Two options 

Tell the truth

Or make you happy

I lie to you, 

You lie to me,

 and try to make the other happy

•••

We fight,

tears shed,

the web of lies gets more complex

•••

Lies after lies

after lies after lies,

it's hard to keep up after a while

•••

You find out the truth to one lie.

You cry because I lied, and

I cry because you yell,  making me feel guilty

•••

Our friendship is toxic and venomous

and yet I don't take the chances to get out.

I never grasp the spider's thread.

•••

I don't want to hurt you 

by leaving and I don't want to

hurt myself by leaving you

•••

At times when I talk to myself,

I say 'The next fight and it's over' but when 

it does happen, I cling onto you for dear life

•••

I can't get rid of you

no matter how hard I try

and I'm forever your prey

•••

Your a true despicable spider, 

with me, caught in your web 

of lies, waiting to be eaten...
