Bzzzz! Bzzzzzz! The sound of an electric shock buzzing. By now, Krissy was used to it. She was nothing more than a test subject. The experiment they were testing on her was how well a person performed without emotions. Illegal, but she had no choice.

The shocker was buried deep in her arm, on the bone. She gave up trying to remove it after a few days of it on.

The only purpose of it is to control her emotions. It sensed anything and shocked her twice. It also buzzed if the scientists needed her.

As of the current test, she was let out in public to see how well she did in situations. Cameras and vans were everywhere, so she couldn't escape.

Krissy sighed, they world was very grey to her, metaphorically speaking. She hadn't been outside in years, but she couldn't enjoy it.

She then ran into someone.

"Sorry," she apologized quickly. Before she could walk away, he grabbed her.

"No, it was my fault," he said standing up, "What's your name? Haven't seen you around, and it's my job to know everyone. I'm Evan." He stuck out his hand.

"Krissy," She said taking his hand. Right as they touched, electric shocks went through her arm.

"Wow, that was weird," Evan said. She studied his features even more. His black hair was spiked back, and wore a white hoodie with black pants. She thought was most prominent about him was his dark blue eyes. She then realized he was talking to her.

"I'm sorry," Krissy apologized, "Can you please repeat the last thing you said?"

"I said, would you like to go to Starbucks with me?" Evan repeated.

"I would enjoy going to StaRbucks with you," Krissy was shocked again.

~Le time skip of the tiredness ~

They sat down at a table, He ordered a coffee while she had nothing, even though he offered to pay. The two sat silence for a while before Evan started asking questions.

"Did you move here?"

"No."

"Do you have family here?"

"No."

"Are you passing through?"

"You could say that."

Evan was silent after that. He finished his coffee and they headed out and turned in on an ally way.

He slowly turned towards her, "Why do you do that?"

"I'm sorry, what?" She stopped.

"Why do you do that thing with your voice?" He clarified.

"What ThIng?"

"That, right there, why do you do that?"

"Someone is finding out! Destroy evidence we are here!"

"Yes sir!"

"I Can'T TeLl yOu, I-" Krissy didn't finish her sentence, she passed out. He bent over and touched her arm, a huge shock went through him, and it didn't stop. He removed his hand and dialed 911.

When he got off the phone, he turned her over so she was on her back. Evan looked at her. She was beautiful. He looked up to see the ambulance coming.

~Another time skip~

Evan waited in the lobby. He didn't know of anyone who knew her around.

"Are you Evan?" He looked up to see the doctor approach him.

"Yes."

"We just have to ask you a few questions."

"Okay."

"How long have you and Krissy known each other?"

"Only a couple of hours." The doctor scribbled something down.

"Can you please describe what happened?"

"Well, every time she said a word like love or despair she would raise her voice in the middle of the next words. I asked her about it and she said she wasn't allowed to then passed out," He tried to keep his cool.

"I see," the doctor wrote something on his clipboard, "I'll have more information for you later."

~Hopefully last time skip~

Krissy woke up with a jolt. She looked around. She had was terrified. She didn't know who these people are. She started thrashing as more and more people tried to restrain her.

"Calm down!"

"Don't touch me!" Krissy screamed.

"We're just trying to-"

"No! You've kept me in their for years! Where's Evan?" Krissy fought and punched everyone who got near her.

"Evan," The doctor ran to him breathless.

"Yes, is Krissy alive?" Evan asked breathlessly.

"Yes, but she demands only you see her," he continued, "We've had several doctors and nurses get punched and kicked."

Evan widen his eyes as he followed the doctor to Krissy's room.

What he saw was a mess. Tables knocked over, people on the floor groaning, and broken glassware everywhere. That's when his eyes fell on Krissy. She was strapped down to the bed, twitching from electric shock.

"Krissy," Evan said slowly.

"I can't see who I'm talking to if I'm strapped down," she answered.

"It's Evan."

"Evan? You actually came for me?" Krissy was confused, nobody wanted her, even her parents who sold her off to make money.

"They just need to remove the shocker and make sure you're alright, okay?

"Will you stay with me?"

"Anything for you," he said as he kissed her lips. She kissed back.

After they were done, she started to fall asleep.

"So this is what love feels like," she murmured as she drifted off.

"I'll let you experience every emotion as long as you're with me."

She finally started to see color in her dreams.
