There was a girl
There was a girl who saw life in colours,
Red, blue, violet a hundred shades,
There was a girl who had a zest for living,
Wherever she would go misery would fade,
Her dark eyes danced with mysteries divine,
A sunflower grazing her Golden hair,
When she moved, she flowed like wine,
She was pure, hidden in no layers,
There was a girl who was a rose in the thorns,
Her light so young and bright,
Like the warm sun on summer morns,
Every thing around her encased in white,
Her beauty was breathtaking, her charm so wise,
An exquisite masterpiece,an artist's delight,
She was the serene truth in a world of lies,
An expanse too flawless for sight,
There was a girl she was a rose in a world full of thorns,
Yet she did wither away and die,
Like the sunflower that no longer adorns,
Her golden hair, her wings lost someplace in the sky,
There was a girl who trusted all,
Until her soul took the eternal fall,
There was a girl who learnt it the hard way,
Then neither did she hear nor did she pray,
There was a girl who was once the light in a black coal ,
Got bruised and bruised ,built up her walls,
She was a girl living in a dream,
Until she was woken up by reality's scream.
