Finn Bálor woke up the next day with the sun poking through his window. He felt a sense of happiness wash over him, as if he was feeling a new light inside of him.

Last night was amazing, he loved the wedding and the reception. Sami had finally got what he had wanted for his whole life. Finn was also happy to be apart of the ceremony in such a big way. 

And Bayley.

Oh, he couldn't forget about her. She was one hell of a woman. He liked everything about her, he wanted to know her even better. He knew it was a long shot, but he decided to call her.

Before he could do that, his phone rang.

"Finn? Guess what?" Finn heard Sami's voice on the other end.

"What?"

"I'm married! I'm a married man!"

Finn rolled his eyes and chuckled at his best friend. He could just hear the excitement in his voice. Sami was truly happy to be married, and Finn could hear that.

"Yeah, I can tell you're excited. Does it feel any different than yesterday?"

There was a pause on the other end. "Nope. Finn, if I'm being honest, I think I'm more in love with Becky than I was yesterday."

Finn smiled at Sami's statement. He knew his best friend could be cheesy, but even this was past his "normal cheesy zone".

Sami ended the call and Finn got up to start his day. He showered, along with throwing on his joggers and a long sleeve shirt. He decided that he would call Bayley and see if she wanted to hang out.

"Hello?" Finn heard her voice on the other end.

"Hi, Bayley, I was just wondering if you wanted to hang out today?"

She laughed on the other end. "What, you didn't see me enough yesterday?" She joked. "I'm kidding, I'd love to."

"Great, meet me at Central Park?"

"Don't you think it's a little cold to be sitting in a park?"

Finn pondered the thought. "Fine, Rockefeller Center."

"Yes, because standing in front of a tree makes it less cold."

"Just trust me."

She sighed and then the phone call ended. Finn smiled to himself as this woman was getting to him. He knew that she would end up meeting him there, or at least he was hoping she would.

He had pretty high faith she would. He grabbed his coat and headed out the door. He walked the streets of the NYC, thinking about this. He wasn't considering this a date, but it very well could've been.

He walked to where he told Bayley to meet him. When he got there, he saw her there. She was wearing a long coat, with jeans and boots. He walked up to her and she turned around.

"Hey, Bayley."

"Hey, Finn. Thanks for inviting me out. Sasha had an early shift this morning, so it was nice to get out of my apartment."

Finn smiled and grabbed her hands. "You're welcome."

She returned the smile, flashing her big brown eyes up at him. He saw the beauty in her face, taking in all of her features. The way her hair hung just at her shoulders, her clear skin beaming with radiance, her brown eyes, her smile lines, and most important, her gleaming white teeth smiling up at him.

"Finn, what's wrong?" She asked, concern washing over her face that he had been analyzing.

"Nothing, I'm just taking in your presence."

She smiled and pushed a piece of hair behind her ear. She looked up at him and took in his facial features. His beard, the way his piercing blue eyes stared down at her, that cheesy grin he always seemed to have on his face.

She liked him. A lot.

Finn liked her too, of course, but neither one knew how to react to this situation. Finn wanted to kiss her, but he didn't know how she would react.

Finn decided to go for it anyway, he pulled her closer, closing the space between them. He put his hand on her cheek, moving a strand of hair from her face. She reached her arms up around his neck as he leaned forward to place a soft kiss on her lips.

She kissed him back. This kiss was soft, tender, and something so close between the two. Finn was in love with this woman, but he knew it was too soon to tell her that.

"Finn, thank you."

He smiled and then agreed to walk her home. He was so happy, and he didn't care who knew about it.
