 From the author: Erik Nurmi was the second OC to be mercilessly killed off by yours truly. I honestly feel kind of bad for not doing some more development on his character. I think at the time, I didn't think there was much a point if I was going to kill him off, anyway. But 'Through His Eyes' is kind of a mess, anyway, and I think I just wanted to finish it as soon as possible and be done with it. Bad thinking, I know, but I've gotten better since those days.

 Despite this, I did write a short story in Leftover Pieces called "Blueprint For Life" which showed that Erik was scientist in his human life, and was asked to join the Strix because of his ambition.
