder and faster with every word! My friend had to comfort me for a few minutes after Thomas shot him, because I was loudly mourning and trying not to cry.
But...why did Thomas never tell Minho?
Why?!
And I think he moved on a little too quickly for my liking...
But overall, this series was very good.
I'm a little upset, though. I bought the Death Cure for, like, twenty bucks, and I lost it at school. I still haven't found it, cause no one put it in the lost and found smh. After five months.
Why is American Authors so underrated?
Like, I've only heard two of their songs, and I'm in love already.
And, you know the new Chainsmokers songs? "Paris" and "Something Just Like This"?
Not going to lie, I'm starting to like the radio's choices. Of course, there are still a lot of bad songs being played, but the little gems always make way for a nice relief.
And I...love these two songs.
They're so relaxing, and rather cute! I'm usually not a fan of slow songs, but these are...really nice.
I've also really liked "Rockabye" by Clean Bandit, Anne-Marie and Sean Paul.
And this is all coming from someone who despised the Selfie Song and "Closer".
Fight me.
Finally...
*sob*
I think I actually like this better than the original song.
It's so beautiful...so beautiful...
Maybe this is a good way to end this chapter. Enjoy the music. :')
