Few months back I was having a conversation with one of my friends.. You know the kind of talk which starts from nowhere but eventually it make sense, to your least surprise. We were having that kind of conversation (To have stable and sensible conversation with me is pretty tough lol, as I make fun of every element) We talked about so much like life, death, music, magic, memories, faults, more and more we came to the matter of "happy endings." The one question which was raised was "Why Does Happy Endings Matter?"

Sometimes it is so difficult to settle with someone's else view, even though deep down in your heart you know that's truth but damn! It is so hard to accept reality every freaking time. That Conversation atmosphere changed into one - on - one rapid fire question and answer round.

So.... Why do happy endings matter? Some questions are such that you don't have any answers to it, you need to do bit of research (as currently there is my research methodology big fat book lying in front of me, I was wondering if I can apply it to not so just did *wink*), explore more about not so tricky but definitely twisted question. It's so amazing how people can have different viewpoints but they both know nothing to extreme is ever possible...!

Finally coming to the point (I know you guys are eagerly waiting for the "WHY" part) We came up with two perspectives (please readers bare with me) and I can bet million dollars if there were more than 2 persons involved in the conversation their point would be completely different.

Perspective Number 1:- "Endings are not important"

For some endings are certainly not important to be its happy or sad one (We know no one wants sad ending). They don't believe in ending of real life not also of stories. Because for them "ending is not important" What important is what you feel. How would you like to spend your life? All books, all stories, everyone's life comes to an end in the "end", so why do you want to waste your life reading a novel till the last page, why spend your life worrying about how it's gonna last? Why not make it so worth that in the end of yours, you know you lived! Enjoyed "that" story from and to each word you read...! Why not make it last long... Why not?

(That's actually true we humans already have so many things to worry about, why won't we lighten up and make the best of life and that story.. why not?)

Perspective Number 2:- "Happy Endings does matter!"

Happy Endings..! (Let me repeat, YES happy endings) does matter! We humans are so caught up in the day to day dramas, at the end of the day when the sun is settling down and all we could think about happy endings of ours (at least I think about it) Especially when we are reading a book, no matter how practical you are in your life when you are reading you would always wish for a good and happy endings. The best part is the definition of happy endings differs from one person to another. It does not always mean having "Happily Ever After", sometimes it can also to be "Independent", to achieve small things in life.

But again we arrive at the question "when" do you believe that ending takes place? We can hardly answer about the why part and here we are with the when part! You get to choose your when part, you can have happy ending "n" number of times.. It's up to you to make it happen!

Why do happy endings matter? Because this universe is so messed up that all are in search of that tiny hope of "happy" ending gets you through the hurdles you facing. Especially in books because we hardly get to see such endings, books which play as an inspiration to us.. definitely, restore our faith.
