(Y/n) POV

Footsteps and Panting.

That's all that could be heard from our group of three, Garroth, Aaron, and I, as all three of us ran through the woods, Garroth trailing behind me and Aaron, while we tried to sniff out Aphmau, Dante, Lucinda or Zane to find where they are.

Aaron and I kept stopping to take quick sniffs of the air before we ran farther ahead. But at some point we were going to far ahead for Garroth.

"Aaron! (Y/n)! Wait up!" He yelled out to us taking in deep breaths before running after us again.

"Guy! Where are you going?!" Garroth asked us standing a few feet behind us.

Aaron and I just ignored him taking deep breaths.

"Guys! The storm is getting worse we need to turn back! Please Aaron, (Y/n)! We will never be able to find them! Lucinda used a spell! There's no way on Earth we can track them down!" Garroth yelled at us causing Aaron's hands to clench to help calm himself, "I care about them too but were no use if we freeze to death! Aaron! (Y/n)!" Garroth kept yelling but Aaron seemed to be drowning him out. As I start to drown him out to to help Aaron find everyone.

Closing our eyes and steading our breaths  to listen around the forest for something that could help us find them.

I focused and focused specifically on Dante. Hoping to get something.

Budump Budump

His heartbeat!

"I can hear her! She this way!" Aaron said pointing towards the same direction I heard Dante.

The both of us bolt down that direction Garroth trailing behind us.

After running for a small bit I hurt to a stop Aaron not long after. I listen closely and sniff the air.

"Guys?" Gartoth asked confused.

"Someone's here," I speak looking around, walking forward, "come out we know your there!"

Soon after the wolf lady walks out from behind a tree.

"T-this is the girl with the wolves!" Garroth exclaimed with a stutter.

"You had something to do with this, didn't you?" Aaron asked sternly, voice low.

"Aaron! You need to leave........ You need to leave now!" She told him a saddened look on her face.

"I won't. I'm going to bring her back!" Aaron said sternly no one being able to change his mind.

"You can't follow her!"

"Please stand aside."

"No! I won't!"

"(Y/n)," Aaron said over to me as he still looked a the wolf girl pleadingly.

I looked over at him braking my gaze on the wolf lady, "Yeah?"

"You go on ahead. Garroth and will catch us soon," he told me as he continued to keep his gaze on wolf lady.

I nod my head and ran past the lady as she tried to grab my arm to stop me from leaving but I was too fast for her. I got past her and ran towards where I heard Dante. Now looking for Aphmau's heartbeat as well.

No POV

"No!" Wolf Lady said wthing you run off into the woods, "She's gone forget about her!" She said referring to Aphmau.

"I will NEVER!" Aaron said angered.

"If you continue, He- he will kill you! And your sister! Don't you understand?!"

"What?! (Y/n)!" Garroth said worried about you after hearing this new information, "What is going on!"

"Please! Let me protect you!"

Aaron just walked you to wolf lady and said, "Please. She's my world," he asked her pleasingly.

"No. No! He'll hurt you!"

"Please..... she's everything to me."

It was silent as she looked down contemplating wether or not to let him go.

"Fine. But please listen to me. I didn't want antojarte in this! You have to understand! This wasn't my fault!...... It wasn't my fault!" She said as she began to cry.

"Shhh..... it'll be okay," Aaron said help comfort her, "Please.... Tell us what's going on. You can help us," he said as she let out a sob, "Help me understand. Who wants to hurt me and my sister? Why did they take Aphmau?" He asked her softly.

"But... He'll hurt me. He'll hurt my pack."

"I won't let him... Now please.. Tell me everything."

"I saw you and your sister help the wolf pup he had left for dead. Why?? Why did you help him?"

"He.... didn't deserve to die. No one deserves to die."

"You promise to help us?" She asked him quietly.

"Yes, I promise. Please, help me find her," Aaron begged.

"Aaron, who is she, what's going on?!" Garroth asked freaked out.

"My Name is Tatiana. I am... a female, wolf."

"Uhh.... werewolf!" Garroth said.

"No," Aaron said.

"I am not a werewolf!! I am a wolf, you understand?!?!" She yelled back at Garroth as she began to cry again.

"What?!?!?!" Garroth asked scared and confused.

"I was once a wolf, a pure blood wolf!" She started explaining to the two men in front of her, "I ran, I hunted, nature was my home and it accepted me....... now it rejects me and human I've become!"

"Aaron, what do we do?" Garroth asked walking up to said person.

"Just listen," Aaron told him as Tatiana began her story from when her horror began.

"A man shrouded in black has come to the cave we had called home. And one by one.... began to slaughter my pack. In desperation to stop him, I threw myself at his feet. He spoke, as I looked up at him, he revealed to me that he was a werewolf. I had never seen a werewolf before, it was frightening. I begged him to spare my pack... and he did. But he demanded to become alpha in my pack, and take control of the pack. It was cruel, such a cruel way to become Alpha, but I gave in. I needed to save my people! He removed a Emerald from our cave. And then forced me to follow him. He took me to a lodge. Where a man with the eyes of a snake waited. The werewolf handed him the emerald, and with it the snake eyed man created a potion. Then, just as it was completed. He handed it to the werewolf. He turned to me. And used it to transform me into a human. It was the first time I had human legs. It was the first time, I get so weak."

"I'm so sorry. I'm so sorry you had to go through that," Aaron spoke when she finished explaining everything.

"How can we trust her, Aaron!" Garroth complained.

"I trust her, she needs help," Aaron said back.

"But he wasn't done with us." Tatiana stared again, "The strange werewolf then made us gather more of those... emeralds. Not just ordinary emeralds, but emeralds containing traces of raw Power. But they weren't for the werewolf. They were for the man with the eyes of a snake. The werewolf was just his grunt. The snake-eyed man was taking the emeralds to crest potions with effects that would last.... Forever. He made them and even had one tested on his own son! But it failed. Once all the emeralds where mined from the mountain, the snake-eyed man left. Leaving the werewolf with us."

"So.... they were making forever potions... Is that what they used on my friends?" Aaron asked her.

"Yes," she answered, "The werewolf stayed behind and tried to make the exact same forever potions for himself. He couldn't make them alone.... even with the few emeralds he had..., but then you all had shown up and he realized that the orange-haired girl, Lu- Lucinda? Could make the potions he desired. How he knew her.... I'm not sure, but he did. The he saw you and your sister, Aaron," Aaron only let out a sigh as she continued, "His blood boiled. He grew angry at the sight of you two. Especially when Aphmau arrived."

"Why?..." Aaron asked breathlessly.

"I don't know.... I don't know what you two did, but he despises you both. And he wants Aphmau. He wants her........ desperately," Tatiana told.

"I won't let him have her!" Aaron said angered his eyes stern.

"Aaron, her eyes! There green!" Garroth said pointing out the obvious, "just like Lucinda's, Dante's, and Zane's!"

"It's... not the same." Aaron told him, "her sent it's different then Lucinda, Dante and Zane's," he explained, "there green for another reason, aren't they?"

"Aaron, you and (Y/n) have been acting strange," Garroth spoke worried.

"Y-Yes," Tatiana answered Aaron's question, "It's from the forever used to transform me. I'm not controlled by the stranger werewolf. I follow him because he is our Alpha. It's what my nature tells me to do. And I cannot stop it," she explained before she fell down into the snow, in pain.

Once the pain subsides she looks up and her eyes are no longer an emerald green. They went back to their original color, red.

"Her eyes!" Garroth exclaimed seeing them a different color.

"The potion... it's..... permanent!" She gasped out saddened.

"What?" Aaron asked her not wanting to that to be true.

"These potions..... Once the eyes settle to their original color. They can never be undone," she explained with drooped eyes, "It means.... I'm stuck as a human.... Forever!"

After saying that Aaron's eyes widened realizing that it could happen to Aphmau or any of the rest too. And he started running farther into the woods following after your sent knowing you were headed towards Aphmau just for him and we're going to look for Dante after helping him.

"Aaron! Wait!" Garroth exclaimed and ran after Aaron leaving Tatiana behind screaming after them.

"Please! Don't go! He will kill you! PLEASE! Come back! PLEAAAAAAAASE!!"

(Y/n) POV

I continued running after where Aphmau was being a good distance away from where Aaron and Garroth were with the wolf lady.

I stopped to take a small brake and leaned against a tree. I looked up at the cliff near by and saw Aphmau standing there looking off into the horizon.

I waited there watching her as I waited for Aaron and Garroth to get hear while I focused on where Dante was now that I've found Aphmau.

A good time had passed by, by the time the two had showed up. I had already gotten my breath back.

"What took you two so long?" I asked as I continued to watch Aphmau my back facing the both of them.

"We'll explain later, where is she?" Aaron asked me.

"Up there," I said pointing up to her with my finger. His eyes following my direction his gaze fixating on her and not moving not even when we heard Dante and Zane screaming for their 'brother' off in the distance. Him knowing I would handle it.

"BROTHER!!" We heard Dante scream.

"Brother? WHERE ARE YOU?" We then heard Zane yell.

"Zane? ZANE?" Garroth said looking around before running towards their voices.

I sighed and turned to Aaron, "I'm going with Garroth. Good luck, Aaron," I said starting to walk away from and after Garroth before stopping in my tracks, "If you need us you know how to find us," I told him before running after Garroth after seeing him nod his head.

"Good luck~," I heard faintly from him already being so far away.

"Brother? Brother?" Zane kept asking as he and Dante looked around.

Garroth rushed over to Zane, "Zane! Zane! I'm here!"

"What? You? You aren't my brother!" Zane exclaimed to him.

"(Y/n)!" Dante said poping up behind me and wrapping his arms around my waist.

"Uhh... Hi, Dante!" I said smiling brightly at him to not make me look uncomfortable.

"Hey, (Y/n), lets go somewhere else while these two squabble," Dante said to me grabbing my hand and pulling me off somewhere away from Garroth a sad Garroth and potioned Zane.

"So...." you said awkwardly as you to walked silently.

Dante only chuckled, "Your cute," he told you causing you to blush lightly, "but besides the point do you mine helping me find my brother. He's been dying to meet you!"

"Ummm.... sure?" You replied back confused, "but weren't you and Zane both just looking for him?"

"To be honest with you, brother just wanted Zane out of the house for the time being and told me to distract Zane while he snuck off. Then for me to pretend to be looking for him with Zane and to figure out a way to sneak away and back to his little cabin," Dante explained to you swinging your hands back and forth.

"Oh... umm.... okay... Uhh," I stuttered out not knowing what to say about what he just said.

"Come on! Come meet my brother!" He exclaimed and started dragging me off to I'm assuming his 'brother's' cabin.

But boy did I not know that this was all a trap. Because on Dante's face their was a smirk and his green eyes sparkled.

"Here we are! Oh look there's Aph and Aaron!" Dante exclaimed when we were in sight of a cabin and he dragged you over to Aph and Aaron who stood in front of the cabin door.

"Dante, there you are! And you brought (Y/n) with you! Great job! Now they can both meet him together!" Aphmau exclaimed happily. Before opening the door and walking in Dante following after her. Aaron and I walking in hesitantly after them.

"Now feel free to make yourself at home. It's not a lot.... but my fiancé and I both live here happily together happily!" Aphmau said shocking me when she said fiancé. As Dante just walked away and up stairs.

"Aph! Please!" Aaron said pleadingly to her stepping forward but she just ignored him. I look around the place before seeing what was on the walls to the left and right of us. I nudged Aaron sneakily to have him look over at the wall.

The wall held photos of Aphmau back in high school. With hearts and werewolf ears and tail drawn on her.

Just as we finished looking at the pictures a cloaked figure walked down the stairs.

"Oh honey! There you are!" Aphmau exclaimed happy to see him and hugged him blushing.

"Good girl.... You've done just what I asked," he said back to her.

"Anything for you~" Aphmau says giggling like a love sick high school girl.

The cloaked figure looked away from her and over at Aaron and I, "You.... after all these years.

"You MONSTER!!!" Aaron screamed at him rushing forward, "What did you do to her?!"

The cloaked figure just cackled evilly, "Isn't it obvious?"

"Answer me!" Aaron yelled back furious.

He just cackled even more and pulled off his mask. Aaron and I's eyes widening as we both to a small step back from shock seeing who he was.

"You!!" We both yelled Aaron with anger; me with venom lacing within.

"Remember? I doubt you ever forgot...."

"Ein!" We both said venom lacing from the both of us this time. Aaron's teeth clenched.

"Take a good look at her, Aaron...... she's mine now," Ein said ticking Aaron off even more.

"What have you done to her?!" I asked as Aaron glared at Ein furiously.

"I took back what should of been mine," he answered back simply, "She's my fiancé~ And she's almost perfect."

"YOU!"

"Temper now, Aaron," Ein said back to him before he turned to Aphmau, "Darling, Why don't you go to the bedroom and get dressed in something more....... Comfortable."

"Yes, Ein! Hehe," she obliged his request giggling.

"DON'T YOU DARE!" Aaron threatened.

"Stop! You forget she is under my control. Make one wrong move and you'll regret It. That goes for the both of you," he said looking you in the eyes and smirk on his face.

"Come back when your ready, Darling" Ein said to Aphmau who nodded her head before walking away and up the stairs leaving the three of us alone.

"Now, you two and I need to talk," Ein said turning towards us, "About old times."

"There is nothing to talk about!" I said to him.

He only laughed, "Hahaha! Oh, yes there is! Do you remember, back in high school? I finally had everything I yearned for. The respect...the power... I let people walk all over me ALL for the sake of getting what I wanted. And then you both took it all away from me. The both of you and that... Mongrel Blaze!!!"

"We have no idea what your talking about," Aaron said back to him.

"Don't play dumb!!" Ein yelled not buying our act, "I found out.... you can't hide it anymore! I know it was you that day, Aaron! You where the one who dethroned me as Alpha, when I RIGHTFULLY earned it!"

"You don't earn anything!" I yelled at him, "he gave you Alpha! You were the one who manipulated people and tricked them into getting what you want. That's not something an Alpha would do!"

"I am my own Alpha. I play by my rules! And as Ultimas..... you two have no place in this world!"

Our eyes widen and our breaths hitched having nothing to say after his outburst.

"Suddenly nothing to say?" He asked cockily with a smirk, "you two must of thought you were being SO clever...... That no one would ever find out about the Ultima. You always were so smug."

"What do you know?" Aaron asked him.

"More then you think. It's not just the fairy tale most think it is. The Ultima werewolf... was the first werewolf. He turned normal humans into werewolves, and was shunned by humans and werewolves alike. His blood line still lives on. And it lives in both of you."

"You don't know what your talking about!" Aaron told him.

"On the contrary!" Ein said back, " The man who had me hunt emeralds, used to talk about the story of the first werewolves. He knew the blood like was real. He told me all about how he hunted down any information on the Ultima bloodline. A person with the ability to transform ANYONE into a werewolf mis have unimaginable power. One day my curiosity got the better of me. I had to know more. I snuck into that old man's room. Locked in his desk; was a journal of all of his findings. Do you know what i found?" He asked us teasingly.

Our heads tilted up to look at him, "Huh?"

"The Ultima werewolf. It can all be tracked back, to one family...... The Lycan family. I never knew if that old man ever found out where the Lycan family was...... But I did.
But I wasn't about to tell him that I know exactly where the Ultima werewolf was. Or should I say where the Ultima werewolves are," he said smirking at me, "Isn't that right? Aaron and (Y/n) Lycan?"

Aaron and I step back in shock our eyes wide not believing what was happening.

"Ahhahhahaha! Those looks on your faces!" He said laughing at us, "I'm right aren't I? You are the Ultima werewolves. It was all so obvious. I knew that day years ago you dethroned me, Aaron. That something was different with your ears and tail. Something about you. Even though you're mask screamed. MONSTER!"

"All of this was just to get back at me for something that happened in high school?!" Aaron yelled angered.

"This goes so much deeper then that..... like how a female was cursed with the Ultima curse when it's usually only passed down through the males. I looked into it and your nothing special. Your Ultima abilities are weaker then his. Barely to do anything!" He said to me only to cause me to look down in disappointment.

It was true a female Ultima shouldn't have been possible, but here we are. The only differences between me and Aaron is that my abilities are weaker then his. It takes me minutes to turn someone into a werewolf or human while for Aaron it only takes him seconds. And I can control my emotions better then him. The only thing that stayed the same was our bites.

Just then a door from upstairs opened up Lucinda and Michi walking out of it.

"She's ready for you, Brother," Lucinda told.

Ein laughed and looked up at them, Aaron and I looked down and away from him, "Perfect timing. Bring her to me.," he told them before stepping towards Aaron, "Tell me, Aaron, when were you planing on turning her into a werewolf? Was it in high school? Or were you waiting for something? OR were you planing on never even telling her what you really are?"

Aaron just kept looking away causing Ein's smirk to widen, "That's it isn't it? You were never gonna tell her that you are a werewolf. Not even that, you both were never going to tell ANYONE that you guys are Ultima werewolves! And you know why? Because you chose to live as DISGUSTING humans, this entire time! You hid it from everyone! So you could be one of them! Your ashamed of who you are, aren't you?!" He yelled at the both of you, " And you chose to live LIES! This entire time! Just like your father." He said just as Aphmau walked out of the room upstairs. In a blue dress, "ah the real reason I wanted you here," he said sighing looking up at Aphmau then to us.

"Oh Aphmau Darling~" he called up to her, "Come to me."

He turned to us, "you will make her a werewolf."

"We will not!" Aaron argued looking Ein in the eyes sternly.

"Heh! Just use a potion to turn her into a werewolf," Michi said, "simple!"

"You idiot Meif'wa! Hold your tongue!" Ein yelled at her, "A potion werewolf is not. A pure one! She needs to be cleansed of her disgusting humanity!!!"

"NEVER! I will never make her a werewolf against her will!" Aaron yelled defensive of Aphmau.

"I wasn't asking!" Ein yelled back and threw a potion at Aaron. He dodge it but I was standing behind him having me almost be hit by it if I didn't have good reflexes. The potion broke hitting the ground pulling a nerve in Ein.

"You...... broke my potion! How dare you?!i only had three of them!"

"We won't be pawns in your sick games!" I yelled standing next to Aaron.

"Fine....," Ein said before Aphmau reaches him, "If you won't turn her then what's the most painful thing I can do to hurt the both of you? Make you both suffer. Aphmau~" he called to her lovingly as another pair of footsteps was heard coming down the stairs, "what would you do for me?" Ein asked Aphmau.

"Anything~" she answered back to him as Dante reached the bottom of the stairs.

"What are you going to do?" Aaron asked Ein.

"Taking away the only good things you have in life," Ein said back to him looking at the both of us with an evil smirk.

He took out a potion and threw it at Aphmau before taking out another one and throwing it at Dante.

"Aph!/Dante!" Aaron and I screamed when we saw him throw those potions at them.

"What did you do?!" I screamed at Ein.

"Hahaha ha the first potion on her was for her to love me forever. His was just for me to be able to control him. The idiot things in his brother," Ein laughed angering me with what he called Dante, "The second potion was for both of them to despise your from the bottom of their hearts Forever." Ein walked up to them handing them both knives, "Kill them."

Aphmau and Dante both looked up from inspecting their knives and looked at us.

"Dante...." I said softly wanting to be able to reason with him somehow as Aaron tried to do the same Aphmau, "Dante.... please.... this isn't you. Please beat the potion. Please."

"You don't even know me," Dante said as he continued to walk towards me as walked backwards with every step he took.

"That's not true! Please, Dante, remember!" I pleaded to him desperately.

"Hah! Look at you! Look where you are now! No friends to help you! You never even spent time to make friends!" Dante spat at me.

"I-I-...." i stuttered out not knowing what to say as i just walked backwards.

Ein laughed evilly as he watched the both of us suffer, "didn't you two hear me! They now hate you more than anything in the world."

"The perfect plan, brother," Lucinda praised.

"I want their last thoughts to be of how miserable their life has become," Ein said watching us be tortured by our loved one.

Just then wolf girl comes running down the stairs and to Ein, "Alpha! Please stop this!" She begged he turned and looked at her.

"Please, Dante, I know your still in there I know you can hear me!" I cried out as I was now at the door way Aaron right next to me pleading to Aphmau, "please Dante! I know the man I love is somewhere in there! Please!"

Dante and Aphmau just kicked us threw the door and out into the cold snow.

"Please! I'll do anything just spare them! They've done nothing-" I heard wolf girl beg and pleaded to Ein, but he just ended up punching her in the face.

"Don't tell me what I can and cannot do! You're lucky I haven't erased you and the rest of your pathetic little pack!" The last thing I heard while I was being pushed back towards an edge of a cliff by the man I love. My brother next to me in the same situation.

"Please, listen!" I pleaded to Dante.

"Listen, to you? Hah! Don't make me laugh!" He said tightening his grip on his knife, "do you think you know what's best for me?!"

"Aaron! (Y/n)! Aphmau! Dante!" Garroth yelled seeing what was happening come from somewhere under the house, "Hold on!" He yelled and started running towards us.

"Stop him!" Ein told Lucinda.

"Hmm... the only reason I talked to you was because I felt pity for you! A sad little girl that never had friends before alone on her first day of high school!"

"Halt!" Lucinda yelled a spell at Garroth freezing his feet to the ground.

I looked at Dante with Sad eyes as Aaron and I now stood at the edge of the cliff that was in front of Ein's cabin.

"Dante,........ I will always love you."

"You never made me happy," Dante told me as Aphmau said the same thing to Aaron. His words hurting me so much but I had to remember he was being controlled by a forever potion.

This isn't my Dante.

"Please...."

"The only thing you can do for me is..... die." Dante said all of our happy memories flashed through my head one last time as he walked towards me and jabbed his knife into me causing me to fall backwards off the cliff to my death.
