Popplio's P.O.V.

It was school time again but since it was snowing, everyone starts wearing warm jacket. It was break time and our group were gathering around the same tree that gone bald because of the snow.

Popplio: "Who would've thought it would snow pretty quicker than before."

Comfey: "I know, right? Atleast now everyone can play snow early."

Rowlet: "Yep, like those two..."

Hyde: "Think fast!!" *Threw a snowball at Pikachu*

Pikachu: "Ouch!! You'll pay!!" *Threw a snowball at Hyde*

Fennekin: *Sweatdrops* "They're really at it huh?"

Rowlet: "I don't think it's only them."

Rowlet pointed out at the other groups who were throwing snowball at each other while some of them were just sitting while watching.

Zorua: "Here goes!"

Dewott: "Ah! You ain't getting away!"

Mimikyu: "Stop dodging!"

Snivy: "Hit me if you can!"

Popplio: "Hehe, they sure are having fun."

Out of nowhere, a snowball hits my face which made me froze out of shock, I looked over and saw it was Chairo. He looked at me with a smirk on his face while holding a snowball.

Chairo: "Hehe, snowball war?"

Popplio: *Smirks* "Snowball war!!"

I quickly grabbed a the snow below me and threw snowballs towards him, but he didn't stay put and threw snowballs at me as well and the two of us laughed happily.

Chairo: "Haha! Incoming!!"

Popplio: "Hehe! You'll be sorry!!"

Brionne: "They seems so close, don't they Litten?"

Litten: *Glares at them* "Nggh..."

Brionne: "Hmm? Is there something wrong?"

Litten: "I don't know. Something about them being together kinda makes my skin crawl."

Brionne: "Hmmm... You're not jealous that she founds someone, do you?"

Litten: "Psh... Me? As if. There's no way I could be jealous at him."

Brionne: "Do you? You've been acting very strange ever since they are close to each other, that's why I'm a bit worried. You actually act the same when Hyde starts dating Popplio."

Litten: "No need to be worried, I'm alright."

His entire body suddenly starts heating up which melts the snow around him as he firmly cross his arms while glaring at both Chairo and Popplio having fun with each other.

Popplio: "Yaaargh!" * Buries Chairo under a giant snowball*

Chairo: *Pokes his face out of the snow* "Hahaha! You got me good!"

Litten: "Grr..."

Brionne: *Sigh* "... Oh Litten..."

Chairo's P.O.V.

A few hours has passed and it's finally home time, but I remembered that me and Popplio need to do something so I quickly prepare myself by checking my locker for my stuffs.

Chairo: "... Alright Chairo, you can do it. You're doing this for her sake, so don't let her down..." *Closes the locker*

Litten: "Let who down?"

Chairo: "GYAH! Oh, hey Litten. What's up?"

Litten: "Why were you talking to yourself?"

Chairo: "N-Nothing to worry about, it's okay." *Sweats a bit*

Litten: "... You and Popplio are off somewhere, aren't you?"

Chairo: "Well, yeah. We are off to—"

Litten: "Date?"

Chairo: "Wh-What?! No! That's not it! We—"

Litten: "Don't you dare lie to me! You two are awfully close and it's start to piss me off!" *Creates flame on his fist* "If you did something bad to her, I swear!"

He was trying to take a step forward at me before we realized everyone in the corridor were looking at us which made him stop, I quickly grabbed something from my pocket.

Chairo: "Sorry for this, Litten."

I threw a smoke bomb below us which fogs the entire corridor, luckily the smoke was safe to breathe so no one is coughing.

Litten: "What in the?! Hey! Where did you ran off to?!"

After running through the foggy corridor, I finally got out and saw Popplio was there waiting for me.

Chairo: *Pants*

Popplio: "Chairo? Is something wrong?"

Chairo: "Nothing... Almost caught in a fight, but I'm fine."

Popplio: "Well... we should go. It's going to be dark soon."

Chairo: "Yeah, let's go."

Litten's P.O.V.0

That blasted Chespin! What does he think he is?! The fogs finally faded away as I quickly ran out of the school, but then I came across Brionne who was waiting for the bus.

Litten: "Dang it!"

Brionne: "Huh? Litten? What happened?"

Litten: "Chairo... I think he is on a date with Popplio."

Brionne: "They did? Awww~ I'm so happy for her—"

Litten: "Grr! Have you seen them anywhere?!"

Brionne: "Well, I happened to see them walked by just over there."

Litten: "Can you come with me? I wanna know what he's up to."

Brionne: "huh? But the bus is—"

Litten: "My Dad will take us! Come on!" *Grabs her hand and ran off*

Brionne: *Blushes* "W-Wait! Slow down!"

The two of us ran off as we look around before we found both Chairo and Popplio in front of a hot chocolate stand. We then hide behind the bushes as we peek to see what they are up to.

Brionne: "L-Litten, isn't spying on someone is a little bit... weird?"

Litten: "I'm just trying to keep Popplio safe. Who knows what he would do to her!"

Popplio: "Aww man, I don't have enough money..."

Chairo: "Wait, I have some extra money. I might be able to cover up for two of us."

Popplio: "Oh! Thanks Chairo! Sir, two cups of hot chocolate please!"

Bibarel: "Coming right up!"

Brionne: "Buying hot chocolate under the snow together? That's like a winter date for me."

Litten: "Grr..."

Bibarel: "Thank you! Come again!"

Popplio: "Mmm~ It was a good idea to buy hot chocolate on the way!"

Chairo: "I figured that the two of us can't stand cold, so this is an option."

Popplio: "Come on! We're almost there!"

Chairo: "Yeah."

Litten: "There? Where are they heading?"

Brionne: "Hey Litten! I bought hot chocolate for both of us!"

Litten: "Huh? Oh, thanks." *Finishes the hot chocolate in one gulp*

Brionne: "What the?! That was still hot!"

Litten: "Don't question my heat resistance. Now let's go."

Me and Brionne keeps on following the two somewhere until we saw them heading towards a place we never imagined they would go to, the cemetery.

Brionne: "C-Cemetery? Why did they go here?"

Litten: "Ngh... Something isn't right here. We should see what he's up to."

We started to follow them in as we hide from one tombstone to another while following them until we saw them stopping in front of one particular tombstone.

Litten: "What are they doing?"

Brionne: "Wait, listen."

Chairo: "So this is where your mother is buried?"

Popplio: "...Yes, I lost her a few days after I joined Alolan High School. I... I never get to say goodbye to her..."

Chairo: "... I understand that feeling. I never get to say goodbye to my Dad after he sacrificed himself for me after I hatched..."

Popplio: "... I miss her so much..."

Chairo: "I bet you made her so proud right now."

Popplio: "You... You really think so?"

Chairo: "Yeah. You've made so many friends in a school that you weren't familiar with in the first place. And you've grown stronger by the day. There's no way that your Mom won't be proud of you."

Popplio: *Tears up* "I hope she thought the same thing..."

Chairo: "I'm sure that she does."

Brionne: "Oh... They're actually visiting Popplio's mother's grave..."

Litten: "... Grah dang it! What am I thinking?! I'm such a fool!"

Brionne: "Litten..."

Litten: "We're going Brionne. I'm going to call my Dad to pick us up."

Brionne: "... Alright."

What am I even thinking in the first place? What a fool I am... The two of us then left the cemetery, leaving them do what they are doing.

3rd Person P.O.V.

Chairo: "Hey Popplio. There's something I wanna say to your Mom, if you don't mind."

Popplio: "Oh? Well, I guess it's okay."

Chairo: *Looks at the tombstone* "I uhh... never met you before in my life. But I know that you've done well to keep Popplio safe. I assure you that I too will do my best to protect her, and her friends as well."

Popplio: *Blushes* "Ch-Chairo..."

Chairo: "... I've said my piece. Do you have anything to say?"

Popplio: "Well, I do." *Looks at the tombstone* "Mom, I really miss you so much. I promise to do my best for the sake of our family's name. And I will protect my friends no matter what."

Chairo: *Smiles* "We should visit Shiro's next."

Popplio: "Yeah."

Both Chairo and Popplio arrived at Shiro's tombstone, looking at it with a bit of sadness in their heart.

Chairo: "Oh Shiro... I still can't believe you have to leave so soon..."

Popplio: "I can't believe as well..."

Chairo: "... Shiro? I'm trying my best keep the promise you told me. I'm trying my best to protect my friends and family, and that's all that matters. I'll see you soon in the afterlife."

Popplio: "Well, the things I wanna say to you are kinda the same as Chairo's. And... I miss you buddy. I hope you're happy in the afterlife."

Chairo: "I guess that's all. Let's head home; it's going to be dark soon."

Popplio: "Yeah. And the snow is getting thicker too."
