Popplio's P.O.V.

I run from upstairs down to the living as I was Chairo and Litten waiting for me in front of the door, they really wear some neat costumes. Chairo was wearing a spiky eared Pichu costume while Litten was wearing a knight costume.

Popplio: "Hey! Sorry I'm late! You two looked great!"

Chairo: "I like your Diancie costume, you look so beautiful."

Popplio: *Blushes* "R-Really?"

Chairo: "Yep!"

Litten: "Ahem! So, Popplio? Where is this guts' test take place?"

Popplio: "Hyde said it's at Gourgeist Swamp."

Litten: "That cursed swamp? Now this is interesting."

Chairo: "Will it be alright? What if it was really cursed like others said it was?"

Popplio: "Well, if everything goes wrong, blame it on Hyde."

Chairo and Litten: "Agree."

Hyde: ""Achoo! Why does it feel like someone is talking about me?"

Litten: "So? We got everything we need for this?"

Chairo: "Flashlights, pocket knife, quick aid kits, check."

Popplio: "Some snacks, snacks, and even more snacks, check!"

Chairo: "Are you really just bringing some snacks?"

Popplio: "Well duh! They are important!"

Chairo: (I should've known when it comes to her...)

Litten: "Well Chairo? Can you open a portal for us?"

Chairo: "Huh? We're not with Incineroar?"

Litten: "What makes you think my Dad will allow us to go on a cursed swamp all by ourselves in the middle of the night?"

Popplio: "Make sense."

Litten: "Chairo? If you would."

Chairo: "Roger."

Chairo opens a portal for us then we jumped into it one by one. Not after long, we arrived in front of the Gourgeist Swamp where everyone is waiting for us.

Popplio: "We're here!!"

Rowlet: "About time you guys showed up."

Hyde: "Eeey! Popsicle!"

Chairo: "Did we miss something?"

Snivy: "Don't worry; we were just here as well."

Zorua: "You three look super!"

Litten: "You guys are too. And Dewott didn't start any fight again, right?"

Mimikyu: "Luckily not."

Brionne: "Hey Litten! You look super handsome~!"

Litten: *Blushes* "Hehe, you look cute as well."

Brionne: *Blushes* "Aww thanks~"

Popplio: "..."

Chairo: "Popplio, let it-"

Popplio: "Go? Yeah, I already know. I'm actually feeling bland now when seeing them."

Litten: "Well good for you then."

Hyde: "Alright guys! Now we will have to go on pairs to get through this swamp and we have to come back to the same spot again after 3 hours, got it?"

Comfey: "3 hours huh?"

Zorua: "Sounds good to me."

Hyde: "I've picked the pairs for this guts' test. Fennekin will be with Comfey."

Fennekin: "Oh! This is exciting!"

Comfey: "Yeah! We'll venture the swamp together!"

Hyde: "Rowlet with Mimikyu."

Rowlet: "Obvious choice."

Mimikyu: "Agree."

Hyde: "Dewott with Braixen."

Dewott: "I shall protect my queen with all my might!"

Braixen: *Mumbles* "That's worrying... But atleast he got guts"

Hyde: "I will be with Shinx."

Shinx: "Oh? Okay then."

Zorua: (He better protect her...)

Hyde: "Zorua with Snivy."

Snivy: "Oh? Not a pick I'd hope for."

Zorua: "What? You're not hoping to be paired up with me?"

Snivy: "... No."

Zorua: "Ouch."

Hyde: "Pikachu will be with Tuki."

Tuki: "I hope this will go well."

Pikachu: "I hope the same too, my girlfriend would be worried about me."

Tuki: "Same goes for my boyfriend."

Hyde: "Litten with Brionne."

Brionne: "Yay!!" *Hugs Litten softly*

Litten: *Blushes* "Aww Brionne~"

Hyde: "Last but not least, Chairo with Popplio."

Chairo: "Huh?"

Popplio: *Blushes* "W-Wait what!?"

Litten: "What the heck Hyde?! Why are you pairing Popplio with Chairo?!"

Hyde: *Smirks* "Because I can."

Litten: "You're setting this up aren't you?"

Hyde: "Hehe... Maybe?"

Litten: "Why you little—"

Chairo: "Litten, please. Popplio begged us to get along, so please—"

Litten: "What?! So you can do something bad to her?!"

Chairo: "Huh? I didn't said that."

Litten: "As if I believe you!!"

Popplio: "SHUT UP!!!"

Everyone looked at me and their expression turned into a scared look as they saw me is now coated with dark aura as if I'm ready to chew the two up.

Popplio: "I want to have a very fun and scary Halloween. If you two dare to ruin it with this senseless argument just because of the kiss, then I'm going to chew you two up senseless... UNDERSTOOD!?"

Chairo and Litten: *Sweats a lot* "YES! UNDERSTOOD!"

Popplio: "Hug it out."

Litten: "But-"

Popplio: "NOW!!"

The two of them yelps in shock before they quickly hug each other out of fear which made my dark aura slowly vanish as I finally calm down.

Popplio: *Smiles* "Good! Let's have some fun Chairo!"

Chairo: "Eh?"

I grabbed Chairo's hand and dragged him off as we walked off into the swamp first, leaving everyone flabbergasted.

Snivy: "I-I guess my big sis misjudged her..."

Rowlet: "That's Popplio for you."

Hyde: "Well I guess we better head in as well."

Zorua: "Yeah! Let's get to it!"

Litten: *Groans*

Brionne: "Are you okay Litten? You seem troubled."

Litten: "I'm fine... so fine!"

Brionne: "Uhh... okay? Let's head in."

Litten: "Yeah, good idea."

It's been 30 minutes ever since we scatter all over the forest, me and Chairo was still walking around the swamp carefully while holding our own flashlight to light up the way.

Chairo: "Geez... this swamp is a real bothersome..."

Popplio: "No kidding... I should've wear boots."

Chairo: "Hey Popplio? Do you believe in ghost?"

Popplio: "Hmm? Well, do YOU believe in ghosts?"

Chairo: "I've meet up with various pokemon in my life, and since ghost pokemon exists, I wouldn't be surprised to meet one."

Popplio: "I see."

Chairo: "Hey, Popplio?"

Popplio: "Hmm?"

Chairo: "I... I'm sorry that I kissed you out of nowhere, I didn't mean it..."

Popplio: *Blushes* "Oh... uh... I guess that's fine, it happens."

Chairo: "Really?"

Popplio: "Yeah, I know you didn't mean it. Just... don't do it again, okay?"

Chairo: "Hopefully I won't..."

Just when we were about to went passed a tree, a bunch of Zubats flew out of the tree which made me yelp and I jumped into Chairo's chest.

Popplio: "Eek!"

Chairo: "Oof. It's okay Popplio, it's just some Zubats."

It was a silence for a minute before I notice I was on Chairo's chest which made me blushes madly before I slap his face.

Popplio: "I-It's not what you think it is, you idiot!" *Stomps away*

Chairo: "Why am I the only one who gets slapped...?"

Meanwhile, Hyde and Shinx were walking down a path that has muddy water all over it which made it hard for them to walk.

Shinx: "A-Are you sure this is a good idea, Hyde?"

Hyde: "Of course I'm sure! And I'm sure everyone is having fun as well!"

Shinx: "More to having a spooky time..."

Hyde: "Hey Shinx, I can't help but wondering one thing."

Shinx: "Hmm? What is it?"

Hyde: "I might be delusional, but somehow... I don't feel like you're a boy."

Shinx: "Huh?! Wh-What makes you say that?!"

Hyde: "Maybe it's because of my experience with Popplio or other girls that makes me able to tell which are boys or girls despite their appearance."

Shinx: "... Well..."

Hyde: "Hmm?"

Shinx: "I have to be honest, I—Huh?"

Their legs suddenly got stuck into the mud. But not only that, the mud they are stuck is entirely black.

Hyde: "Huh? Wh-What the?! I can't move my legs!"

Shinx: "Grr! I-I can't get out!"

???: "I got you two where I want~"

Hyde and Shinx: "Huh?!"

The mud under their feet suddenly burst out and grabbed their body as they slowly sinking down into the mud which made them scream in terror.

Hyde: "Gah!! HELP!!!"

Shinx: "NO!! Uggh!! HELP US!!"

???: "No one will save you~"

Just when they are about to sunk down into the black mud, they witnessed a Gourgeist flying towards them and she was smiling evilly.

Gourgeist: "For you two will be my new ghost friends~"

Hyde and Shinx: "AAAAAAHHHH!!!"

When the two drown deep into the mud, they slowly came out of it but as ghosts instead.

Gourgeist: "Now then~ There's still more visitors in our forest, shall we make friends with them~?"

Hyde: "Yes~ More friends~"

Shinx: "Hooray~"
