With fresh mind but equally heavy heart, I get ready and head towards university.

24 hours back, I desperately wanted to be in my college to get to see monica,  But now, I hope I never see her again.
A day can do lot to a person.

As I enter my routine class of 10:00 AM, I see Carol standing outside my class room, probably waiting for someone at the door.

"Hey Carol, what are you doing here"- I ask.

"Well Jack,  I wanted to see you- She
replies. I wanted to apologize.                

I shouldn't have joked about your feelings despite knowing Monica was not single"

"I would not say it didn't hurt, but Carol it's okay, I dont even know Monica properly, Its just some random daily crush"

"I know you will do just fine"- carol smiles. BYE

"Bye"

I enter my classroom, thinking I was stupid that I started to think I was in love with someone I barely knew.
Maybe I rushed with my feelings. I should have waited. Tried to win her as a friend first.

I am a firm believer that I can only love a person whom I can befriend first.

These LOVE AT FIRST SIGHT STORIES are only good for movies. Not for reality.

With my bit of digging, I found out Monica was dating a guy called LEE,  who happen to be her friend since childhood.

They are together for about a year now,
And Very happily into each other.
