Pearls Of Jade
roses roses in tresses fair,
And eyes like pearls of jade,
And lips, a warm, soft, cherry layer,
Humming a song that never fades,
The same face, just a little wary,
From battlegrounds and wars,
Of fighting with courage scary,
On life's tender shores,
Now her skin is wrinkled,
Her light yet hasn't dimmed,
Her jaden eyes just the same,
Her fair tresses, now contained, dancing with the wind,
Her laugh often heard still,
That threatens to pour like hot water springs,
For she has left it to His will,
Thus she often sings :
Songs of merry cheer,
Her heart too young for her to grow old,
And ever so often, a happy prayer,
For bestowing her with wisdom worth a zenith of gold,
And in a silent moment,
Her lips Humming the same song,
She shuts her eyes in no lament,
And her young heart runs along,
Once again light and free,
Forever in the lap of her Father to play,
Every one grieved her loss when they could see,
Her beautiful body that without a heart beat lay,
They lost her for her to be found in Heaven's care,
Her golden braids with roses made,
Her heart so free, so free of fear,
An eternal light shining in her eyes like pearls of jade.
Miss me?
Oh of course you did :)
