Marinette woke up to the pleasant sunshine and the bird song. She was excited as it was her birthday. Tikki of course, being a good kwami, greeted her and wished her a good birthday. Marinette then remembered her mark, and began to look for it. She couldn't find it and began to panic.

"Tikki, where could it have gone?" Marinette asked.

"Perhaps on your ear? Several miraculous holders had it on they're ear." Tikki replied.

Marinette looked, and sure enough, it was on her right ear. She looked at it and, the initials A.A symbol it also had a slight green streak on it. "Huh?" Marinette wondered. Wait....A.A? Hmm.....Who has that....Wait....Adrien...Agreste...

Wait WHAT?

Not to far across town....

"I'm so excited! My birthday is in a week! I can't wait!" Adrien thought.

"Jeez kid keep it down I'm trying to eat." Plagg said.

"I was thinking though." Replied Adrien. "I don't care, you were loud." "You owe me more camembert." Said Plagg.

"Whatever you say plagg." He replied.

Okie dokie back to Mari. And her POV.

I was just shocked. If anything I couldn't believe my luck. I expected Chat to be my soulmate because of the miraculous and had learned to accept that but....Adrien was my soulmate. Why? Is it a mistake? Well, I don't know how I'll ever tell him....It's a week till his birthday and he'll get his mark. This is gonna be soooo awkward. How am I supposed to explain what happened?

"Marinette, stop worrying." Tikki told me.

"Yea but I can't just walk over and say,

"Hey Adrien, guess what, I'm your soulmate who you only see as a friend despite my crush." "I stalk you 24-7 and have your entire schedule." And expect him not to be creeped out.

"I guess not..." Replied Tikki.
"Don't worry Marinette, I'm sure it'll be fine!" Said Tikki.

"Thanks Tikki." Replied Marinette.

Across town, a week later...Marinette being the shy bean she is hasn't told Adrien yet and has avoided him like the plague.

"Plagg!" "It's my birthday!" Said Adrien a little too loudly.

"Shuuuuut up kid I might lose my hearing." Replied Plagg. Adrien, being the romantic he is, looked for his mark instantly. He couldn't find it until he had a idea.

"Hey maybe because I'm Chat Noir it's under my ring!" He said. He looked of course, and lo and behold, it was there. The initials you ask? M.D.C with a needle and string and a pink streak was what Adrien saw. Yes, he was sad it wasn't Ladybug but at the same time, what peaked his interest was what did it stand for? He was sure he didn't know that many people with those initials. Rather than continue in thought however, he needed to go to school.

Adrien's POV

I was curious. Who could it be? Chloe? Nope no M's in her name. Kagami? No, that's not her initials. Hmmm. Not Lila, no M's there. Thank goodness too. I would rather kill myself than be with Lila or Chloe. Kagami isn't bad though....

Marrinette, late as ever, arrived.

Ms Bustier was used to it though, so she didn't even bother to address it.
Marinette sat next to Alya and Class began. The topic was soulmates and how you know them. All soulmates could have matching initials but a certain mark on the initials only match they're soulmate. Such as a flower, a streak, etc. Sometimes it's something that they do or use. It always depends.

Adrien's POV

I thought about that. I had both a streak and something my soulmate must do. It was a needle and string. With a M.C.D. Who could possibly have that? I shifted my attention however, to class.

Marinettes POV

Adrien must have been thinking...I wonder if he found out I'm his soulmate? Not likely yet. I can't wait to see his expression when I show him the party! We've been best friend's for years now.

I'm soooo happy for Alya and Nino. They're soulmates! No surprise though.

Chloe's birthday is in a few weeks. Despite being mean in the past, she's been changing since her mom stayed and she became a real superhero! Not to mention the party I threw her. I wonder who her soulmate is?

Nathan is turning 16 a week before Chloe which I'm even more curious about. I'm throwing him a party too!

Rose and Max are already soulmates surprise surprise.

Kim and Juleka recently got together but they aren't 16 yet.

Alix has been hanging out with Marc. Despite how shy he is and how direct she is, I think they'd make a good couple!
Looks like love is in the air.....

Adrien's POV

I have to find this girl! I have too....

Plaggs POV

I've been alive for THOUSANDS of years. I've never seen someone so stupid and dense! I can't believe he can't see much of anything. I've been waiting for the reveal and it's taken 2 seasons! I know teenagers are stupid but they are worse than cavemen. I wonder how Tikki can cope with such dense human beings.

Tikkis POV

I wonder what Plaggs thinking. Probably the usual "Humans are stupid, just marry cheese" ramble.... Marinette seems both happy and somehow.... Disappointed? I wonder why though. She loves Adrien. Why be disappointed? Maybe she thinks she isn't good enough but somehow, I can tell that's not it...

My POV

That reveal better happen, and FAST. Even Plagg is complaining! Btw here's my ship list. IDC if you ship it or not.
