Annika suddenly felt a rush of embarrassment going through her nerves. She was still not able to believe the amount of hatred stored in Sheetal's heart for her. Seeing her with Shivay obviously wont go well with her, thinking this she suddenly stood up from the bed. The expressions didnt go unnoticed by Shivay though. He was not able to understand why did she grow so uncomfortable as soon as Sheetal entered the room.

"Shivaayyy! My son, how do I even tell you how scared I felt as if I am going to be all alone in this cruel world" Sheetal cried hugging him.

"Mom! I am fine, see! I really don't understand why you ladies cry so much. Before you it was Annika I was asking not to cry and now its you." Shivay said looking at his mother wiping off her tears.

"You will never understand a women Shivay. There are a lot of shades and colours a women has, it takes ages to trace that. " she said with bitterness in her voice which Annika was able to understand.

"I agree mom" Shivay said smilingly.

"How did it happen Shivay? Haven't I told you a million times not to drive fast? Why dont you listen to me? Do you even understand what you mean to me?" Sheetal started with her bantering with tearful eyes.

Shivay was just fine smiling at this angry side of her lovely mother untill a question struck his mind.
How did he end up here?
What had actually happened?
Why was he in the hospital?

He was trying to trace back the incident which led him to this condition but no image came into his mind. He tried hard to think about the situation but he was unable to recollect any memory. The more he tried, the more his head felt like bursting. He held his head tightly and a sudden cry left his mouth.
"Ahhhh my brain feels like bursting" he managed to speak.

Annika ran towards him when she saw Sheetal staring at him. She stopped at her place but as soon as Shivay called her out in pain, she did not care about Sheetal and ran towards him.

"Shivay!! What happened? Are you okay?"

"What is wrong my son? Why are you holding your head?" Sheetal managed to speak in between her tears.

Both the ladies were trying to ask him questions, they were worried looking at his pale condition.

"Nurseeee!!!!" Shouted Annika with fear.

"I..I cant remember how did I end up here Annika. I cant think of anything. What has happened with me? What the hell is wrong" Shivay shouted before collapsing in her arms.

The nurse came to attend Shivay and asked both the ladies to go out. Sheetal started crying and cursing Annika while She was frozen at her spot. He doesn't remember anything? He has forgotten how he ended up in the hospital? How is that possible? Does this mean that the destiny was again testing their love for each other??

Annika was stunned and shocked. She didn't know how to deal with this new disaster. She was really worried and more because she knew she was responsible for this condition of Shivay.

As soon as the doctor came out, she ran towards her before Sheetal could ask anything.

"What has happened to him? Why is he not able to memorise anything about the accident?" Annika asked inconsolably.

"I am sorry to inform that he has lost his memory partially. He remembers some part of his life but not everything. We cant tell how long will he take to memorise it, it might take weeks, months or even years. In the worst case scenario he might not remember it at all is also a possiblity but you need to be patient and strong." The doctor explained.

Annika just fell on her place while Sheetal burst into crying badly. What was this game destiny playing with them? The nurse helped Annika get up but she was like a lifeless corpse.

"You all have to be really careful and strong while dealing with him. There is always a hope for every patient to be well but for that the motivation, strength and dedication from the family's side is equally important. If you all will behave like this, Shivay might not want to be well too." The doctor asked them to calm down.

"We still dont know what all part he remembers and what all he has forgotten. It can only be known once he is back to his senses. Also, he should not know that he is suffering from memory loss. Any kind of stress and mental burden might put his life in danger so be really mindful while dealing with him."
Annika and Sheetal heard the doctor say.

"I will make a move till then, Inform me when he comes back in senses." The doctor adviced the nurse and went off.

More than 8 hours had passed but Shivaay was still not in his senses. Annika really tried to send Sheetal home, so that she could eat something and rest for sometime but she only gave hateful glares to her telling her not to talk to her. Although Annika's presence was like a curse for Sheetal still she did not ask her to leave. Whatever it was, she knew Shivay was critical and If he wont see Annika once he gains consciousness, it might affect his health. The doting motherly love somehow overshadowed the hatred for Annika in Sheetal's heart.

Annika on the other hand was going through a roller coaster of emotions. She was not able to understand what all has Shivay actually forgotten! One thing which gave some relief to her was the fact that atleast he remembered her. The way he was looking at her with boundless love and care implied that he still remembered her and the relationship they shared. He also remembered Sheetal which was again a sign of peace for Annika.

Annika was so curious to know what part of his life had Shivay forgotten. She was cursing herself for putting his life in such a drastic state. The tears did not stop while she waited for him to wake up.

She always had been someone who was a toy for the destiny games. Her fate played with her and she was somewhere fine with that untill it was only about her but today when it was about Shivay, she felt choked and breathless. She could not see him getting hurt and suffering for something he was not even responsible for. Why was he going through all this? What had he done? He was someone who always loved everyone and brought out the best in them. He made her life a heaven and today he was suffering from a hell himself. Why is life always unfair with the most genuine and honest people?

Precap :- Shivay gains consciousness which comes as a shock to both Annika and Sheetal.

Hi all!
So as some of you took out time to show your love I have decided to resume updating my novels.
I wont promise for daily updates keeping in mind the availability of time but 2 updates a week are what I assure. Sunday being one day and other on Wednesday.
I will also be continuing with the other novels therefore have to divide time accordingly.

About this novel, something interesting will be coming up in further updates. All this crying and tensions will be replaced by something all of you love. Keep guessing till then.
