A few days later

Aron called Alaric to talk with him so Alaric after dropping Aliyah at mansion he went upstairs to Mr Rivas. He knocked on his study and opening the door he went inside closing it behind him.

"Good evening Mr Rivas" Alaric greeted nodding at Aron.

"Very good evening Alaric. How are you?" he asked putting his work sheets aside and glancing at Alaric.

"Well you can say I'm alive" Alaric spoke in sarcastic way. Hearing his words Aron chuckled and standing up from his chair he went to couch and gestured Alaric to take a seat.

"I can say you're having hard time while being with Aliyah but son please make sure she's safe. I'm concerned about her" Aron spoke pouring tea for Alaric.

"Aliyah took her mother's death to heart and she stopped talking and smiling like before. She's not herself and I'm worried about her that she'd go depression again.... " Aron trailed while Alaric listened to him patiently.

"Please be with her, she feels lonely. I know it must be hard to spend time with her than being with your friends but I don't trust anyone with my daughter. I hope you got my point Alaric" Alaric nodded and stood up bidding byes to Aron he left to his home.

After taking a hot shower he changed into casuals and sat on bed grabbing his phone. He went to inbox and opened her chat...

You've to be here by 7 am so that we can have breakfast together and can leave to university

As you're in your final year.. I guess you'll not have many classes so you must sit beside me in my class.. I'll talk to faculty

And we're going to eat lunch together after that you're going to drop me home by 6 pm

He scrolled down the rules she sent a week before. He's not ready to follow them but he decided to consider them after talking to Aron.

He left to take dinner with his parents and after working on his project he went to sleep.

The next day they both went to university as Alaric have no classes he accompanied Aliyah to her class and sat beside her. The murmuring continued until the professor stormed inside starting his lecture....

After sometime Aliyah got bored and glanced at Alaric who's playing game on his mobile. Dropping her pen on notebook Aliyah let her eyes take in his features from his forearms and up to his face.

She stared at him thinking how the hell they haven't met before. While checking him she had a question of from whom he got his hot looks. She looked around and found most of the girls were staring at him in a way only she could think of. She felt a pang of jealousy and openly glared at all of them causing them to look away. Only after a moment she realized what she has done and shook her head from those thoughts only sticking on to a single note which is he's not her boyfriend.

She can't help but snatch his mobile away which is entertaining him causing him to totally ignore her presence. This act of hers earned a glare from him but she just smiled innocently and pushed her notebook towards him. Alaric gave her a bewildered look "Help me write the notes" she mumbled pointing her finger onto the white board.

He gave her a pointed look before shaking his head "Please Alaric, I'm bored listening to class"

"How am I supposed to listen to your classes. I'm not even in your department girl!" he said reasoned looking at her.

"Pretty please" She pouted giving her puppy eyes, he gave up shaking his head. Grabbing the pen he started writing notes. Seeing this a smile crawled up on Aliyah's face and she resumed the game which he's playing before on his mobile.

Although Alaric had a hard time spending time with Aliyah, he made sure that she's comfortable at University and also started eating food with her along with his friends Kain and Kirin. The days soon passed by Aliyah found herself falling to Alaric while he's restless running behind her and listening to her tantrums.

On Friday evening they went to shopping mall as Aliyah wanted to have a look at new fashion deciding to buy some clothes "Hello Miss!" a lady greeted her. Aliyah responded with a smile and kept looking for dresses which might catch her eye.

"How can I help you mam?" the same lady asked.

"Oh its okay. I want to see them myself. Thank you!" Aliyah replied and shooed the sales lady from their sight.

Aliyah looked behind and spot Alaric leaving the store silently "Where are you going?" She asked making him to halt in the spot, he cursed under for getting caught by her and turned around frowning at her....

"Come here" she stated. He rolled his eyes and walked towards her "Help me pick some dresses" she chirped and continued to look around for dresses.

"Which type you'll prefer? Material? Model? Brand?" she asked him and he looked at her confused and asked "Don't you wear clothes according to your taste?"

"I must like them!" Aliyah stressed on word 'like'

"Then why are you asking about my preference?" Alaric asked strolling beside her with his hands shoved in jean pockets..

"Hmm... To see whether our tastes match or not?" Aliyah blurted without thinking twice and bit her tongue.

"What do you mean by that? Why should it match our tastes?" He asked halting his step and narrowing his eyes at her.

"It's nothing. You can leave. I'll call you once I'm done" she tried to walk away from him.

"Wait" he grabbed her hand and turned her around.

"You said you wanted my help in choosing" she nodded without looking at his eyes.

After an hour Alaric was waiting for her to come out from trial room. He chose a few dresses and asked her to try them. Aliyah stepped out with dresses in her hand and walked towards him "As you said they're all not so comfortable. So I chose only these two" she spoke pointing at the ones in right hand.

He nodded and went to bill counter. They stood in queue for their turn while doing so Aliyah got a doubt and turned to him "How do you know so much about what a woman likes?"

Her question made him to went back to those memories and his face went stone cold "I'll be waiting for you outside" saying this he left the store.

Aliyah was taken back by his behavior and thought of many possibilities what might have happened to him. After paying she left the store and got two ice creams before walking to where Alaric is sitting.

Taking a seat beside him she nudged his elbow getting his attention. He looked at her before his eyes fell on the ice cream cones, she handed him one and started eating looking ahead. Aliyah asked him "Can I ask you a question? Why don't you often show any emotions on your face?"

He didn't even bothered to look at her and kept eating his ice cream. It angered her "Alaric, I asked you something!"  She gritted beside him.

"Don't you have feelings inside? Why will you give only one face expression for everything?"

"I've never seen you expressing pain, anger, longing all at same time. This is the first time - in the store awhile ago. What happened?"

She waited and waited for him to say something but all she got in return is silence. Deciding on closing this topic she spoke "Don't bottle up your emotions Alaric. Let it all out, you'll feel better!" finishing her ice-cream she got up to leave. And he followed her to drop her home.
