As they were walking along the beach, he suddenly became curious. “So, if I’m your boyfriend… What’s my name again?”

“Lee Myungshin” she smiled.

“Okay! And how long have we been dating?”

She thought for a moment and then said “For three years, but we’ve known each other since middle school.”

Myungsoo nodded and then asked “And who confessed first?”

Seoyeon turned around and looked him in the eyes. She could tell he was genuinely interested in this role playing. “Let’s stop.”

“Why?”

“Because they’re gone” she turned around and continued walking.

When she was acting like his girlfriend, he was really happy. He had been dreaming about dating her since they first met, but didn’t know how to ask her out. Since she turned her back on him, it felt as though a cold wind had blown right through him.

They watched the sun set below the horizon and then headed back towards the bus station. As they arrived, they saw the owner closing up. Myungsoo ran over to him and asked “What’s going on?”

“Just closing for the night” the old man replied.

“What about the bus departing at seven?”

“Oh, that hasn’t run for a long time now.”

“What?” Myungsoo screamed “We need to get back to Seoul tonight!”

“Sorry son, but there won’t be a bus until tomorrow morning” the man replied as he patted Myungsoo on the shoulder before heading home.

“What do we do now?” Seoyeon asked nervously.

“I’ll try calling my manager” Myungsoo pulled out his phone and dialed his manager.

The phone rang twice before an angry voice answered “Myungsoo, Where the Hell are you?”

“Sorry, Hyung” Myungsoo cowered. “I thought there was going to be one more bus” he paused for a moment. “Do you think you could come and pick us up?”

“US!” the manager was shocked “Who the Hell is with you?”

“It’s complicated” Myungsoo replied.

Knowing full well what his reply meant, the manager screamed “A girl!”

“Hyung…”

“Forget it!” the manager interrupted him. “I can’t come tonight. Just take the first bus in the morning.”

“Okay.”

“And Myungsoo.”

“Yes, Hyung?”

“You have a lot of explaining to do when you get back.”

“I understand” he hung up the phone and walked back over to Seoyeon. He was surprised when he saw that she wasn’t alone. Jieun and her mother were talking to her.

Noticing that Myungsoo was coming back, Seoyeon turned and asked “What did Oppa say?"

“He said he can’t come” Myungsoo sighed. “He said to take the bus in the morning.”

Seoyeon turned to Jieun and her mother and asked “Is there a hotel close by that we could stay at?”

Jieun’s mother smiled and said "Come with us. You can stay at our place tonight.”

“Oh no!” Seoyeon raised and shook her hands in protest. “We couldn’t do that!”

Jieun’s mother approached them and took Seoyeon by the hands. “It’s not a problem. Come.” Then she pulled her along. Seoyeon turned and gave Myungsoo a pleading look, but all he did was shrug his shoulders and smirk as he walked along with them.

When they arrived at the house, Seoyeon and Myungsoo were escorted to a guest room. “You can both stay here” Jieun said with a smile.

Then Jieun’s mother came and handed each of them a change of clothes. “These are Jieun’s, I hope they fit” she said as she handed Seoyeon a pair of pajamas.

“Thank you” Seoyeon smiled and bowed.

Then she turned to Myungsoo and said “These are my husband’s, so they might be a little big for you.”

“That’s okay” Myungsoo smiled and then said “Thank you.”

Jieun’s mother then grabbed her daughter by the arm and left the room so that they could change.

Seoyeon and Myungsoo looked each other in the eyes and blushed. “You go first, I’ll wait outside” Seoyeon said as she placed the clothes down and rushed out of the room.

A few minutes later, the door opened and Myungsoo came out. “Go ahead and change.”

“Thanks” she said as she went inside. While trying to change out of her dress, the zipper got caught. She walked over to the door and asked Myungsoo to come in and help her. “Could you help me with this?” she gestured to the zipper.

Thankfully, her back was facing him, so she couldn’t see him blush. He nervously approached her and managed to free the stuck zipper.

As she felt the zipper loosen, she smiled in relief “Thank you!”

Then Myungsoo wrapped his arms around her waist and pulled her closer to him. “Do you need any other help?” he whispered in her ear.

“N...no...I…I’m…a…all s…set” she stuttered in reply.

“Okay” he said as he casually walked back out of the room.

Seoyeon turned beet red as she collapsed to the floor. “What was that?” she mumbled to herself as her heart began to race. When she was finally able to stand back up, she quickly changed and joined everyone in the dining room.

“I know it isn’t much, but I hope you enjoy it” Jieun’s mother said as she brought out a tray of bowls full of rice.

“It looks delicious!” Seoyeon smiled.

As they ate, Jieun began asking more questions. “You are so lucky to have a boyfriend that looks like L” she whined. “I hope my boyfriend looks like Sungyeol Oppa!”

Seoyeon giggled “Do you like Sungyeol Oppa?”

“Of course! He is my favorite member in Infinite!” Jieun smiled. “By the way… How long have you been dating?”

Seoyeon smiled and said “We’ve known each other since middle school, but we only started dating three years ago.”

“Oh” Jieun nodded. “Who confessed first?”

Seoyeon froze, but Myungsoo immediately answered “I did.”

“How did you confess?”

Myungsoo turned to Seoyeon and smiled “I brought her to the beach because it is her favorite place. Then as we were walking along the beach, I confessed to her.”

“What did you say?” Jieun was now completely entranced by their story.

“Seoyeon, I’m so glad that we were able to meet. You are the most beautiful woman I’ve ever known and since the moment we met, I’ve wanted to ask you…” he paused for a moment and took a deep breath before continuing “Will you be my girlfriend?” Seoyeon blushed.

Jieun turned to Seoyeon and asked “What did you say?”

“Do you really need to ask?” her mother said.

Seoyeon smiled “I said: On one condition.”

“Anything! Just name it!” Myungsoo looked at her intensely.

“That you accept my feelings in return. All the feelings I’ve kept hidden since the day we first met” she blushed some more. “Can you do that?”

Myungsoo leaned closer to her. “Of course” he said just before he kissed her. As they parted, Seoyeon blushed even more.

“Oh My God! It’s like a scene right out of a drama!” Jieun squealed.

Myungsoo and Seoyeon blushed, and then he coughed to clear his throat. “Well, that’s what happened.”

“Seoyeon Unnie.”

“Huh?”

“Why are you blushing so much?”

“Am I?” Seoyeon felt her cheeks.

Myungsoo leaned closer to her and said “You look beautiful when you blush.” Then he gave her a peck on the cheek, causing her to blush even more.

“Ya!” she screamed as she playfully hit his arm and they all laughed. They spent a couple of hours chatting some more, before retiring for the night. “Good night Jieun!” Seoyeon said before they entered their room.
