Should I join the talent show this year but I must say not everyone who auditions get accepted?

One year I was in the office crying for not getting accepted because someone told 'oh I couldn't hear you' when I was singing as loud as I could! But I know not everyone gets accepted so maybe I might accepted for the talent show and me and 2 of my friends only ONCE got accepted and that was it that was all I only talent show I was accepted for and that was grade 1 or 2 I forgot but ya.
