Stupendous, never been better

I say tho its clear that I'm hurt

when you say 'the girl I like' and its probably not me.

Its obvious to me that I like you.

You play dumb and act like you don't know it

And you give me signs, 

Just to lead me on.

Yeah, sure, I'm fine.....

Fine enough just to smile and say that they are, 

But inside I'm hurting.

Why did you lead me on?

Why did you have to say that?

Why did you have to hurt me so much by saying that?

God, can't you see that I like you? 

....Can't you see how much I do?

You know I have anxiety... 

So

Yeah, sure, I'm fine.....

I call you my best friend, 

But I mean so much more.

Can't we be like Starfire and Robin? 

Can't we be best friends and yet something more like them?

What would happen if we were?

Would something or someone come along and take you from me? 

Would I be ok if that were to happen?

'Never give up'

'It's ok to cry'

That's what people say right?

But what if I can't be strong?

Never give up, huh?

 I've heard it before but I don't understand it. 

What's not giving up?

It's ok to cry but what if the crying never stops? 

Would it be ok then? 

Or would you just say 'believe in yourself and you can do anything'?

So

Sure, lets think positive

Maybe he really does like me but he likes someone else to?

And maybe he knows that we both like him so that's why he doesn't ask one of us out?
