Amara Ally Chang is the adopted sister of Corki Chang. Her father abandoned her before she was born and her mother died in child birth. Mr. Chang adopted her and made sure to shower her with the same amount of love he gave Corki. He also made sure she was well educated, wanting her and Corki to grow up successful and independent.

To make sure they don't get distracted, he sends them to Mackendrick prep so they can focus on their education. Both girls were determined to make their father proud. But when they meet their roommates, they find themselves getting more than what they bargained for.
