Maria Also Didn't Have Any Siblings And Was The Only Child And She Wasn't Able To Go To School Like Other Monsters Her Age Due To Financial Troubles, Maria Was Eventually Able To Have Her Own Job And Move Out Of Her Family's Home And Live Her Own Life Which Became Hard As Maria Worked Her Butt Off To Go To Collage And Percude A Career And Future At Monsters University In Hopes To Become A Scarier Herself And Find Her Place But That Was Easier Said Than Done..As It Wasn't The Bestest Place To Be And Maria Struggled Being In Collage And It Didn't Help That She Wasn't Always The Smartest And Struggled To Learn Certain Things But She Was Rather Successful And Was Able To Push Through Despite The Mishaps."

"But Maria Did Eventually Leave The University In Order To Find Something She Was Truly Passionate About Which Was Her Love For Art Which Worked In Her Favor As She Was Able To Sell Many Of Her Paintings Which Got Her Talent Recognized And She Was Even Able To Sell Some Of Her Paintings As Well Too, And Along With That, During Maria's Collage Years, She Ended Up Meeting And Dating Sully Sullivan Himself And The Two Had A Loving And Nice Relationship In The Beginning And Their Relationship Was Actually Genuine With Sully Trying Caring For Her And Being The One Person That Was There For Maria During The Hardest Points In Her Life, But It Wasn't Until Johnny Entered The Picture That Things Stated To Go Downhill That Started To Strain Their Relationship. The Two Started To Drift Apart As Sully Started To Becoming More Of An Ignorant Jerk And Treating Her Like Shit And Like She Was Beneath Him Because Of His Status And Being Viewed As Above Of Everyone At The University And Him Being Around Johnny And Becoming More Popular Didn't Help Either, And So Maria Ended Up Making The Tough Decision To Break Up With Sully And Cut Ties With Him, Not Wanting Anything To Do With Him Anymore, She Still Loved And Cared For Him Deep Down But After How He's Treated Her And Acted, It Hurt Her And She Didn't Wanna Be With Him Anymore But She Assured Sully She'll Always Care For Him No Matter What, After Breaking Things Off With Sully, Maria Ended Up Finishing Her Semesters And Leaving The University And Moving On. Years Later, She Was Now Living In Monstropolis And Worked As A Busy Waitress While Still Doing Her Art Career And Passion At The Side At Home."
