And guess what. While he was gone, Meliodas joined the Goddesses in the holy war. Zeldris had also executed the entire Vampire clan. When he came home. He saw everyone he had ever known. Dead. His parents, his siblings. His friends. Even his secret Boyfriend. All dead. He was never the same afterwards. The demons he used to think of as friends. All he wanted to do is murder them. He was filled with hatred that he attempted to kill the demon king. Failing, he was cursed to have eternal life, living with his regret of not being able to lift a finger to save his family.
