A young girl sat on the edge of the cliff, staring off into the sky. She was young, around the age of fourteen and had wavy brown hair with bits of red at the end. The girl's hair reflected the moonlight a little bit, like someone trying to see themselves in an old, dusty mirror.

Waves crashed against the cliffside sending water droplets against her feet. It was a nice feeling for her, and it had always calmed her down. She longed for these nights where she could just sit down and relax.

"Hey there," came a voice from behind, "How are you?" she turned her head to face the person behind her. It was a young boy, only about three years younger. He went over and sat next to her.

"Hello there." said the girl, not looking away from her spot in the sky. "It's a beautiful night out, Isn't it? I love nights like this, It's so calming."

"Indeed," the boy said looking down into the oceans "How did you find this place? It's perfect."

"I was hiking one day, and I took a wrong turn. I then walked off trail for a little bit trying to get back to the main path, and I came across this place. It's my special place. Sometimes I come here because I'm scared, or sad, or just having a bad day."

"It's a great find. It's been a whole lot different ever since you've left. We miss you a bunch."

"Don't, you'll only make it harder on yourselves. You have to remember that I didn't leave on my own. You know I don't like that."

"I know but I can't help it. You were such a big impact on my life, and now I can't contact you." he leaned over and gave her a hug, but that's when reality became to come back to him.

He wasn't on the edge of a cliff with his friend, not anywhere close. The boy was just sitting on the edge his bed and staring at his fish tank. He was merely just imagining the entire thing. Realizing this, he had begun to cry, ignoring everything.
