Marrinettes POV

Im early for once in class. That alone makes me hope this is a lucky day. I thought it was until I tripped over practically nothing as usual than knew it was lucky when I landed in Adrien's arms.

Somehow, Chloe DIDN'T make fun of me which I found strange even despite the recent events. What was perhaps STRANGER was that she was sitting next to Nathaniel. I looked, and then Ms. Bustier came in. She began speaking,

"Hello class before we begin we need to wait for Ms Du- oh nevermind she's here." She said. "Something wrong Marinette?" She asked.

"No of course not Ms." I replied.

"OK settle down class." She said. Class began, and I took the chance to stare at Adrien. He looked kind of disturbed. We had a good party for his birthday. His father even showed up for a brief time. Why was he sad?

Adrien's POV

I kept wondering who my soulmate was. I don't know why but it just... Disturbed me. I felt like I was incomplete unless I found her. I had the vague feeling I knew her yet I just couldn't tell why. Plagg didn't help. He just gave me cheese and advice on how to make it. It didn't do much whatsoever. I tried tearing my thoughts away and thinking on something else. I looked around and got locked on Marinette. It looked as though she just looked away from me.

I smiled, shes so sweet throwing a party for me. I was actually really happy she did. I smiled and felt better after thinking of her. But then I had a vague feeling she was connected to something. I didn't know what and I was sure it could wait till later.

Alya's POV

Adrien has been looking at Marinette, I wonder why. I ought to ask about Marinettes mark. I haven't but I hope it's Adrien. If not she'd be devastated. I'll ask her later.

Back to the narrator.

School ended and Marinette walked out. Nino walked over and asked if everyone wanted to hang out at the park.

She said yes, hoping she'd be able to ask where his mark was, and if he knew who it was. If not, then muster enough courage to confess it's her. They went to the park, and she tripped. Again. She fell on Adrien and nearly kissed him. It was impossible to confess now.

Marinettes POV

I decided to ask Adrien who his soulmate was.

"Hey Adrien, who's your soulmate? If it's pri-"

"Oh no that's OK I'd love to tell you but I don't actually know." He said. "Oh okay." I replied. I decided not to go any further as Rose came and so did Alix.

I didn't want to make it more awkward than it already was. I drew up a few designs and everyone talked, and then I gave Adrien a design.

Adrien's POV

I loved Mari's designs. They were perfectly flawless. But as I looked at it, I looked at her initials and saw M.D.C and froze. It made sense. She loved designing and these were her initials. But how? I mean, she's just a friend.

But then again....

I said to everyone, "Excuse me but I need to speak with Mari can you guys wait? It'll be just a moment." And they all nodded. Mari got up and walked with me and asked,

"Adrien what's wrong?" I replied and said,

"You're my soulmate?" She turned pale and opened her mouth but nothing came out. Then finally, she gulped and spoke.

"Y-yes." "I tried to tell you but.." she gulped again. "You could have been mad at me" I stared. I couldn't believe it. "I-Im sorry for disappointing you." And ran off. I tried to find her but she was too fast.

What have I done?
