Lived And Died
Trembling fingers giving way,
Wetting the pages my teardrops lay,
Aching head, an aching heart,
Once again, hope and I, we part,
Who do I tell my misery to,
How do I bid my pain adieu,
For desperate cries fell upon deaf ears,
Too drunk with my Sorrow, too drowned in tears,
For when I reach out,
The sky too, it screams and pouts,
Once again I think it's day,
But when I reach out the sun fades away,
For each time I make a wish I fall,
Once again I build my wall,
I look at my feet,
All I hear is my own heartbeat,
Thumping away with a ruthless sound,
I lost my way never to be found,
In all of the truth I lied,
In all of the places I lived and died.
