Three | The Confrontation
• • • •
"You two are fucking crazy" Louie calls out as he joins us, he takes my hand in his before twirling me into his arms instead of Tabitha, I repeated my actions and pressed my ass into his front and moved my hips to the music.
Tabitha pressed herself against my front, moving to the music as well, the lights were blinking as the crowd in the club went crazier.
Serena and Claire had fun with Janet. We only lived in our world, nobody else was here. It was just us.
Louie started kissing down my neck, I moaned. Tabitha grinned as we kept moving to the music. We danced for hours, teasing, and having fun.
The drunker we got the funnier it became.
"Alex!" Serena's panicked voice brought me back to earth, Serena pushed Louie and Tabitha aside– she pulled me closer and leaned closer to my ear.
"Oscar just walked in. How the hell is he showing up here?!" Serena hissed at me. I turned to look at the entrance and saw him indeed walk in with his crew.
My face hardened at the sight, without breaking my gaze, I pulled Louie back.
"Get everyone out of here– now, don't let anyone know something's wrong" I tell him and he nods, he didn't question anything.
"Let's head out, we have races to catch" I called out to my brothers and Marcus, while Louie pulled our crew aside.
"Sure, we're getting bored here anyways" Jake said, baiting it. I could sense Marcus look at me with suspicion. I ignored him and nodded before throwing jackets at everyone to get them out of the club in a hurry.
I didn't get far as an arm grabbed my bicep and pulled me back into the dance floor–I turned to see Oscar, a lump formed in my throat as I saw the smirk on his face.
His left hand held my arm, the other hovered over my injured side.
"I've been looking for you"
I look over his shoulder and I see everyone pausing as they see the commotion between us, Serena looks back and forth and I signal a 'no' to her with my eyes.
"Oh, why?" I ask, playing stupid.
"You know why" He says through gritted teeth, his right hand pressed into my injured side, making me almost scream out in pain, I hold onto his shoulders and dig my nails into his skin.
I bite my tongue hard and scrunch my face in pain, I try to push it down as he holds me in place and I hold onto him for support.
"Oh, you're growing quiet now? Huh?" Oscar retorts in my face– my lip trembles as he keeps pressing into it.
"Not so tough now, are we?" He snaps at me.
I can't take the pain anymore and so my fist smacks into his face, his nose breaks instantly and blood flows out of his nose, onto my fist as well.
I speed walked away from him, Serena and Louie walked after me, satisfied with what I did– but my brothers, Claire and Marcus stood frozen on the spot.
"Let's get out of here, yeah?" I suggest and they follow confused. Louie gets onto my motorcycle as he knew I was in too much pain to drive, I put on my helmet–not so gracefully– and get on behind him and I hold my side as the pain spreads.
I take a quick look at my hand and see fresh blood from my side and I curse under my breath.
I keep quiet as we take off on the way— I see Marcus trying to keep up, probably because he wanted answers and was curious as hell.
"Turn you fucking moron!" I shout at Louie with a grunt of pain. He turns at the last second as he almost misses the exit– we pull up into Jake and Terry's house.
I get off of my motorcycle and I grab Claire's hand to get her attention. "I need your help" I whisper to her and she nods immediately.
I hold my side discretely as we walk inside. "What the hell was that about?" Jake shouts confused.
Serena and Tobias tried to take control of the situation, while Claire and I disappear upstairs to my old room— which was to be turned into the baby's room.
My old bed was still there. I cringed at the thought of what had happened here with a certain someone, but even so, I pulled off my jacket and threw it to the side as Claire hurried to get the aid kit.
"What is going on, Alex? Don't lie to me" Claire begs me as I lift my shirt up, she sees the scars on my body and freezes a bit.
"I'll explain, just fix this first please" I beg her as she sees the ripped stitches on my side.
I lay down on my old bed and she hands me a bottle of vodka. I take a large gulp of it and let her pour vodka over it, to disinfect it.
I clench my teeth to not scream out, Claire removed the ripped stitches before starting to stitch new ones.
The door suddenly bursts open, Marcus storms in and slams the door after him in anger. "What the fuck is going on here?!"
I lifted my head and Claire did too, I rolled my eyes and threw my head back.
"Just ignore him and continue, I always do that" I retorted– Claire can't help but chuckle, but continues as I told her, I take another gulp of the vodka bottle and Marcus comes up to my side.
"Who did this?" Marcus asks with gritted teeth.
"None of your damn business, fuck face. Get out of here and keep your mouth shut" I retort, followed by a groan of pain and Claire continues, trying to do it as fast as possible.
Marcus suddenly kneeled next to the bed and grabbed my hand, despite my attempts to slap his hands away from me. He was stubborn, so I clenched it tightly both because it hurt and because I wanted to hurt him.
"Was it that guy at the bar?" He asks trying to get answers. "Marcus, shut up or get out" Claire snaps.
He gives her a firm nod before shutting up, I clench harder onto his hand and I notice his jaw clenching at my actions, maybe I succeeded in hurting him?
Claire finished up and put a bandage over it to keep it closed off. I grabbed my jacket and zipped it shut. I threw my bloody top out in the trash and I thanked Claire.
"Not so fast, Claire I need a word with her" Marcus calls out and blocks me from leaving.
"Really? About what?" I retort angrily as I look up at him. I got up in his face to prove my point, meanwhile Claire closed the door after her as she left.
"Don't be like that, we need to talk about it" Marcus said in a softer tone, but he was still harsh.
"I don't think we do, unless you want a broken face" I retorted. "Your brothers won't hit me" Marcus scoffs.
"Who said anything about my brothers?" I ask him with a small smirk.
"Leave me alone, you seem to do that so well" I retorted and walked around him for the door, but he grabbed my arm and pulled me back around to face him.
He's still tall enough to hover over me, his breath hitting my face. It gave me unpleasant memories–unwanted memories.
"You're the one who left without a goodbye" Marcus scoffs. My eyes widened in anger as I realized he was blaming me.
"Me? You're the one who fucking ditched me after you fucked me—You're the one who fucking left!" I shout at him and shove him back.
"You fucking left me!" I shout at him– he looks down in what seemed like shame, he bites his lip and clenches his jaw.
"I know. It was the biggest mistake I've ever made" Marcus says with a frown. He looks into my eyes and I see the regret I didn't want to see.
I needed him to be the douchebag who treated me like shit, otherwise I couldn't hate him.
"Don't do that" I say and shake my head in denial.
"They didn't tell you did he?" Marcus mumbles as he rubs his chin, a stubble had grown out.
"Who didn't tell me what?" I huff in annoyance.
"Nothing, I'm sorry. I shouldn't have come here" Marcus says before bolting for the door, he leaves and I stand back in my old room, alone. Once again.
