In honor of the day I'm going to post a horror story I needed to write for English class here. It's related as it follows a situation that Erik gets himself into. It's extremely short and I hope you like it!

I stood over my unhealthy companion. I quickly fed him the concoction I made him in a haled attempt to save his life. He lay, writhing on the ground, before finally taking his final breath.

I stood in shock. An almost august silence blanketed the damp and dusky room as I stared into the never seeing eyes of my best friend.

I knew that couldn't save his life but I could avenge it. I suddenly felt the most impetuous desire to get back at the man who committed this audacious crime!

For the first time in what seemed like centuries I left the small cellar in which I made my home - if one could even call it that. I sulked in the shadows and with my torn habiliments floating in the wind, I must have looked very spectral in the moonlight. I paid no attention to this and walked as quickly as I could to my destination. I felt the noose in my coat pocket and smiled at the thought of it tightening around that evil rat's puny neck!

Finally, I waltzed into the bar into which my opponent resided. I sulked into the shadows of the candlelit room and stood directly next to the brown haired man I wished to kill so badly.

I took the noose from my pocket and gently placed it around his neck. I took one last glance at the man and smiled. And then I pulled.
