Sometimes it gets hard to stop the razor from touching my wrist,
Sometimes I scare myself off by my darkness, My mind's Mist,

Sometimes I look at you wanting you to say "Joyous you're not" When I say I'm fine,
Sometimes I want you to see behind the mask,
I put on all the time,

Sometimes I just want you to know I'm not just all laughs and cheers,
Sometimes I want you see the girl who gives a shit, sometimes I want you to see my tears,

Sometimes I want you to pick the pieces when I break,
Sometimes I want you to put me together again for God's sake,

Sometimes I want you to read the poetry I write,
Sometimes I want you to see the emotions I try so hard to hide,

Sometimes I want to find out who this 'you' really is,
Whom I expect so many things of,
Sometimes I want to believe that a plead for help will do,
Sometimes I just want to have hope,
But they tell me I'm selfish.....
